Complaint: I paid this loan off in XXXX 2015. They processed a payment after the loan was taken out. I asked for a refund of the payment. I ended up receiving the refund through XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have spoken to several different people and even sent my banking statement showing I never received a refund from them. The refuse to clear the account and it is negatively affecting my credit. I was hung up on 3 times while calling to speak to someone. I have someone arguing with me after I sent in the documentation of the what she asked. I would like this situation resolved immediately.

Complaint: I had some work done on my car XXXX/XXXX/15. 3 days later on XXXX/XXXX/2015, I was admitted to the hospital XXXX. I contacted Duvera Financial in XXXX, CA, to let them know right away, I would be XXXX and i Asked if it would affect my contract. I was told everything would be ok, due to my XXXX condition. I may only have a late fee of {$10.00} attached to my acct. NOT that I owed the Full amount of {$2800.00} on this contract, due to this 189 % interest rate, which I only had {$1200.00} worth of work done on my car. Why am i Paying an additional {$1600.00}?!? Otherwise, I could of made plans or had someone loan me the money to avoid paying this high dollar amount. I had previously done business with this company, and paid them off twice in 90 days to avoid these astronomical fee 's. I have now paid up to {$2000.00} and I just want this to be over. ; ' ( ( ( NO COMPANY should be able to charge an interest rate so high, when the economy is Not even Financially stable. ) ) This is ridiculous! I feel like i 've been punished twice, from being stuck in this contract and for being sick.

Complaint: I purchased a computer through XXXX Computers in XXXX and they pushed me to purchase the computer through Duvera Financial who was doing business as EasyPay Finance. They told me that the loan would be for 90 days and the installments would be finished within the 90 days. I recently found out that this was a lie and I am now being charged 189 % interest on my original loan. I received a contract that I had never seen or signed, but was digitally signed. Also my address on the contract is incorrect. Because of the incorrect address, which I assume was entered by the store clerk as I have never lived at that address, I had a terribly difficult time accessing my file within EasyPay Finance.

Complaint: I got financed by DUVERA finance also known as easy pay for XXXX dollars so I could buy my kids a puppy. The pet store clerk was misleading about the interest rate and when i advised i was XXXX military he assured me that would be handled appropriately. ( i should have verified before i signed the contract ) I am now paying 189 % interest on my loan. When I called duvera they were rude and said that they do not have to lower my interest rate at all and they based it all on a loop hole. The woman i spoke to said SCRA didnt apply in my case and went on about a bunch of different contracts. She even laughed and said to go ahead and speak to my legal office because they dont care im XXXX and they know the law. I paid XXXX on my loan and only XXXX has actually gone to pay off my dog. They threw a bunch of legal jargon at me that I did n't understand which was probably to confuse me and it did. I called to see what it would cost to pay off the loan next month and they gave me a balance of XXXX dollars. I am so upset with this company. I am a single mom of XXXX who is XXXX and I feel like I have been scammed and taken advantage of.

Complaint: I obtained a loan to purchase a bedroom set from a local furniture company. I had the cash on me to make the purchase but the store owner told me that I could build my credit by financing the furniture. the total was a little over XXXX and I figured I could pay that off in no time while increasing my credit score. the furniture was financed through Duvera Billing. I have made my monthly payments on time which is XXXX and checked the account and was floored to find that I still owe the same amount after 5 months of payments. I called Duvera to get more information and was appalled when the representative told me that I have an interest rate of 96 %!!! Is that even legal?? I need help! Is there a way to legally get out of this contract without affecting my credit?

Complaint: I made a payment for my installment loan via EasyPay Finance and to my surprise, it has not been processed yet. I did, however, receive a confirmation number but even then the payment has not reflected on my account after 2 days. I spoke to XXXX representatives already and only XXXX was able to help but was n't too professional either. The problem here is that if I made a payment on a certain day then it should be processed for that day. It seems to me as if EasyPay/Duvera Financial is just trying avoid payment to cause a delay purposely to see what they can get out of it. I have proof of everything I record everything I do when it comes to them for safety reasons. Anything I can do to resolve this matter?

Complaint: I was late XXXX night XX/XX/XXXX and saw XXXX XXXX XXXX for Profits. I was desperate, worried about my family and how we would survive.I was XXXX for a year at this point.
I sent for the book, which was supposed to be {$19.00} + {$9.00} s+h. When the book arrived it was XXXX. When my wife was checking the bank statement she saw several withdrawals for varying amounts, ranging from {$29.00} to {$69.00}. From different companies named XXXX which was the {$39.00}, XXXX {$29.00}, XXXX {$190.00} and XXXX for {$310.00}. for a total of {$580.00}. My wife contacted them and the response was " oops we made an error ''. XXXX XXXX 's " team, were relentless with constantly calling and harassing him to buy more and more! I put the phone on speaker to hear them and the man told me, you need to support your husband?
I said nope not in this scam I asked them not to call again.
My wife will continue from here. They kept needling away at him! The tried to convince him to spend more and more money. The bank was charged {$160.00} We tried to contact XXXX billing without fail to beg them not to give XXXX XXXX a dime, it was a scam! We were never able to reach XXXX. No answer, no callbacks to any messages left! If you look at the loan docs you will see.
Our rent is listed as XXXX. Our residency started on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Our previous address started from XXXX/XXXX/XXXX to XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. His job number is listed as XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Deny it XXXX, we have the " contract ''.
He was out of work due to illness. Our credit was shot because of extremely limited income because of health.
He was never informed about any " electronic signature '' He had given his bank card for the purchase of the book and that is what they had access to.
They were draining our bank acct. When I went over " the contract " the emailed him. I went over it with a fine tooth comb and saw there was three days to cancel.
We tried for those three days and could not reach anyone and no call backs. I went to our bank and explained everything.
They were able to put back all but the {$190.00} in the acct because it was past the time frame. I did n't know, we were trying to deal with it on our own, well I was.
They had XXXX launch an investigation and XXXX found it was an error or unauthorized transaction occurred and the refund stayed.
Meanwhile, they kept hounding him, and once they got the funds from XXXX Billing all contact stopped.
He figured well if they got money that he will have to pay back, he might as well reach them and try to get something from them. He repeatedly called, left messages and no call backs.
When he finally did reach someone, the response was " oh no one contacted you? I assure you I will make sure that someone calls you!.
The first email from them was XX/XX/XXXX and the absolute last correspondence from them was XX/XX/XXXX. ( just found out they also go by XXXX and they were relentless in their contact, rude, unprofessional and I painstakingly explained everything to the man who called and all he could get from the conversation was " Oh so you not paying this debt? '' I said no it is not cut and dry like that.
I asked for an address to send all the documentation. He gave me an address where I sent the priority mail to which it was said to be undeliverable! The post office sent it again for free for me and again it was returned.
He gave me another address and the package was never returned!. I begged them to take us to court XXXX we could stand before a judge with all our proof ... .and they stopped sending any correspondences to us but it remains on his credit report! And the fees keep adding up. I have contacted in XXXX since the beginning and all I was told is that we are in receipt of your complaint and nothing else! I filed again with the FTC, XXXX and the State Attorney General 's office begging for help here.

Complaint: Our car had a problem with the brakes, and we did n't have the money to afford the payment in cash, and our credit card did not have enough credit limit to make the payment. The person in the place ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) offered to contact a lender and immediately we got approved Follow the approval announcement, the guy asked me my phone number, and I did receive the notification of the approval, and I gave out my bank account information to set up the monthly payments, which we did understand. We thought that the interest rate could n't be higher than 30 % or so. I did ask the guy if they will send the contract detail by mail, and he said that I should be receiving it in two or three days that never happened. Today, since they did not email any statements or detail contract, and we wanted to pay off I contact them, and I was very frustrate and surprise when they informed me that the amount was almost the same after we make several payments that in theory should cover the full amount plus the interest rate of 30 %. We never get the figure of " get money today and pay tomorrow ''. The terms and conditions were not clear, and we did not get notify in any way. They mentioned today that they sent an email with the contract, but we never got it, and they did not mail any monthly statements or even emails with the information of the payments. Just right now we knew that we have to pay 189.00 % in interest rate, when we expected to pay off the full amount.

Complaint: I purchaed a sofa from a local establishment {$580.00}. Total cost XXXX. I requested to finance part of it. They use Duvera Financial but the minimum they would finance was {$370.00} which I did. If I paid it off in 3 mon. it was interest free. I could not afford to do that. I received the contract from them in the mail 2 weeks later and charged me 189 % interest. Is this legal? I ca n't afford this. Do I have any recourse? They will do nothing about it over the phone.

Complaint: I applied to have a loan from a company named Duvera Financial so I can paid for my Truck transmission repair for the amount of {$1500.00} in XX/XX/XXXX. I assume they told me 3 months without interest, but I undestood XXXX month without interest so I gave my XXXX XXXX XXXX account number and they withdrawn the monthly payments from XXXX to XXXX XXXX for the amount of {$280.00} each payment. So when I made the XXXX payment I found out that I was only XXXX month without interest not XXXX months so I asked for the amount to pay off the debt and they told me {$1000.00}.
I asked my daughter to lend me a credit card to payoff and I did it on XXXX XXXX for the amount of {$1000.00}.
Days later my daughter forgot about the payment and asked the bank for more info about this company, but they never retained/stooped the payment but they only asked more information to this company ( XXXX ). In this time ( XX/XX/XXXX ) XXXX XXXX deposited a temporary sum of {$1000.00} in my daughter 's account while they investigated the issue.That is the moment XXXX called me and said that now I owe them the sum of {$1300.00} to pay off the loan. So in XX/XX/XXXX I paid XXXX Financial the sum of {$1300.00} to stop any confusion and more interest charges. Also we asked XXXX XXXX to stop the investigation and we plead Duvera to return the over-payment they told us they needed more time and they promised they will return the money by the end of XXXX. In XXXX we claimed XXXX XXXX to proceed and return the over-payment of {$1000.00} since XXXX never responded to us. In XXXX XXXX XXXX finally returned the amount {$1000.00}.
I received a call from XXXX now saying they are going to send to collection because I owe them the sum of {$29000.00} and if I do n't pay them they are going to proceed with the collection process.If I pay them the sum of {$290.00} they will send me a letter to cancel the debt.

Complaint: I took out a loan through Duvera Financial to finance a gas scooter so that I could get back and forth from work. After having to contact the CFPB over Duvera changing my interest rate and payment amounts agreed on, their were no issues.
Then this past week, on XXXX/XXXX/15, I logged into the payment portal, and made my monthly payment, as I have every month, XXXX single payment a month. However, on XXXX/XXXX/15 at approx. XXXX, I noticed that the payment I submitted had processed through, but an additional payment was taken out of my bank account for the same amount, on XXXX/XXXX/15. I immediately called Duvera Financial, and was placed on hold for XXXX minutes before being told by a " XXXX '', that I made XXXX payments.
When I stated that I only made the XXXX payment on XXXX/XXXX/15, she instantly started saying that I did no such thing and placed a XXXX payment. After pointing out that I only make XXXX payment a month several times, she proceeded to state that I had set up an Auto-pay on the account ( which I did no such thing, as every payment made has required me logging in and scheduling the payment up until this point ). She then said that she would put in a request to cancel the payment, and that I should see the payment reversed in 3-4 business days.
I just contacted my bank ( XXXX XXXX ) to be told that they do not see any pending transfers on the account in question, and that they do not see anything from Duvera. So I contacted Duvera yet again at XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/15. After another XXXX minutes of being on hold, I finally got someone who would not give her name when asked. When asked about the status of the refund for the pending amount, she told me that " You called us on XXXX/XXXX/15, it 's only been XXXX days. It takes time to reverse the payment. We do n't know when it 's going to be credited back ''. I asked for a supervisor, was placed on hold, then a guy answered the phone and said that it will be another XXXX business days for the refund on the payment.
As of now, I 'm accruing NSF fees through my bank becuase of the XXXX payment that they took out, because my bank processed the payments that were due to be taken out at the same time as the XXXX payment was processed. Now as it sits today, I 'm owing my bank {$140.00} from bills that were processed out and NSF fees that have been accrued by Duvera taking a XXXX payment without my authorization.
