Complaint: XX/XX/2018 I disputed a collection account that claimed I owed for pet severe damage to a carpet in the sum of {$1900.00} reported by a collection company called I.Q. Data. I had issues uploading supporting documents to XXXX showing that my son and I are both allergic to pets. There is also proof in my lease agreement that I never owned pets. I was ever fined or charged any pets fees over the course of my stay at the apartment. I was finally able to upload documents XX/XX/2018 yet XXXX will not reinvestigate I had even called a spoke with someone personally XX/XX/2018 and he said they would reinvestigate and the investigation was complete the next day. If XXXX doesnt resolve they will be included in my lawsuit against the debt collector and the original creditor. Prior to all of this we tried resolving with original creditor and in return were ignored and sent to collections, tried to explain to collection agency, and now XXXX has failed to do their investigation properly. As you will also see I have proof that we did a walk through with the apartment, they told us we didnt need to clean the carpet as they have a professional carpet cleaning company. During the walkthrough they mentioned NOTHING about the carpet needing to be replaced, yet replaced the entire carpet when we moved out. I have attached photos.

I went to the apartment community, and arranged a settlement with them to resolve the outstanding balance back in early XXXX of 2018. I am attaching a copy of the arrangement that was made, as well as the proof or payment/receipt, to show the debt was resolved. You can confirm the resolution of this debt with the apartment manager. Her name is XXXX XXXX, and her phone number is XXXX. A collection agency named IQ Data International is reporting to XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX XXXX, that I still have an outstanding balance owed to XXXX XXXX. I have tried for four months to get this collection agency to report this debt as resolved, or remove the account from my credit report ; but they refuse to do so. I am also attaching a snap-shot of my XXXX credit report as of today ; which shows that they are still reporting the debt as unpaid. I am calling upon your organization to help correct this situation.

The first lady on the phone seemed nice and acted as if she was understanding the situation that my old apartment complex had put me in. She tried to tell me about laws regarding age of carpet and charges to tenants. Then her supervisor XXXX got on the phone and was yelling at me about how I needed to give them my credit card information right away or else it would show up negatively against me. I let her know that I did not feel comfortable giving out that information and she proceeded to tell at me about how i was refusing to pay. I repeated that I was disputing the charges and she hung up on me. The company still has yet to investigate my dispute.

I received 6 calls on my personal line XX/XX/2018 with no voicemails to call anyone back. This is inappropriate and I would like the calls to stop. I know someone who worked there for a short time and left because of the way they are instructed to harass people and talk to them as though they are garbage. I know they have violated the law by calling my employer a second time after being informed not to. I would like this formal complaint followed through and further action taken against this company. They pride themselves on being bullies, harassing behavior, and intimidation.

Complaint: I moved out of my apartment in late XXXX, I emailed the apartment complex asking how much I owed so I can start to make payments which they said was available to do. Anyways they said they would mail me the exact amount. I just received the amount in the mail a couple of days ago and before I could even go make a payment I got a call today on XX/XX/2018 from IQ data International collections. They asked if they were speaking too XXXX I said yes who am I speaking too? They stated I owed {$2600.00} and some change. I said ok I didn't think this was going to go to collections since I just moved out and was waiting to hear how much I owed from the apartment complex. I then proceeded to ask if I can make payments because I did not have it in full at this time. Immediately the girl got a attitude and was being very unprofessional. They said I could not make payments. So I hung up and called back, asked to speak with a manager. The manager was not available but I spoke with somebody else anyway, I tried to complain about the person I had spoken too before hand but he threw what I had to say to the side like it was no big deal. He said he could try to fill out a form that may be able to extend when my full payment was due so that it would not get reported to the credit bureaus. He asked me a lot of personal information about where I work, where my boyfriend works, how much money we make, where we live, if we have dependents, how much my credit card limits were, what kind of credit cards I had, how much money I had open on my credit cards, the name of the company we work for, etc. After everything he said he might be able to help me if I make a payment today. I said sure I can only do {$100.00} today. He then forwarded me to his. manager who was extremely rude and mean. I then at this point think he scammed me into releasing all this information for their benefits. Told me he did not want my {$100.00} that I owe {$2600.00} and to give him the full payment I tried to explain hey I don't have that right now theres no way I can make that payment today I have rent to pay and etc. I said I would have to talk to my boyfriend and work some sort of payment plan out. That was not good enough for them. It was almost like I had been dodging them for months and didn't want to pay them. When this was the first time I had ever spoke to them in my life. At the end of the call I was so tired of arguing I just told him you know what you keep demanding the payment I told you I can only do {$100.00} at this time and if you don't want that because its not good enough I'm not going to keep arguing with you when I simply do not even have XXXX in my bank account to give you. I told him do what you have to do and report me to the credit bureaus because at this point there is nothing I can do about it. Ill pay it when I have it in full since I can't do payments. I have never in my life been treated like this by any company. They were very argumentative. I was to the point where after the phone call I was in tears. All I want to do is pay them off so I never have to speak to them again. But I also wish they would have more respect for people they are talking too, so that nobody has to deal with what I did today.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from IQ Data International, advising me I owed a debt of {$13000.00} - related to a personal guaranty I signed on a lease for a business. This corporation ceased operations in XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I faxed a note to IQ Data, advising them of the Release of XXXX, signed XX/XX/XXXX - and included the First Amendment to the Lease - highlighting the sections where my personal XXXX was released. On XX/XX/XXXX, IQ Data continued to pursue me for this debt that I had demonstrated I had no guaranty for - and I faxed a Cease and Desist notice to them. They have abided by the Desist letter - except for fraudulently reporting this debt as a derogatory remark to XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed the derogatory remark on my personal Credit report and faxed a letter to XXXX asking they remove it. I included the information provided to IQ data, and the First Ammendment to the Lease removing the personal Guaranty. On XX/XX/XXXX, It seemed XXXX hadn't removed the derogatory remark - so I faxed a followup, this time including a XXXX County Court result - showing that in XX/XX/XXXX, the original ebt holder tried to sue me for these debts - and the Court found the case was non-suited ( i.e. it was unfounded and thrown out ). I hoped with this court result would assist XXXX in correcting their error and removing the derogatory remark. ( Court Case Number : XXXX ) By XX/XX/XXXX, neither IQ data nor XXXX had responded or changed their derogatory remarks, so I had a lawyer send a letter of demand to IQ data to remove the derogatory remark. It has been 10 days since that letter was sent, and no response has been received from IQ Data.

They continuously would come into our residence when we were not present with out our permission and we ( my husband and I ) did not feel safe so we moved out. Complaint: This company continuously refuses to provide me proof of debt and refuses to provide their companies lawyers name. Ive requested proof of debt 3 times now and have yet to have this fraudulent account validated. I first spoke to a rep who I thought sounded like XXXX XXXX ( she refused to spell her name ) and she claimed she was going to mail proof- then the manager XXXX XXXX she transferred me to after once hanging up on me refused to mail it then continuously repeated every single question I asked but never answered it. She claimed she didnt have to mail me the proof which is not abiding by the FDCPA. Looking at other complaints I can see this is their pattern. They do not have any solid proof this fraudulent account is mine and they do not even have my information correctly. They do not have my social - they do not have any information this is my account, and they refuse to answer my disputes. I already disputed this debt 3 times and they never responded. She accused me of not knowing how to dispute an account even though I disputed it through the appropriate channels with all 3 major credit bureaus. The manager and representative were highly unprofessional, refused to provide any information, and I demand proof of debt or to have this account deleted. I have this all on recording and will be looking into further action if I do not receive what I asked for.
