Complaint: I have noticed that when I make payments, Chase withholds some of the money from my available credit, making that withheld amount unavailable to me. In this situation, as of today XX/XX/2019, I have a {$34.00} credit to my account, meaning I should have {$430.00} in available credit, less any pending charges. I have {$98.00} in pending charges.. As a result, I should have {$330.00} in available credit. But I don't. I only have {$300.00} in available credit - when contacted to find out why, Chase states that my last payment of {$66.00} had not posted to the account ... but in fact their online banking website for my account shows this payment posted XX/XX/19 - yesterday. When I tried to explain that I needed to pay a bill with the full {$330.00} that I rightfully should have -- I was told that I'd have to wait 3-7 more days to speak with someone about it, and was hung up on by XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX when I tried to understand why there was a descrepancy with what I should have in available credit, and what they are allowing me.

Complaint: I contacted Chase Bank regarding my interest shown on my Southwest Rapid Rewards card this morning. I spoke with XXXX and then XXXX who absolutely was no help whatsoever. I utilized two promotional checks on this account. One where the full balance was due in full XX/XX/XXXXand the otherXX/XX/XXXX. I paid the first one off on XX/XX/XXXX -- in addition to all current charges for that month in order NOT to accrue any interests. However, what Chase did was to put the payment towards the offer for {$3500.00} which is due on XX/XX/XXXX and NOT to MONTHLY charges that I paid for. Chase then turn around and FRADULENTLY is now charging me on the purchases which I paid for that month a 25.24 % on {$1200.00}!! This type of bate and switch technique is unethical to which Chase Bank is forcing consumers to pay interest even though they still have a promotional offer which ends on XX/XX/XXXX. I WILL ENSURE THAT EVERY SOCIAL NETWORK AND MEDIA BECOME AWARE OF THIS UNETHICAL and FRAUDULENT TATIC THAT CHASE BANK HAS NOW RESORTED TO!! TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE!! Now, I definitely have a reason NOT to INVEST my or my husbands retirements with them.

Complaint: This is the second time I have reported this. I bank with JP Morgan Chase. On two occasions I have had items returned that I was not notified about via my online banking. I was not charged a fee, but I was also not notified items had been returned. One of those items was a utility/water bill. It is over 100 degrees in AZ and having water disconnected without my knowledge IS A HEALTH and SAFETY ISSUE not only for myself and my family but my animals as well. The only way I knew my payment had been returned was because the water company came to my home. I had no idea the payment had been returned. However, after the Water Company came to my home I received an email from the third party payment company the water company uses that the item was returned. I have reviewed Chase 's terms and agreements and no where does it say a customer is NOT to be notified by the bank when items are returned. When I contacted Chase they told me I should keep better track of my ledger. ( XXXX? ) I do keep a ledger, which is how I noticed the payment never came through my account via online banking account transactions. Again, Chase did not charge me an NSF fee, however, they never notified me the payment was returned.

Complaint: XX/XX/2019- I was notified through my credit reporting service that Chase Bank is reporting me as late for XX/XX/2019. I made 2 payments that month. XX/XX/XXXX for {$230.00} made over the phone. XX/XX/XXXX - From email from Chase advising me the payment posted. I did not notice For some reason the payment never hit my bank account. I did not notice {$230.00} still in my bank account. Chase failed to alert me the payment did not go through. They have a messaging system through the app and as of today, there is no messages about this payment. I paid them. Not sure what they did with the payment information. I pay every month the same way and never had an issue.

Complaint: With out notice J.P. Morgan Chase restricted my account by my debit card Tuesday XX/XX/2019. On Thursday XX/XX/2019 I went into A branch after being advised by a customer service representative that my account would actually be closed. I went into the branch to see how I can remove the funds that are in there currently in as well as if my direct deposit from my place of employment would be returned. The bank associate and the customer service representative assured me that the funds would Post but they may take an additional business day. That Saturday I attempted to go inside of a branch yet again to retrieve my funds that actually did post on Friday, XX/XX/2019. Upon looking at my account I realize that the funds have been reversed and no longer were present on my current statement. Ive been called and I was told that it may take two business day stating Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX would be the date that my funds would be available to withdraw from a bank teller only. Now, Chase is informing me that I will be mailed a check into the three business days to recover the funds that are owed to me and left in my account currently. Unfortunately, This has put me in an additional financial bind do two fees from late rent late car payments, etc. I am not being a short or giving written notice that these things will actually occur so that I have peace of mind in fact Chase has handled my situation grossly I even had a bank teller inform me that my account looks suspicious after giving me a suspicious look myself. Although I know that Chase reserves the right to close my account at any time I do believe that their protocol has been in the past to give notice in the form of a written document. I am not being a shored or giving written notice that these things will actually occur so that I have peace of mind in fact Chase has handled my situation grossly I even had a bank teller inform me that my account looks suspicious after giving me a suspicious look myself. Although I know that Chase reserves the right to close my account at any time I do believe that their protocol has been in the past to give notice in the form of a written document. This situation is truly affecting my livelihood and they dont seem to want to deal with Me professionally. Thank you

Complaint: I was searching for concert tickets to XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/19 on XXXX. I emailed one of the posts and provided my phone number. The XXXX person who posted the ad contacted me via text messaging. He asked for me to send the money for the tickets and he would then send me the tickets via email. I sent the money and the person who claimed to be " XXXX XXXX '' disappeared. I was never sent the tickets and his phone number was disconnected and his ad was removed. The XXXX Ad was post ID XXXX.

Complaint: I would like for you to look at the fees Ive been charged since 2017 till now. Ive sent you some statements but not sure if it was correct. Ive been extremely stressed out especially this month with Chase. I am unable to pay my rent. I am behind 2 car Payment. My car insurance my bill. Since XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I receive SS check of XXXX It was eaten away Since XXXX total of XXXX And sine the beginning of the year till XXXX Sum of XXXX out of that only XXXX has been refunded. With 3 over draft fees XXXX its enough to set me back for days. I work for XXXX XXXX I cant catch up to the total amount because when I deposit money I also have to keep using the card because I have to keep working. I cant open another account to hold off on getting fees. At least be able to eat and keep working having to put gas. So thats why you see all those fees. With the money i make with XXXX and the way chase charges. And if its on the weekend.some fees keep spreading even more even if I had enough money to cover them Monday. Some charges wont reflect day to day of them clearing. So I dont know if its Chase or the merchant Delaying the days for some to post 3 days after the original perches. Because of chase I am getting evicted I may loos my car. And with out work and be homeless. It should be illegal. Besides unethical inhuman And plane out wrong for a bank institution to be allowed in-rich them selfs with the hard working people who live paycheck to paycheck They become more profitable by there practices.. the banks borrow millions and millions of dollars to weather people and go bankrupt. But still have money. But banks Feed on the poor to make up for those bankruptcy. Because there more of us to profit then there to try to get money from the rich people.

Complaint: Paid for two concert tickets by XXXX XXXX with my Chase visa debit/credit card. The purchase was made XX/XX/19 at XXXX. We discovered the tickets were frauds at the venue and contacted Chase at XXXX to institute a claim. They were very brief on the phone and were not interested in any of the information that we had available and offered to provide to help with their investigation. We received a letter from chase today stating that " we found the transaction was processed correctly or was authorized ''. The letter additionally states they will be deducting the {$150.00} from my account on or after XX/XX/19. What I find interesting is that Chase has the transaction date as XX/XX/19 which indicates that they had time to cancel the payment but did nothing to protect my interests. What is even more weird is that no one from Chase ever contacted us for any additional information or documentation. How did they conduct an investigation???

Complaint: On multiple occasions Chase has waited to debit smaller transactions from my account until a rent check has overdrawn the account so multiple overdraft fees can be charged. For example, they waited to post 4 transactions, that showed as debited from the account but pending, until my {$1500.00} rent check cleared on XX/XX/19. After the check cleared the 4 transactions posted and the charges me the maximum 3 overdraft fees. They have 3 more waiting to post and historically these transactions have not remained in pending for multiple days but there is a pattern of Chase clearing debits to charge fees. This happened last month as well when they hit my account for over 10 overdraft fees

Complaint: Approximately XX/XX/XXXX 16 I spoke with a representative of Chase Business credit cards and asked if my business could not keep up with the payments would it show up on my personnel credit report? The representative said that it would not go on my personnel credit report but on the business as it was a business card but I would still be responsible for paying the balance. I said I under stood. and accepted the card. I spoke with the credit reporting group at Chase, their response was that they did not care what the representative said that they would not work with me to resolve it.

Complaint: I ordered 2 vitamins from different companies, 1. XXXX and 2. XXXX XXXX. They billed my checking account, XXXX, card XXXX, for {$4.00} and XXXX XXXX , {$4.00} on XX/XX/2019, and that was ok. I called to their numbers, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX , XXXX and cancelled, they insist on you staying on, but I said all I wanted was my introductory offer, I do not order these anymore because of this trickery. They also do not send confirmation emails. Then I notice on my checking online charges of, 1. XXXX, $ {$93.00} 2. XXXX, {$93.00} on XX/XX/2019, I immediately called to me bank and filed a dispute, they credited my account or blocked my account, because unfortunately I lost the card these companies had information on and one after that, but I found the one after that but it was too late and I have the card that followed after that today.So XX/XX/2019, Chase Bank wrote up the dispute, credited my account and began their investigation. I thought for sure they would find in my favor as the company didnt take longer than a week and a half to bill my account, it reached my bank for charge 2 week XXXX the XXXX to XXXX before the XXXX when they sent their billing and I had unfortuanately lost that card and then one after that, so they were on standby for no other reason but my misfortune.So I get a letter from Chase Bank dated XX/XX/2019, that they had completed their investigation and had found the transaction was processed correctly. I remembered your agency when I worked for CA Consumer Affairs, I told Chase I was suing them in small claims court, the manager kept asking are you going to sue Chase Bank and then I remembered you guys who oversee this type of business, so I'm bringing it to you guys, I do not believe that Chase acted correctly as they stated, these companies provide no documentation of cancellation, i CALLED THEM AGAIN AND GOT CONFIRMATION I WAS CANCELLED, Please have these companies or Chase reimburse my monies, 1. XXXX, $ {$93.00} and 2. XXXX XXXX, {$93.00} on XX/XX/2019, thank you.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019and XX/XX/XXXX, I was a victim of a housing fraud ( I lost a total of {$2600.00} : {$1300.00} for the first month 's rent, paid XX/XX/19and {$1300.00} for the security deposit, paid XX/XX/19) perpetrated by a man posing as " XXXX XXXX ''. He showed me what appeared to be a legitimate apartment sublease in XXXX XXXX, California on a housing listing site and used what appeared to be his Driver 's License to prove his identity. He also handed me what appeared to be a legitimate housing contract, signed and notarized by a personal agent named XXXX XXXX XXXX. He then directed me to make XXXX payments to XXXX XXXX, a person who he claimed was his girlfriend. He noted to me that he would mail me the keys. All this turned out to be a fraud when 3-5 days later, the keys never appeared at my house. I tried contacting him after this to no avail ; he refused to send me the keys and then stopped responding to any of my messages. I contacted Chase Bank by phone to attempt to have the charges reversed, but one week later they told me that nothing could be done on their end. They would not tell me the name of the recipient 's bank, even though they insinuated that they knew the name. They also told me that because the payment was made through XXXX, it could not be reversed or tracked. I find this extremely misleading because Chase advertises XXXX on their homepage and on my bank account dashboard as a safe and regular means to pay bills, as if it was like a regular checking or savings account or debit/credit card payment. There is no fine print warning users of the lack of traceability or potential for XXXX to be used for scams. I did give the man a copy of my driver 's license. Once I found out this was a scam I immediately went to my local DMV to deactivate this license and apply for a new one. I have subsequently submitted full reports to agencies such as the California Dept. of Justice, XXXX 's fraud line, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the FTC, and reported the incident to the local police ( XXXX XXXX County Sheriff 's Office ). None have been able to retrieve the {$2600.00} nor find the individual responsible thus far, although they have noted to me that my information may add to a body of evidence that will eventually find the perpetrator. I also put a credit alert on my file in case the perpetrator tried to open a credit line in my name. The {$2600.00} I lost was a very large sum of money that made a significant negative impact on my budgets for the next year. I was severely distressed by this incident because I was working hard over the past year to be able to save money to eventually go to law school and make rent payments on the next apartment I end up leasing. If I could get the {$2600.00} payment reversed by Chase Bank, it would help to pay for future rents and save for future schooling, and I would be very grateful. I am contacting the CFPB to see if they can ask Chase Bank to reverse the charge and delve deeper to see if they can find more information about who and where the money was sent to. Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate it.

Complaint: I recieved my back pay of almost 30000 usd I got XXXX in cashiers checks and after buying a vehical and some online purchases that I returned a loan company made bad deposits and I got charged for them the chase bank closed my account with a remainder of at the least XXXX usd still in there and didn't give me the rest of my money plus this loan company has followed me from wells Fargo to chase bank to key bank and is still calling saying now that they are the us government grant department and I got approved for a loyalty grant of XXXX usd which is about the amount they have stolen from me over about a ten year period. I would really like to get my money back and I have made police reports and they haven't done anything please help me out
