Complaint: i tried to apply for a loan and was told i had a returned check for {$25.00}. i applied at the only bank i use and they know ive never had a returned check so we are both cconfused as to why this is on my report? i also contacted the supposed place i had the returned check and they looked into their records for this time frame and they have no record of any returned checks. this is an obvious error.

Complaint: I finally received the report on XXXX XXXX XXXX. Neither me nor the bank understands what the report means, or why I have a low score. Nothing in the report indicates why I would be a high risk client for a checking account.
I would like my record to be completely expunged from ChexSystems by no later than XXXX XXXX, XXXX ( 30 days since requesting the report ). If not, I will be forced to hire a lawyer to investigate ChexSystem 's compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and file a dispute for each false claim by ChexSystems.

Complaint: Was trying to cash a small check and was denied. Called Certegy and disputed the charge that they had on file which was dropped. Very concerned since its my State I 'd # bit not my check.

Problem getting my free annual report
Complaint: I have made repeated attempts to obtain my consumer report. Chex Systems Inc has failed to respond in an appropriate fashion.
After failing to open an account with Simple.com and XXXX XXXX Checking due to my Chex Systems score, I ordered my report online. I contacted them via phone on XXXX XXXX 2016 and was informed that the report would be sent the next day. I called again on XXXX XXXX 2016 and told them that I had n't received the report - the agent said they would send another one later that afternoon. No explanation as to why I had n't received the first report was given. I called once more on XXXX XXXX 2016 and was informed that the report had n't been sent on the afternoon of XXXX XXXX as promised. It turned out that the agent I spoke to on XXXX XXXX had lied to me. However, they claimed to have sent it earlier that day ( XXXX XXXX ). They 've outsourced their customer service to XXXX, and it 's impossible to get in touch with anyone who 's actually involved with the company. I 've insisted on them giving me a tracking number for the report, as evidence that they 're actually sending it.
I have a very high credit score and my banking record is very clean. I 'm not, and never have, been in debt. I can only assume that they 're reluctant to send me my report because there they are unable to validate the false claims. This is clearly in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and I will pursue this in the courts, if this is not cleared up very soon.
Please remove my banking record from Chex Systems with immediate effect.

Complaint: I am filing a complaint because I received a call today from my XXXX brother that has the same name saying that he has been denied opening an account because there is information being provided to the institution with our name and my social security number XXXX They are explaining to him that since we have similar information our files are being linked. I have never conducted business with XXXX XXXX and the address reported with the account is a fraudulent address that was being used to obtain credit in my name. I have filed several police reports on this identity theft issue and chex systems has copies of all reports filed. This account shows it was reported last year when the fraud had occurred. This needs to be removed from my file immediately as it is not mine. My file should also not be mixed with my XXXX brother as our socials are completely different and we do not share the same address. as you can see on the report that was provided to my brother they input his information and they provided the institution with the fraudulent account with my social.

Complaint: In XXXX 2013, I became a XXXX. During this time, my daughter and I shared an account through XXXX. During XXXX of my " XXXX '' I deposited some Mailbox Coupons into the XXXX account as cash, I do n't even remember this happening : ( XXXX contacted me immediately and with the utmost embarrassment, I went into the local branch to clear up my mistake. I received a lecture from an account representative, paid the money that I owed, and had the account closed. I was assured that because I resolved it immediately there would be no repercussions other than the sheer embarrassment of the situation in front of town 's people and my daughter, I stopped XXXX. Here we are over 2 years later and I am working really hard to get my credit up and stick to a stringent budget. This is when I learn XXXX has reported " XXXX '' on XXXX/XXXX/13 and the closure status is " not reported. '' This is on my credit report, is keeping me from opening a bank account, and simply not right considering I was told there would not be anything reported in regards to banking or me. Granted I know I made a horrendous mistake and I tried to make amends as quickly as possible. I wish it had never happened but it did and I do n't think I should have to continue to pay for this error especially when I was told I would not have to over 2 years ago.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX uses Certegy Check Services, " Certegy '', to provide a recommendation to process a check for deposit. Every month, for over 12 months, I have written and deposited a {$100.00} check into my sister 's XXXX account via remote deposit. This month, due to a computer algorithm that no one understands, Certegy recommended to decline my check for deposit, twice. Upon calling Certegy ( call reference # XXXX ), and providing approval as the payee, the company has no way to override a computer decision. There are more than enough significant funds available in my account, and I 've written the check and given my approval for deposit, yet Certegy is allowed to reject transactions without manual override. As a payee, I feel that Certegy has no legal right to reject a transaction against my account that I explicitly approve and have sufficient funds for.

Complaint: The reason I am complaining to day is because I went to XXXX XXXX union to close on a loan and when they went to establish membership for me and got a copy of my chexsystems file they denied me based on information that they received from Chexsystems. XXXX is saying that there is an account with XXXX XXXX reporting a {$52.00} charge off. I have never conducted business with this company and I called them to verify with my social if they have me in there system? and they had no record of any account with my social. I contacted the chex systems phone number and gave the representative my information and he was able to pull up my file but found no record of any account reporting a charge off in my name. The bank is requesting a letter from chex systems stating that their are no negative charge offs showing on my report. Chex systems is telling me they will be mailing me my file but this is not going to help me as I am on a time limit in approval for this loan that I have been approved. My father and my brother carry the same name and I am afraid that my information might be getting mixed when financial institutions pull my file. This needs to be addressed with chexsystems.

Complaint: XXXX I attempted to purchase {$170.00} worth of materials from XXXX in XXXX, TN using my business check issued by the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The check was declined by Certegy Check Services. I called Certegy Check Services from XXXX and was asked if I wanted to be placed on their VIP List. The Certegy rep said this may or may not allow the check to be accepted. I said yes. He said wait 10 minutes and try to run the check through again. I did twice ; the check was declined XXXX times. I requested a copy of the declination from Certegy Check Services. It indicates that Certegy already approved XXXX previous checks from my business checking account totaling {$600.00}. Yet Certegy declined my check for {$170.00}. They only stated that my check " matched a high-risk pattern, our automated system provided a less than favorable recommendation. '' The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is a valid institution. My business is licensed by the State of Tennessee. There were ample funds in my business checking account to cover the amount of purchase from XXXX ( {$170.00} ). Even Certegy 's records indicated that they had previously approved XXXX checks from my business totaling {$600.00}. How can another check from my business be considered high risk by Certegy 's automated system?
Bottom line. Certegy Check Services has apparently not straightened out their act as a result of the XX/XX/XXXX FTC lawsuit file against Certegy Check Services.

Complaint: Perusing my ChexSystems report, I noticed an incorrect address. I wrote to ChexSystems and asked them to remove the incorrect address. ChexSystems responded stating that the address in question was submitted by a financial institution associated with my account. This is not true. Although, " XXXX XXXX Bank '' is listed on my report, I have never had XXXX XXXX bank account, nor have I ever wanted one. The address " XXXX XXXX ... '' should be removed, along with " XXXX XXXX '' from my ChexSystems bank report.

Complaint: My husband and I tried to cash a check from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( my husbands work credit union ) at XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/2016. It was declined. I came home and called the credit union and they assured me that the check was good. We tried again at XXXX ( our bank is closed on Saturdays ), again the check was declined. I have called Certegy customer service over and over again. I have never spoken to a live person. All I ever get is a recording and then I am put on hold. Endless hold, for hours at a time. My husband and I never write checks, we use a debit card all the time. The only thing that I can figure out is that we do n't meet Certegy 's criteria, because we do n't write checks. What in the world does that have to do with us cashing a check?? This seems terribly unfair to me that we are being punished and unable to cash a check at a business that offers check cashing just because we do not write a lot of checks. It is horrible that they can decline to cash your check and they do n't have to tell you why. This seems illegal to me.
