Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 there were 14 unauthorized Chase XXXX transactions, equaling out to the amount of {$1900.00}. {$2000.00} was transferred from my savings account to my checking account and then the XXXX transactions were sent without my knowledge. The devices that accessed my accounts on XX/XX/XXXX were devices that I have never accessed with my accounts. The two devices that accessed my account were XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX and device history shows that these two devices only accessed my accounts on the day my accounts were compromised. I received a text alert to my cell phone at the time these transactions occurred and called Chase at approximately XXXX PST to help me handle this situation. I then spoke with a claims representative who told me that the phone numbers used in the XXXX XXXX transactions did not match any previous phone numbers that I have ever sent funds through quick pay with. At the end of my call with Chase they stated that I had to close my accounts and open up new ones due to my accounts being compromised, which I did. Additionally I changed my username and password for mobile banking and changed passwords to my email and mobile devices. On XX/XX/2019 I called Chase as I hadnt received any updates on my claim and the money had not been put back into my accounts. The claims rep told me my claim was invalid and gave me a vague explanation as to why. They stated that they had seen no unusual activity or password changes to my mobile banking account. I asked what the next steps would be, and they said that I had to fax proof that it was not me who made the transactions and that I had to contact XXXX themselves in order receive documents of proof. I tried contacting XXXX, the company that handles Chase XXXX XXXX and they specifically state that they do not handle any discrepancies that have transpired through personal bank accounts. At that point I was very lost and felt that Chase was giving me different excuses in order not to take on the situation and unwilling to help get my hard earned money back!

Problem using a debit or ATM card
Complaint: On XXXX I went to my local Chase bank to withdrawal money at the ATM and when I tried to do so it told me I did not have the funds. I pulled over in the parking lot and pulled up on my phone the Chase App and noticed that there were two pending transactions one for {$300.00} and one for {$500.00} for a quick pay XXXX payment that I did not do or to a person whom I do not know. I right away went into the bank and told the teller I was hacked and all my funds were gone. She handed me a business card and told me to file a claim with the phone number on the card. I called the fraud department and filed a claim for the fraudulent charges that were still showing pending on my account. The bank froze my account and I had to go to the bank on Monday and open up a knew account and close the other account. Chase has denied my claim and now tells me I owe them {$800.00}.

Complaint: I was working on securing a mortgage loan with Chase Bank online. I had started this process in XXXX in the downtown XXXX XXXX branch as I use to live there.
I was informed on XXXX of XXXX that the guideline requires that my wife should have a 6 months of continued employment and documented previous experience.
Since she had just returned to work on XX/XX/XXXX that we had to wait until XX/XX/XXXX to be considered.
We waited until then. When I made an offer for another house, I started working with a remote office in Ohio which I was directed to by calling there toll free # online. My contact was XXXX XXXX- Lending Adviser NMLS ID XXXX.
I explained to him the situation and that we had to wait for six months.
He contacted me after the six months wait time was up. He advised me that it is prudent to complete the application process and get approval prior to making another offer. I agreed and stated this process.
I told him that its hard to find the right property while waiting to be approved. He said I can always make an offer while this process is completed.
I found property on XX/XX/XXXX when a new listing was posted.
I went to see the house and made an offer. The offer was accepted and I paid {$4000.00} Deposit Escrow to close in 30 days.
I sent the purchase agreement to XXXX by e-mail only to receive an automatic reply that he is out of town for a week! fearing that I will be losing more than a week. I called and asked to get help from someone else. I was directed to another loan adviser her name is XXXX XXXX who was very helpful in following up helping upload more of the required documents. She charged me {$500.00} service fee?.
When XXXX came back to work he called me and asked that I work with him. I uploaded more documents including an explanation of why my wife was out of work for 18 months. She had to immigrate to the US and we got married, had a baby She had to stay home to take care of.
On XX/XX/XXXX he called and said Chase could not accept my wife 's income in consideration for this loan because she was working overseas prior to working here in the US.
This was verbal and I asked to talk to someone else. I left messages for his supervisor and so far have not heard or gotten any written notification of rejecting my loan.
I only have 12 days left Chase never followed up.
I don ; 't know what to do.
I will contact other lenders but my time is limited and I need help!

Fee problem
Complaint: My card was stolen and there was a fraud check cashed on my account along with some unauthorized purchases. After seeing this I immediately called chase claim department and informed them of the situation. Chase froze my account and told me to open up a new one while they came to a solution. A week later chase reversed my claim saying I benefited from the purchases or fraud check. I tried to explain to chase that it would be impossible for me to make a atm transaction in XXXX XXXX while I attend school in XXXX Texas with no means of transportation. Now my total balance is XXXX + dollars money I have never had all at once. It will be impossible for me to pay this back along side the banks normal fees. Please help me in any way possible.

Complaint: On XX/XX/19, I saw a posting on XXXX for tickets. I've purchased tickets through XXXX a million times so I was not too concerned. I sent money through my Chase app for {$90.00} and received only silence.
I had no idea that my bank would not cover something they endorsed and provided through their sanctioned online application.
I did not receive my tickets and the bank refused to refute the transaction or give me my money back. I made two calls to Chase explaining the situation. They said there are no consumer protections. I called XXXX. XXXX could see the account but also that there was no way to stop the transaction.
The companies involved are XXXX and Chase, through the Chase app.

Problem with fees
Complaint: Chase World of Hyatt credit cart charges annual fee of {$95.00} on the very first day of account approval. Then in starts applying interest on the annual fee right away even if account is not activated.
This is an unfair business practice that CFPB needs to address.
I did not activate and start using the card until two months later. Even before any charges were made to the card, I apparently owned Chase {$96.00} ( annual fee plus interest ).
When a month later I paid the card in full and closed the the account, Chase refused to wave the annual fee and was not even willing to prorate a fee for an account that was used for one month only.
Furthermore, I when asked Chase to reverse any Hyatt bonuses earned on a card in exchange for waiver of the annual fee ( similar to contract rescission ), which Chase refused as well. Granted, after hearing my arguments, customer service offered to waive late fee and {$1.00} in interest as accommodation to a long-standing customer.

Complaint: Chase charged my account {$100.00} in overdraft fees. They refunded one. I have an agreement with Chase that when my account gets to or below {$50.00} I am to be alerted. This has been in place for years. On XX/XX/XXXX Chase did not hold up their end of the agreement and failed to notify me. They are claiming that in certain circumstances this can not be done. Well, I have never been informed of these circumstances or guidelines. The manager that I spoke with suggested I visit a branch and find out. I refused as this is after the fact and the manager was unable to determine when I signed up for the alerts.
My question to him was if your records do not indicate the date of the agreement then how do you know what the agreement states. The agreement had no exceptions. Now the agreement has exceptions for this particular situation.

Complaint: On or around XX/XX/2019 an single application was submitted for credit. An inquiry was authorized and my XXXX pulled. I was informed that the application was under review. The next day I contacted Chase and was told that the application was denied. I was told by the representative that I could be transferred to the reconsideration department. I informed the representative that would be fine. Upon speaking with the representative at no time was I ever informed by the representative and I did not authorize the pull of my XXXX report which resulted in a un authorized inquiry on my XXXX report. When I was notified by XXXX that Chase had pulled my report I contact the phone number that was on my credit report. I spoke with a representative and explained that I did not authorize a second pull on my credit report for reconsideration of the denied application and I was never informed that this would be taking place. I was advised that they would investigate and provided me a call back. Which never happened. I have received no correspondence from this creditor at all related to the denied application or the investigation into the the unauthorized pull of my XXXX report.

Complaint: Before I purchased round trip ticket on XXXX to XXXX from XXXX, I decided to take advantage of the promotion they were running which included XXXX bonus miles ( after spending {$2000.00} on purchases in the 1st 3 months account open ) AND, most importantly, {$250.00} statement credit " Enjoy a {$250.00} statement credit after your first purchase with the MileagePlus Explorer Card. If you make your first purchase today, your first purchase and statement credit will post on the same statement ''.
I applied and was accepted and booked my flight on XX/XX/19. I just received my statement and the {$250.00} credit was not reflected so I called, twice. Their response was that marketing won't approve because I didn't go through the correct promotional online path.
As a consumer, I don't decide what the path is. I printed out the promotion to be sure I had documentation of what the promotional offer was. They will not credit my account with the {$250.00}. I called Chase on XX/XX/XXXX and again on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX ( CST ). Spoke with XXXX XXXX. I also sent an email to XXXX explaining the situation to see if they can help since it is their partnership with Chase.
I am at a loss as to what to do next.
