Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I have noticed two collection accounts were placed on my credit report.they are both from XXXX XXXX/XXXX XXXX XXXX In addition to this information, The accounts are reported as open. I remember those debt has been deleted and removed from credit report a couple of months ago. The debt collection agency has called me and I told them multiple times that that debt has been removed from my credit report months ago ( the debt was not valid ). The same lady representative that works for the company complains ''Oh since it has been removed doesn't mean that you don't owe the debt. I replied " the debts have been removed and if it was placed on my credit report I will file a complaint. She stated it will not be placed on my reported and continually saying just because it has been removed does not mean anything. I told her the debts are not valid and have a different amount for the debts anyway. I also notice that Midwest Recovery has always bought a debt and add it to the credit report with a higher amount than the original bill as well making it a new debt. the debt amount reported to my credit file is {$1700.00} and {$1000.00}.

Complaint: I unlocked my credit files and obtained copies of my credit report from all three reporting agencies/bureaus and noticed that there is derogatory debt in the amount of {$770.00} reported by Midwest Recovery Systems, supposedly collecting debt for XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I Googled both and discovered that XXXX XXXX offer online pay day loans, which are ILLEGAL in the State of Georgia and are not offered here. My employer, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX had a major data breach in XX/XX/XXXX. They offered employees and family members credit protections for XXXX years and my credit reports have been locked/frozen since then. This debt has an open date of XX/XX/XXXX, which shouldn't/could n't have occurred as my accounts were locked/frozen. XXXX also had a breach in XX/XX/XXXX but my credit files were already being monitored/locked/frozen. I have NEVER applied for a loan in Georgia or in any state or gone online or into any brick and mortar office to apply for a loan with these creditors. I have NEVER received any correspondence from either creditor and this debt is not valid as it was supposedly incurred during the time when all three of my credit reports were locked/frozen.

Complaint: Midwest Recovery Systems have placed a collection on my credit report for a payday loan I have never applied or received. I have made many attempts to contact the company, but all I can never get a person on the phone. I have disputed this account with the credit bureaus, requesting validation of the debt and that too goes nowhere. The bureaus say that the account is mine, but I have yet to receive validation of this account. Never have I had a payday loan with XXXX or any other company. This account is not mine and Midwest Recovery Systems can not validate this account as being mine. They wont remove this from my credit. This account is fraudulent and the company appears to be fraudulent as well.

I filed a complaint with all three credit reporting agencies with supporting documentation and XXXX is the ONLY one that removed it because my documentation proved that 1 ) my name did not match the name on what they have 2 ) Midwest recovery has ZERO documentation 3 ) they harassed my parents back in XXXX when I did not even live at whatever address they HAVE LISTED 4 ) I was living in XXXX XXXX 5 ) I had already reported case of identity theft by that time 5 ) now its been over 30 days with ZERO response by such company Midwest recovery and XXXX and XXXX have yet to remove it while it still lowers my credit score. I AM BEYOND LIVID

Complaint: I have contacted Midwest recovery systems and XXXX credit bureau in regards to an account Midwest has with XXXX. XXXX. This account in the amount of {$670.00} was paid in full as of XX/XX/2018 to Midwest Recoveries attorneys XXXX and XXXX. I've sent a paid in full letter twice to both agencies with no luck. One tells me that XXXX and XXXX need to do it notify XXXX credit bureau and Midwest recovery says that I do. I have sent everyone documentation twice and faxed it once both to the above company.
Items on my credit report with XXXX sore I have no credit card debt. And everything is at XXXX they are showing open balances from XXXX they will not correct it.

Complaint: Midwest Recovery Systems never sent me anything in writing about a supposed debt that is past the statute of limitations in my state of Louisiana. Also, they were rude and verbally abusive when contacted by phone. This company refuses to answer in writing and wrongly claims that the debt is mine. I've asked for validation and they refuse. I'm requesting the removal of this fraudulent account from all three credit reporting agencies.

Complaint: I am writing about a incorrect COLLECTION item which was falsely reported to my credit file from a DEBT COLLECTOR in XX/XX/XXXX ( more than a year ago ) and has damaged my credit and reduced by credit scores. I was not aware that this item had been reported to my credit report until today. XX/XX/XXXX. No attempt to collect the debt was made. No calls. No letters. Midwest Recovery Systems claims that they sent an email to an old address of mine to collect the debt. Since when are debt collectors, collecting debts via email.
I spoke to a supervisor at Midwest Recovery Systems named XXXX XXXX at XXXX xXXXX. During the conversation, it became clear that they had no intention of resolving the issue in a fair manner. They had no desire to verify whether this was a valid debt reported by the ORIGINAL CREDITOR ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ). All they cared about was me paying off the debt without confirming and letting me at least confirm if it was a debt that I owed.
I am being held hostage by Midwest Recovery Systems because they state that they will delete the negative collections entry from my credit report, if I make the payment of {$93.00}. I asked the debt collector to provide this to me in writing but they claim that they can not do that. They claim that I have to trust them and that they have a A+ rating with the XXXX. This fraudulent debt collection practice needs to stop and Midwest Recovery Systems should be taken to task for holding people hostage in this manner. It is a well known fact that Collection items once paid are just marked as " paid '' in the credit report but remain on the credit report for 7 years.
The original debtor XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX, a theme park, is also in serious violation of consumer rights. I have been a member at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX since XXXX. I spoke with their membership department to cancel my membership on XX/XX/XXXX. At the time, they convinced to stay on as a member by offering me a rate of {$15.00} per month ( a big discount from the original amount of $ 45+ per month ) and convinced me to stay on as a member stating that I could always cancel anytime. On XX/XX/XXXX, I realized that I was barely using the membership and sent them an email asking that my membership be canceled. They responded stating that I owed them a termination fee {$45.00} because I had signed a 12-month membership. This was completely untrue. I asked them to send me proof of me signing such a membership. To which they sent me an EMPTY membership agreement, and said that I had digitally signed it. I never digitally signed any such membership agreement when they offered me this attractive rate of {$15.00} per month and stated that I could cancel anytime. I would challenge XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to provide the Membership Agreement which they claim I signed digitally or otherwise.
In closing, I never owed the amount in dispute. And I was never given a chance to dispute the collection attempt. I did not even know that the collection item had been on my credit report and had damaged my credit for over 18 months.
I request you to help me resolve this issue. This invalid and incorrect COLLECTION REPORT on my credit report should be removed. Please also have XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX provide you with a signed membership agreement which claims that I owed them 12 monthly payments of which 3 were not paid. If they are unable to provide such an agreement then they should remove this debt from my account.
I will leave any punitive decisions for you to make.
