Complaint: I attended University XXXX and used my XXXX GI Bill. When the money ran out I took out a personal loan so that I could complete the degree plan. When I enrolled in the XXXX XXXX Program I was made to believe that the majority of my classes from my XXXX in XXXX XXXX would be accepted. I made a spread sheet and compared the XXXX Texas classes with XXXX to show where they were identical and none of them were accepted. I was on a time constraint and trying to move upward in my career so I maintained enrollment until I completed the program. As I attended the classes I confirmed that they were all the same as the ones I completed through XXXX Texas XXXX that University XXXX was claiming to be higher series than the XXXX XXXX level

Mortgage: FHA mortgage

Complaint: I have had my mortgage with NavyFederal Credit Union for over 2 and a half years. The house I have a mortgage on is currently being rented because I live in another state. My tenant tends to pay after the XXXX of every month so because his payment is delayed, so is my payment to NFCU. It is quite aggravating that I am not able to make a payment on NFCU 's website if it is after the XXXX. I have to call-in every month that my tenant is late ; go through a whole list of repeat questions on why I 'm late and have to endure some person scolding me because it 's after the XXXX. I always consistently pay my mortgage within the same month so why do I have to go through the XXXX degree of getting lectured about paying my loan if I 'm still in the grace period? Also, why ca n't I just make my payment online if it 's still within the same month that the mortgage payment is due? There has to be some type of law against this. Previous to NFCU, I had my mortgage serviced with XXXX and they would encourage that you went online. It 's a complete waste of my time to have to wait on hold, answer a bunch of silly questions and then deal with the attitude of the person on the other line about why I 'm late. Especially when it 's only the XXXX of the month.

Complaint: NFCU Mortgage and XXXX Insurance Section sent XXXX threatening letters regarding Master Flood and Master Hazard insurance on the condominium we own. The letters inferred that we ( the XXXX ) did not have insurance and I / we ( the owners of unit XXXX ) did not provide proof, NFCU would buy the insurance at an additional cost to us ( the owners ). Upon investigating this allegation, we contacted the XXXX insurance company and quickly resolved the situation. The NFCU Mortgage and XXXX Insurance Section could have performed this task just as easily,,, but was either too lazy or incompetent to execute the task. The letters as written are not customer friendly, ,in fact they are downright insulting to any long term member ( 20 years ).

Complaint: Hi, my big problem comes from being under Navy Federal Credit Union when I was XXXX the XXXX as a XXXX. I only XXXX 2 years but was XXXX. Before I was XXXX under XXXX circumstances, I took out a XXXX Loan from Navy Federal cause I had some things I wanted to get started on New computers/ Travel Expenses/Car since family Lived in XXXX while I was stationed in XXXX . The main stipulation to the contract that I signed was that I paid extra for a coverage that my Loan would be covered IN FULL. If I were to ever be XXXX from the XXXX of my own will and not XXXX. After Wards I had my account frozen since I was low on funds and trying to find a living situation when I got out. I was constantly being reminded by Navy federal for my payment which I was never late on until I was XXXX. I mentioned to them that my contract states that it would be covered if I get XXXX through means above me. They constantly ignored me asked for me to pay my bills ect. until I went to a Navy Federal Branch in XXXX that I was told the exact thing that I could have my debt handled if I contacted their insurance provider. So I did just that, Sat through hour long phone calls though operators/ Automated voices, I finally get in contact to a insurance provider. They have me Fax them the contract including my XXXX which is military XXXX papers, I danced with them for Weeks close to a month. I kept getting retorts that my Fax did n't go through or I had to deal with another Operator which was n't the same dealing with the case at the time. So I threw my hands up and gave up thinking I got swindled and lied to into a massive loan that I could have paid for if I stayed in the service. The Reason Im also filing a complaint is cause I saw that Navy Federal is under fire for Debt Collecting.
