Complaint: I have disputed this collection account 3 times and ARS has refused to send me any documentation concerning this debt- I have enclosed copies of the initial dispute sent through Consumer Financial Protection Bureau XXXX XXXX dated XXXX. ARS stated they did not have any records or any files for this account. Ars stated they could not even locate the account- Please explain why this file or account was not able to be located XXXX? ARS stated they sent out debt collection letters XXXX, XXXX and XXXX - I am requesting copies of these letters and documents created by ARS to be uploaded with the response to this complaint and a mailed copy be sent to me for my records ARS has not provided any documents that the company XXXX XXXX XXXX gave them rights to collect this debt OR any bills or accounting showing how this debt came to be- Please upload copies of these documents through the Consumer Financial Protection bureau and mail a copy to me for my records ARS has refused to provide copies of bills, Judgement or any accounting of amount ARS claim is owed- I have never received copies of anything Ars has not provided the name and complete address to creditor- There was no address listed in prior response- The name listed on the credit report is XXXX XXXX XXXX not XXXX XXXX This is a violation**** FDCP section 809 ( 5 ) I was not given a complete address of original creditor in my prior complaint ( CFPB # XXXX ) and FCRA I believe ARS is using Unfair Collection Practices and are in violation of FCRA section 808 ( 1 )

Complaint: HRRG called my wife 's phone threating to hurt her credit. When I was on the phone with the lady I asked for Verification before proceeding with any communication. The Lady told me that she is not sending any more letter which is a violation. This company is harassing without proper verification. Without any verification any attempts to place any negative item on my wife credit is a violation.

Complaint: I have complained 2 times through the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau that I have disputed and re quested debt validation from ARS for a collection they have placed on my credit report that should be deleted. On XXXX ( CFPB XXXX ) I requested debt validation and ARS responded that they could not located the account. I re requested validation on XXXX ( CFPB XXXX ) and ARS stated they were requesting documentation from the original creditor to stall again. ARS is not in compliance with FDCPA 809 ( a ) ( 3 ) ( 4 ) ( 5 ) and 809 ( b ) are in violation of this law they do not have debt validation on this amount that they claim. They have denied me access to information purposely and should cease collection until further debt is verified and ARS has not been able to do. The initial debt verification request was XXXX and it was denied- there should not be a need to request verification for documents that should be available by now- Please explain how this account was not able to be located. I also would like copies of all documentation mailed out on this account

Complaint: Account Resolution Services XXXX XXXX XXXX, FL XXXX XXXX ARS Collections Inc reported an unpaid medical cost to XXXX in the amount of {$1100.00}. This was a portion of a medical cost associated with a VA benefits issue which ultimately the VA would not cover. I was only made aware of this in XX/XX/XXXX by US mail from ARS advising me of it and that unless it was settled it would be eligible for credit reporting. Yet it appears that ARS reported the unpaid medical cost to XXXX in XXXX before making me aware of the problem according to both my XXXX XXXX credit score account and my XXXX XXXX account. Regardless, I owed this amount since the VA would not cover that portion of the medical bill. Upon becoming aware of it through XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX when my hard earned credit score was dinged by 73 points, I immediately contacted XXXX with ARS Collections and paid the full amount on XX/XX/XXXX. In addition, I was told by XXXX at ARS on XX/XX/XXXX that ARS would report the payment and debt satisfaction to all ( 3 ) major credit reporting agencies within 24-48 hours and that I would receive notification of same from ARS in writing within 7-10 days. Neither of those events has happened which I have confirmed with the 3 major reporting agencies and having spoken a 2nd time on XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX at ARS Collections who confirmed that no letter of satisfaction had been sent and that they only reported debt satisfactions at the end of of each month. For over 30 years I was a " cash only ' consumer, no credit cards and I had no debts. I owned my home, my vehicles, have always paid all my service providers on or before their due dates. In late 2017 at the encouragement of a financial advisor, I applied for and received an equity loan against my home to establish a credit score which previously was '0 ' with no negative or positive history XXXX a ghost they told me. Since being given the equity loan and having paid that mortgage prior to each months due date, my credit score had risen to just short of 650. Not great but certainly a start in the right direction and credit card companies were just starting to solicit me with offers of guaranteed lines of credit at various interest rates. This is the way it is in America today. Middle class Americans working hard, trying to improve themselves while the financial and credit systems continue to beat them down. As as veteran I have always supported my country and believed it to be # 1 in the world. That opinion is changing as I continue to nurture my wisdom in my later years of life with " wide open eyes '' from many years of life experiences and seeing the changing realities of America today.

Complaint: I have been disputing this account since I first received notice from the credit bureaus that it was being reported on my credit report. On XX/XX/2019 I sent letters to XXXX asking that they validate not verify the debt that they are attempting to collect from me and derogatorily reporting on my credit reports. I specifically requested signed contracts or other supporting documentation. No matter what I request ( validation of the debt, proof of amount, or proof they are authorized to collect debt ) they simply respond with a form letter that debt is valid and attaching a copy of a single bill. XXXX is in full violation of the FCRA by failing to verify the account. I've requested I be sent physical proof that the account belonged to me. Instead, they've chosen to just send me a copy of a bill. This is not acceptable. A copy of a bill or a statement of monies due does not constitute verification or validation of debt. FCRA states there must be a tangible contract provided to me upon my request that bears my signature, showing that I am responsible for the account. Without that, there is no contract, no valid claim. If validation can not be established, I respectfully request XXXX remove to remove the account inaccurate, derogatory reporting from the credit bureaus and cease any efforts to re-report the debt through illegal practices in the future. The document you sent me is not bill, do not have my signature on it.

Complaint: Medical Claim from date of service : XX/XX/XXXX for {$980.00}. Was not informed of this debt until XX/XX/XXXX when debt was placed on credit report,. Debt collector Account Resolution Services, could not provide proof I was informed of this debt, no correspondence has been received, certified or otherwise. Representative from Account Resolution Services stated insurance did not cover claim and I owed the full amount. Contacted insurance, XXXX, which stated claim was denied because provider billed claim incorrectly, without a modifier. XXXX also claimed the provider rebilled it, again incorrectly. Contacted provider ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) 's billing service, XXXX, which stated appeal was sent in XXXX, but insurance did not pay, or respond. Contacted XXXX, they stated there was no record of an appeal. Contacted XXXX, they stated the ONLY way for re-submission is for me, the paitent, to have a conference call with an insurance representative and the billing provider, XXXX 's representative, claim would be appealed and resubmitted, and paid within 30 days. Contacted insurance, XXXX after 30 days, insurance stated appeal was voided by provider. Contacted XXXX, as well as Account Resolution Services, representatives from both companies could not find records of any appeal being sent to XXXX, or any appeal voided by them. Contacted Account Resolution Services as well as XXXX multiple times in XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX attempting to view, or see medical billing records, or to have claim resubmitted. XXXX stated they will not re-submit claim and that XXXX does not have my medical billing records, Account Resolution Services has all records for account. Account Resolution stated multiple times they do not have records and can only send me statement stating amount that I owed. Account Resolution Services stated they will not re-submit claim, provider has to re-submit claim. Sent certified letter requesting full and complete medical billing records to review them, in order to file this complaint for incorrectly sending me to collections, when XXXX billed the claim incorrectly, on XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX ( tracking number : XXXX ), XXXX ( tracking number : XXXX ), and Account Resolution Services ( tracking number : XXXX ). Did not receive any correspondence, certified or otherwise, or phone calls in return. I have been unable to contact the provider ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). Account Resolution Services and XXXX both refused to re-submit this claim, or claimed they re-submitted it with the insurance having no record of this. The companies Account Resolution Services and XXXX also both tried to have me pay the full amount multiple times, without the insurance paying their part, another possible breach in their contract with XXXX. The billing provider ( XXXX ), as well as Account Resolution Services, refuse to acknowledge that the claim was billed incorrectly on their part, was never followed up on in XXXX, and now in XXXX, refuse to resubmit the claim they incorrectly submitted, send me pertinent medical billing records, as required under HIPPA laws. Separate complaints have been filed with HIPPA for non-compliance of medical billing records.

As per the ( FCRA ), a creditor is supposed to response and no attempt to collect until they have responded. However, this creditor has not responded and is still attempting to collect, which is in violation of the FCRA. However, the creditor did not send the required information and is still reporting to the credit bureaus, which is in violation of the FCRA. My next step is to contact a consumer protection attorney unless the matter is resolved here.
