Complaint: I attempted to open an account with XXXX XXXX as my fianc is a member ; however, I was denied stating my reputation had been tarnished by a previous bank. So, I ordered my ChexSystems report and found an account reporting by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$1100.00}. I have no knowledge of this debt. The last time I used XXXX was before I was XXXX to a XXXX XXXX. However, prior to going to XXXX, my account was NEVER delinquent, and I made sure of that. I Received a refund check from the State of Georgia for stolen property by the XXXX. I deposited the check into my account, adding to the existing balance to total more than {$2000.00}. I had a rental for a few weeks, so the cost was exceeding ( {$1100.00} ) however, I knew my account would cover it. After I deposited the check, I never had a chance to check my account account again because shortly after, I was XXXX. From XXXX, I went to XXXX for three years. So, if there were any discrepancies with the account, I HAD NO KNOWLEDGE. When I got out of XXXX, all the mail had accumulated at my mothers home. None of the mail was from XXXX XXXX about a past due balance.

Complaint: Hello, My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX and I have been disputing with Chex Systems for multiple years now. I have tried to reach out and speak with them on the phone and all that happens Is that I receive a copy of the report they have on file. I am now XXXX XXXX XXXX and messed up as a young adult with checking accounts to where I had to file bankruptcy. I have a good career in customer service now and am in the middle of a chapter XXXX and filed a chapter XXXX when I was XXXX. I thought everything was cleared up since, I did file on the banks. A lot of time has passed now, many years but, chex systems is still reporting bad things about me when it comes to me getting a credible checking account. I can not go through a credit union or checking account. I have tried to go to multiple credit unions, and banks to where they always tell me chex systems is still showing a XXXX XXXX under my maiden name XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX for NSF. Account number ending in XXXX RTN XXXX under my social ending in XXXX. I did not live at this address since XXXX. I had a XXXX account that I paid in full while living in Kentucky and they advised me that I am settled. There is another account with XXXX XXXX RTN XXXX account number ending in XXXX NSF XXXX stating PAID IN FULL. I have tried to get accounts with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, University of XXXX, and other banks with credit unions. Not a single one will give a checking account because they state that I need to have chex systems cleared. No one at Chex Systems will help me. I am trying to buy a home for my XXXX XXXX and fix my credit. Please, help me get Chex systems cleared in full.

Complaint: I have been a victim of identity theft. I have filed police reports in GA with my local department regarding these occurrences. I have been able to remove most of the damage done to my credit report but third party companies, such as ChexSystems and XXXX XXXX XXXX have a XXXX XXXX XXXX checking account closed listed in my name and ssn which was closed around XX/XX/2017 due to an unpaid amount of {$2400.00}. I never opened an account there.

Complaint: FCRA section 605B is very cleaner on how a CRA is supposed to act.
Chex systems very specifically is breaking the law, on how identity theft reports are supposed to be formatted. The FTC has a specific form for identity theft that is compiled on identity theft laws.
Chex systems feels they can add new items that the identity theft forms must contain, ie. signed manually and not electronically.
I specifically went to the XXXX County sheriff 's department and their clerk certified, notarized and signed the police report that I had gotten from the FTC. This did not suffice and so I sent in the signature of the woman that is the head of the identity theft unit. This still did not suffice. Me the victim has to do more work because they rewrite Congress 's laws illegally and then I have to perform more duties.
I now had the senior deputy of the sheriff 's department of XXXX County and he signed it and put his badge number and his phone number on my police report and I am including that in this filing. Check systems needs to be stopped because they are making the victum more of a victim because of their unlawful and the illegal changing of the law and their policies. They have to have their policies comply with the law not change the law.

For the following Accounts below : XXXX XXXX XXXX/CHARGE OFF RTN/ACCT # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX/CHARGE OFF RTN/ACCT # XXXX CASE LAW : Peterson Vs Experian. Richardson v. Equifax Information Services, LLC et al, Cushman Vs TransUnion. All the courts merely said that The Credit Bureaus Can Not pair information from the Creditors and Collectors. They have to do and conduct a reasonable investigation on their own. Which means that ChexSystems just can't use the E-Oscar System because its not considered reasonable. ChexSystems can not just say that we went to the Creditor and/or Collectors and got this information and " they said that its verified '' and " we can say that its verified ''. No!
I'm sure that you are aware that the FCRA, allows damages up to {$1000.00} per each violation.
I am prepared to sue under the FCRA for non-compliance if this matter isn't handled amicably in ( 15 days ).
And send me another credit report.

As such when I try to open a new bank account it comes up as my account as being flagged for outstanding amount owed that needs to be paid in full in order to open a new account. And some banks have a policy that if a person is flagged in the ChexSystem that the person can not open an account for two years! All of this because of false information!! Not good! Not Fair! Not honest business practices!!

Complaint: On XX/XX/2017, someone open a checking account without my authorization. The account was an abuse account and which end up owing XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX {$2900.00}. I have filed a complaint to Chex System, but they have not responded to my complaint so i wanted to file a complaint with the Consumer Finance Protection. The Chex System reference ID : XXXX. Please check the IP address of the online application, phone number, or me personally coming to a bank branch, you will clearly see that it did not come from me or I have called them ; regarding opening this account. Now, because of this fraudulent activity is making it impossible for me open any type of bank accounts. I want this to be removed from Chex System immediately on false allegation.
