Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: My boyfriend and I ordered some custom grillz from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX fl in XX/XX/XXXX XXXX we live in NC ) merchant advised us the teeth would be overnighted and by XX/XX/XXXX we hadn't recieved them.
I filed a dispute with my Chase XXXX Visa. Chase gave a temp credit of {$680.00}.
The merchant responded to the charge back and provided Chase Visa a XXXX tracking number.
I fought with Chase because I knew we didn't receive the teeth, and yet I had no idea how to prove we hadn't received the teeth.
I left chase alone & paid the {$680.00}.
XX/XX/XXXX my neighbor had a plumbing emergency and had a plumbing company over. One of the workers had found a package on the front porch which had my address on it saw me outside in the driveway ( we share a driveway ) and gave me the package.
Turns out the XXXX delivered to the wrong address ( which has happened before in my rural area ). I have went put of my way to make 2 deliveries of packages to houses on my street.
When my bf opened the package they were not what we ordered at all. So I contacted my Chase XXXX Visa explained to them the complete situation and apologized for giving them a hard time previously, told them we got the merchandise but it wasnt at all what we ordered and they told me to send it back to XXXX ask for a refund and wait 12 to 15 days for the merchant to give us a refund, if after the 12 days had passed they would process a refund for my {$680.00} once I called them back and provide a XXXX number for our return. So we did that. Never got a refund or response from the merchant and Chase XXXX visa hadn't been responding to my redispute and I had not seen a credit back to my card. So I kept in contact with chase customer service and on 3 different occasions from XX/XX/XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX was assured that I would be getting a refund from multiple customer service reps. XXXX I called into chase and had my issue escalated ended up speaking with a lady named XXXX, she advised me that anytime I sent a secured message to them regarding anything to do with this merchant or merchandise or initial dispute a rep would go in the message center and just delete without responding stated that XX/XX/XXXX I was advised in writing that no future further action regarding this dispute would EVER happen. So I asked XXXX why all of the other reps never told me this, why they advised me to send back the merchandise and chase would process a refund? XXXX just said she was very sorry I was not aware of the XX/XX/XXXX letter and there was nothing further She was able to do for me. I asked if I could speak to someone above her and turns out She Is her own supervisor and must own JP Morgan Chase bank she told me there was noone else that I could verbally speak with I could write a letter to the executive office but there wasn't a number.
I found the number.
I contact the executive branch. They take my complaint. I'm assigned a man named XXXX. He advises me he would be back in touch with me within a couple of business days. The executive office told me it's their job to figure out if there was any wrong doing in the disputes department throughout my case, and then they make things right. I hadn't heard back from XXXX. I follow up on XX/XX/XXXX no response I call again XX/XX/XXXX and he finally calls me back stats that he only could find a few calls and absolutely no secure messages through their mesg center. I advised him he needed to recheck letting him know I have screen shots of the secured messages and also some recordings of phone calls he states he can not find. He asks to have a couple of hours and call me back with his new research findings. XXXX calls me back and has found some calls and listened to the recordings and admits that I was correct, however, they are not willing to reimburse me for my {$680.00}. He's not willing to take responsibility for Chase customer service reps advising me to send the merchandise back and get a refund, In the phone calls he did review he didn't find THAT call, there isn't anything in writing from me thru their secure message center and they can't find the phone calls I'm referring to regarding their employees telling me what to do and stating I'm not responsible for a product that I havent used and have returned and or that's incorrect. XXXX denies some phone calls he still can't find so I let him know I'm going to my cell provider and get a print out fron XX/XX/XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX to show me contacting them and the duration of those calls. XXXX had already told me Chase did not place any notes into my account and doesn't have to input due dilligence. After XXXX admitted he found that there in fact was misconduct on their part, he told me he found opportunities for coaching with 2 or 3 employees. States hes not willing to take responsibility for Chase customer service reps advising me to send the merchandise back and get a refund, in the phone calls he did review he didn't find THAT call, there isn't anything in writing from me thru their secure message center and he wasn't able to find the phone calls I'm referring to regarding their employees telling me what to do and stating I'm not responsible for a product that I havent used and have returned and or that's incorrect! He found coaching opportunities! That doesn't put my {$680.00} back into my account! And surely doesn't make things right! I have screen shots of the secure messages that I sent with acknowledgement from chase they received my messages. This blows my mind!
I guess they want to pay legal fees for me taking them to court regarding their egregious behavior.

Confusing or misleading advertising about the credit card
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I had called Chase Ultimate Rewards ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) to cancel my round trip flight to XXXX and re-book a one way ticket. I was told that there was a residual value of {$120.00}, and that that I could call Chase Ultimate Rewards to redeem for future airlines ( my boyfriend had a value of ~ {$450.00} leftover as well but this is connected to a different card ). The representative stated that I had until XX/XX/XXXX to use the credit with any XXXX flight and provided me with the customer service number to call when I was ready to redeem.
I spoke with a representative on XX/XX/XXXX in regards to booking a flight using my residual value of {$120.00}. She said I could not use the value to book any future flights ; when she could not help me any further, she filed a complaint for me. She was very rushed and did not explain anything to me. She said someone would contact me within 5 business days.
It had been 6 business days so I contacted Chase Ultimate Rewards again on XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke with XXXX ( who was very helpful ). At first she had difficulty finding my itinerary, however found it in the Chase system using my confirmation code. XXXX contacted XXXX to book my flight using the residual {$120.00}. A supervisor at XXXX said it is their policy that they don't accept residual values as credit towards future flights, and that the leftover money can not be used for any future flights. XXXX told me there was nothing else that I could do and that my {$120.00} and my boyfriends ~ {$450.00} were unable to be redeemed.
I feel that as a consumer, I was misled by the representative that I spoke with on XX/XX/XXXX. As a result of her lack of knowledge regarding XXXX XXXX booking policies, my boyfriend and I lost ~ {$570.00}. As a customer service representative for travel booking, one should have adequate knowledge of different airline policies when advising the customer. If we had been provided the correct information, it may have affected our decision to change our original flights ( thus, we would not have lost the " residual money '' aka NCO ).

Denied request to lower payments
Complaint: Hello, I purchased a car with Chase Auto Finance in XX/XX/2017. In XX/XX/2017, I was diagnosed with a XXXX XXXX. I have had to date XXXX XXXX on my XXXX to rid the XXXX. Unfortunately, I was late on my car payment. The account did not go 30 days late but, it was late. My income was reduced drastically, I went from making XXXX a year to XXXX.
Moving forward, I was injured at my job. I fell and XXXX my XXXX, XXXX my XXXX XXXX. I reached out to Chase and asked for a deferment in payments or reduction. I was denied, and I was told that because Im late every month is why I can not get a deferment. Chase has been well aware of my hardship, and has not made any attempt to assist me. No one in their right mind would willingly occur late fees. To feel as if Im being scolded like I am a child, when I called is obscurd.

Card was charged for something you did not purchase with the card
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I was working at XXXX XXXX XXXX doing a laundry reset. ( i did make a purchase there for XXXX ) My phone was charging in the car so I went to go get it and noticed I had several notifications from Chase asking if I made a purchase at a gas station for XXXX. I immediately said no I called them and replied to the email. Informing them that I did not make this transaction they cancelled my card and started a claim and credited the money back the following day. XX/XX/XXXX I recieved a letter saying that they deemed the transaction authorized. And that on XX/XX/XXXX they will take the funds back out of my account. I immediately called them and the rep told me that because I could have done it because I was in the vincity of that location. I told him that from where I was it was a good XXXX minutes away and that it wasn't me. I asked if I could send proof like pictures. He said say yes. So I did. I went back to the store took pictures and recorded myself in their computer of me working, it shows my in the laundry aisle working at the time the transaction happened. Their was no way to send the video so I sent pictures. Waited about a week and half to see if they recieved it, I even called about 3 times different days to see if they got it. After they recieved it I waited about a day and called them back, he said that it was declined again. I asked why he said because I had previous history with the merchant. I advise him that I rarely if ever go to that XXXX and I havent gotten gas from them in awhile, I spoke to someone higher and all she said was the claim was denied, their is nothing they can do. I refused to give up so I contacted XXXX XX/XX/XXXX to try and get this resolved he ( XXXX XXXX ) told me to give him a couple days I waited a week so I called back he then told me to file a police report becuSe he cant look at the cameras unless he has a report. So today XX/XX/XXXX I got one I sent it to him he then messages me back 20 minutes later saying that they don't have any footage and that XXXX is unable to assist. I have tried everything and anything and I dont feel like Chase is being fair, they didnt look up proof or even try they just looked at history ad was like no she csnt get her money back. I work to hard I have 3 jobs and this is a problem. I own a car it takes roughly about XXXX XXXX to fill up

Complaint: In XX/XX/2019 I deposited 2 checks and {$60.00} cash into an atm. One check for {$500.00} and the other for {$700.00}. The atm stated there was an error and couldnt deposit the checks but successfully deposited the cash. The atm did not return my checks so I went into the chase branch. The atm and branch are located in XXXX Ohio. The branch manager called to make a claim for me and I was told the cash would be cleared in 12 hrs. 17 hrs passed and the check wasnt cleared. I called back to chases claims department and they told me to wait 12 more hrs. 12 hrs later they told me to wait 1-2 business days. 2 business days later they told me I have to wait for 10 more days. I keep getting the run around and I feel like I should be Reimbursed for the time Im forced to spend without my money and all late fees I will occur after not being able to pay my bills, eat, or live in a comfortable state due to chase and their negligence. As of XX/XX/19 I have not received any of the money that would have cleared from my checks. Please contact me at XXXX or XXXX XXXX

You never received your bill or did not know a payment was due
Complaint: I have been a loyal customer of chase for the last few years, and without a blemish on my account. Unbeknownst to me, due to lack of focus and judgement, I inadvertently scheduled automatic payment to an inactive account that caused me to missed two payments I wasn't aware of this matter until I checked my account and found out about the missing payments, which I immediately scheduled for payment at the end of this week.
I am a XXXX making over 300k a year, and certainly can make this payment without a problem. It was a mistake and I ask that you exercise good will and erasing this delinquency from my credit record. My credit score is vital in securing a loan at a lower rate.
I thank you in advance for your consideration.
Sincerely XXXX XXXX XXXX

Problem with rewards from credit card
Complaint: This complaint is made with respect to a fraudulent statement made by the banker of Chase, which I was deceived to open a credit card account at the branch and thus lost the benefits I am entitled to. This is similar to the fraud scandal case of XXXX XXXX happened in XXXX, and banks and its bankers, representatives of banks, should bear higher fiduciary duties to customers.
I saw an online promotion of Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card for total of XXXX bonus points in or about XX/XX/XXXX, which the promotion was at Chase.com generally, instead of specific promotion through personal email or special link. Please refer to the attachment, which is dated XX/XX/XXXX, demonstrating this is the current and general offer at the time of that application. I was at the branch in XXXX, California on XX/XX/XXXX for other banking matter. The Banker Mr. XXXX XXXX was the person assisting me at that time, and I mentioned this offer to him. He answered that he could complete the application for me. I specifically asked him that if it is the same offer of XXXX points when he applies for me at the branch, comparing to me applying online by myself. He answered that the application system is the same everywhere and there is no difference whether I apply online by myself or through him at the branch.
Of course I trusted him because he is the banker and knows more than I do with respect to the banking system. He also said that he could get bonus or commission through completing applications for clients. However, what he stated is wrong and even fraudulent in order to receive his personal interests by providing wrongful information with me to open the credit card account.
I did receive the initial XXXX points after spending {$4000.00} per offer. Afterwards, Ive reached the spending requirement of {$30000.00} in or about XX/XX/XXXX, but I didnt receive the additional XXXX points. Thus, I went to the same branch on XX/XX/XXXX and talked to Ms. XXXX XXXX. Ms. XXXX made a call and found out that there is only XXXX points on my agreement because that offer of XXXX points was made for online application only. It was not applicable to branch applications.
This is completely ridiculous and unacceptable. I applied for this credit card solely because of this offer of XXXX bonus points, I was qualified, and I also relied on professional knowledge and advice from the banker. If I knew that this offer is made only for online application but not applicable to branch applications, why would I choose to have the banker to apply for me and lose the additional XXXX bonus points?! This is apparently not a rational decision that any reasonable person would make. I would be more than happily to apply for it online on my own and receive XXXX points without any of these hassles, including but not limited to talking to Chase and its representatives forever. The banker Mr. XXXX provided fraudulent statement and deceived me into applying the credit card through him at the branch.
This is highly illicit that the banker Mr. XXXX XXXX intentionally provides fraudulent advice and statement with me in order to receive his own personal benefits, which causes damages and detriment to me simultaneously. I am entitled to that additional XXXX points but not receive at this moment due to his unacceptable wrongdoing and fraudulent advice. I could simply apply for it online and receive full benefits of XXXX points. How can I know that, by the time of application back in XX/XX/XXXX, I wouldnt get the additional XXXX points when a representative of Chase told me I would?
