They stated that I have a outstanding debt for the amount of {$1000.00} which i did not owe. I have tried calling them. Line is always busy. I have been fixing my credit for 2 years now and I got it to an excellent score. Now with this on my credit report, I have taken me to a good score.

Complaint: I received a notification from XXXX that I had an account in collections in the amount of {$200.00} from creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. This was being handled by a collections company called Midwest Recovery Systems. I have no such account, never heard of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, do not EVER use pay day loan services, received no notification from Midwest by phone, email or mail that an account was in collections. I suspect my information was bought or stolen. Some research online revealed that this is a common complaint with Midwest Recovery. How was this information not validated before this was placed on my credit report? This is complete and total fraud and identity theft. I want this collection charge removed from my credit report immediately and I want written notification from Midwest that my information will not be used for fraudulent purposes again.

I have had online installment loans, but never online payday loans. This is not my account. I have never once recieved a notice stating I owed a bill or a email for that matter.

Complaint: I checked my XXXX XXXX account today, luckily. It now shows a derogatory mark on both my XXXX and XXXX reports. Supposedly this is for a {$700.00} debt owed originally to " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' that is in collections from " Midwest Recovery Systems. '' I have never even heard of XXXX XXXX XXXX. After researching online, it appears to be a payday loan company. I have never received any mail, any calls, anything from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I do not need and do not take out payday loans. Additionally, I have never received any mail, calls, statements, etc. from Midwest Recovery Systems. This is not my debt and I am furious it is showing up on my credit reports as I am saving for my first home. This has caused a HUGE drop in my credit score. I have filed disputes with both XXXX and XXXX. It is not showing up yet on XXXX. Please assist. My husband and I have worked very hard to build credit, save for a home, etc. and this is jeopardizing everything we have worked for.

Complaint: Tonight ( XXXX XX/XX/XXXX19 ), I received a credit monitoring alert that a new derogatory account was listed on my credit report. I immediately noticed it as a debt that was already paid. I never received any call or letter informing me of the debt - it just magically appeared on my credit report. I called the collection agency to find out what was going on. The balance was {$50.00} even. I told the collector that I had never received any phone call or documentation via mail about the debt, and requested that to be sent to my address because the debt was not mine. She informed me that she would not provide that to me and that I was responsible for the outstanding balance after insurance and to pay it now. I told her that this wasn't my debt but to avoid the headache, if she would send me a letter in writing stating that if I paid the balance this negative information would be removed from my credit report, I'd pay immediately. I don't pay anyone without knowing exactly what I owe and for what, and she was very defensive when I requested validation. Instead, she emailed me a notice to collect without any requested financial information. I have already paid the collection to the original creditor, so I am hesitant to pay anything else without proof that I owe this money. I called back to request that I not be contacted by phone and spoke to another collector. She attempted to collect the debt once more, and I explained the event that occurred previously. She told me that I was lying about what I was saying, and both of the collectors used baby talk to try to get me to understand what they were saying. I was well aware of my rights and knew that my request for debt validation was sound.

Complaint: So I filed a previous complaint against Midwest Recovery Systems only for them to totally respond with information that was nothing but a lie. They claimed that MRS policy to send notice within five days of communication per the FDCPA. Our internal policy is to honor both verbal, and written validation requests. MRS broke the law per FDCPA because they put this so called debt on my credit reports without notifing me at all, their agent callled and bragged that MRS had already submitted to the credit bureaus.

I contacted them by phone today and they referenced an email address and bank account that hasn't been opened since XX/XX/XXXX which makes me think they are re-aging a long expired debt that is out of Sta tue of Limitations to collect on. I was offered that I could pay to have it deleted instead of going through all the hassle of disputing it which also sounds fishy and illegal. This fraudulent collection on my report has now caused great harm in my prefect credit report with no blemishes and lowered my score by more than 60 points.

They claim I owe a doctors debt {$680.00} from XXXX XXXX, what is stupid and ridiculus about this is the agent that actually called me mainly called to brag that Midwest Recoveries had already placed this debt on my credit report. Whats not fair about any of this : 1. I have dealt with this company before and told them that this debt is mine. I dont owe a bill with this company 2. Even if this debt where to be validated, what is not fair to myself is I have never been notified of this debt. The company " Midwest Recoveries '' proudly threw this debt on my credit report. They never gave a chance for it to be addressed just throw it on a consumers credit report.

Complaint: I am sure that I have already paid this debt. I had gone to exhaustive measures to pay all the loans I had ever taken out several years ago and have not taken any loans out for many years. They say this debt was from XX/XX/2012. I know that a few years ago, after XX/XX/2012 but I'm not sure what year I paid everything because I had the money to and I knew I probably wouldn't get another chance. Since then I've had continuous phone calls and debt collections activities target me because of what I believe to be what is called " Zombie Debt. '' These collectors will send phony letters or even try and collect on legitimate past debts that has already been paid. I called a lawyer and they told me to come here but that the CFPB has been gutted by Trump. If you know of a good lawyer then email me their info because I would rather pay thousands to a lawyer now to make this stop than keep paying these XXXX every time they want to exploit me.

Complaint: Midwest Recovery placed a collection account on my credit report in XX/XX/2018. I did not receive a XXXX letter nor notification regarding the debt. I wrote a letter to Midwest recovery in XX/XX/2018 and again in XXXX & XXXX asking for debt validation. Meanwhile I also request validation from XXXX XXXX and XXXX. To date the debt has not been validated but still remains on my XXXX and XXXX credit report. Ive sent a second dispute letter and XXXX was the only agency to remove the debt because it couldnt be validated. Midwest has not responded to three request to validate and XXXX and XXXX have failed to provide the method of validation. This account is unknown to me and I wish it to be removed from my credit report.

However midwest recovery have failed to provide such information violating FCRA. I have waited more than 30 days for them to furnish such information while they continuously illegally report the unvalidated information to the credit bureaus. I want said account removed or I will seek legal services. Do not attempt to call, email, or mail me any information. All correspondence will be via this website.
