Complaint: My transmission needed repair in XX/XX/XXXX and the cost was {$3200.00}. I needed financing for {$1500.00}, and XXXX approved me through the transmission repair company ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX ). My payments were set to be {$280.00} which I said I could not afford, and XXXX verbally told me they would work with me after I made a successful payment. My husband then lost his job, and when I called XXXX they would not negotiate and I could not make my payments. In XX/XX/XXXX XXXX emailed me with a one time offer of reducing my payments to {$150.00}. I called and accepted. Although my husband still has not returned to work, I have been saving my money to pay off this debt. I called XXXX today, and was shocked to learn that the {$150.00} payments I have been consistently making, have not even touched the principal balance. Even worse, the payoff balance is {$2000.00}. I offered to settle, and the customer service rep told me to " make an offer ''. I offered {$1400.00} and that was rejected with their counter-offer of {$1700.00} which I do not have. I have paid {$1700.00} in financing fees since last XX/XX/XXXX and I want to get rid of this debt. Attachments are included. This simply can not be legal. Thank you for any help.

Complaint: I signed up for a financing company to finance engine work done to my car. When i was signing up i was told that the have a 90 day pay off before they apply interest rates. I was also told that it would be 21 % after i signed up. I made 4 months of payments and on the day of XXXX XXXX 2017 i was informed that i have a 199 % interest rate which i never agreed on or signed up for. I was never informed or it was never documented that i would have that interest rate.

Complaint: This collection account just appeared on my credit report. It is not mine. It was removed before as the company was unable to provide debt validation years ago and it has appeared again. There was not any notification at all. No dunning letter. The credit reporting agency did not send me a notice that this is being reinserted after years of being removed. This is not my debt and I want it removed right away.

Complaint: I 've just had to get my car repaired on credit. I went to XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ' in XXXX XXXX AZ . They use 'EasyPay ' finance company for financing of customers needing credit. 'EasyPay Finance ' ONLY does 'applications ' by CELL PHONE. This is highly irregular as cell phones have very minute screens in which to view the numerous needed documents. This makes it almost IMPOSSIBLE to see what you are signing. I am also well aware, or thought I was, of the Federal CAP on loan interest rates of 20 %. So when I finally received printed copies of the documents that I could actually READ I noticed that there is an APR of 188.99 %? I initially thought this to be a typo since this is EXCESSIVE? This makes the FINANCE CHARGE {$1000.00} for a charge of only {$810.00}. This entire matter must surely be FRAUDULENT? How can anyone legally charge a larger finance charge than the amount of credit needed? My Application Id is : XXXX I look forward to any correspondence from anyone regarding this matter.

Complaint: I purchased a Computer from XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX XXXX. The Computer company used a financing company " Easy Pay Finance '' I returned the computer purchased in XXXX of XXXX however Easy Pay Finance never stopped processing payments on my account. I 've contacted them multiple times and have even made them aware that the Company where the purchase was made has been under new ownership twice since XXXX of XXXX. The new owners do not use Easy pay and the product which the contact was made for was returned to the store. They have even confirmed that they ca n't get a hold of the owner of the store themselves yet they wont ' stop processing payments and have even started to charge me NSF fees because I 've asked my bank to stop their transactions. Easy Pay Fincance company keeps asking for me to contact the owner of the company and have me going in circles rather than attempt to resolve my issue.

Complaint: Since receiving the loan, Duvera Financial has made numerous mistakes with my credit card not going through. The very first month, they input the wrong expiration date, which put XXXX returned payments on my account. There was also a card charged on my account that I do not own. Complaint: The agreement that I entered into had a 90 day Interest Rebate Promotion that states as follows : 90 Day Interest Rebate Promotion ( Rebate Processing Fee required ) Your contract includes a 90 Day Interest Rebate Promotion. Please note that finance charges accrue from the effective date of the contract and will be added to your account until paid in full. Any finance charges paid less a Rebate Processing Fee equal to the lesser of {$40.00} or the finance charges incurred as of the payoff date will be rebated to you unless the 90 Days Interest Rebate Promotion has been invalidated because 1 ) the total Amount Financed plus the applicable Rebate Processing Fee is not paid in full by the expiration date provided below, or 2 ) you fail to make a minimum payment on the account when due.
It also states that the contract must be paid in full by XXXX/XXXX/2016. I paid in full on XXXX/XXXX/2016.
The agreement further explains the promotion later on as follows : 90 DAY INTEREST REBATE PROMOTION ( Rebate Processing Fee required ) This Installment Contract offers an Interest Rebate Promotion. All interest paid less a Rebate Processing Fee equal to the lesser of {$40.00} or the finance charges incurred as of the payoff date will be rebated to Buyer if, during the promotional period, Buyer makes all monthly payments on a timely basis with no returned payments, and Buyer pays in full the Amount Financed plus the applicable Rebate Processing Fee. This Promotion begins on the Contract Date and ends XXXX.
PLEASE NOTE : If Buyer makes any payment untimely or if Buyer 's payment is returned, this Promotion will terminate immediately. Upon the Promotion 's termination, Buyer shall be liable for all interest accruing from the Contract Date and the interest charges will not be rebated.
Interest charges do not include delinquency, pre-paid finance charges and other charges.
Except for necessary revisions to incorporate this payment plan, all terms and conditions set forth in this Installment Contract shall continue to apply to Buyer 's account, including Buyer 's obligations to make timely monthly payments.
Interest charges begin accruing from the effective date of the Contract, and will be rebated to Buyer less the Rebate Processing Fee if all of the following are true during the promotional period : ( 1 ) The total Amount Financed plus processing fee is paid in full, ( 2 ) Buyer makes all timely payments, and ( 3 ) no payments made by Buyer are returned.

Per the contract, I did not make any late payments or violate any terms. After paying off my loan I called to inquire as to how to receive my rebate. I was told that there was no rebate, but that my interest was waived. However, according to my statement I have paid {$35.00} in interest. The agent claims that those are the Processing Fees, yet it does not state that at all whatsoever on the statement, it clearly states interest charge. Wherever fees are listed, it states the amount of XXXX.

Duvera financial revoked all terms of contract, applied back interest to date loan was originally issued because I was now calling 4 days past first payment date.Said I now owed Duvera $ XXXX+ to Resolve loan. Refuse to help me resolve loan that day and still till now until I pay their demands. Now they say I owe them {$2400.00} for a loan that is only 5 months old.

Complaint: We needed our car repaired and the cost came to {$1400.00} at XXXX we did not have the cash so the manager said we could get a easy pay loan and set it up over the phone after giving our information to someone over the phone he handed me the phone and a man told me that I could pay it off in 90 days same as cash or I COULD PAY {$140.00} for 12 months and I said I could do that and we had done that without fail the last 12 months never late. well on the 13 month they took another payment out so I called them and they were rude and said I owe for another year. they said I agreed to that no I did not, there was no contract sent to me only a over the phone agreement that I did without fail so I closed my account so they could not get another payment I do n't owe for.

Complaint: On my TransUnion credit report I have a collection from DUVERA ( DVRA collections ) regarding an account opened with XXXX, XXXX. The account was opened XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and the account was closed XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. I contacted XXXX, XXXX billing department around XXXX/XXXX/XXXX to inquire about when the account was sent to collections, the representative stated the account was forward to DUVERA XXXX. But on the credit report, it shows that the collection was opened XX/XX/XXXX.-offense # 1-FALSIFIED INFORMATION.
Also on the XXXX credit report, it shows that a last payment was made XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. First of all, I never made a payment on this account and second, it does not show the amount of the payment.
XXXX disputes were made to XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX stating that I am no longer liable for this account being that the account was closed in XX/XX/XXXX and result was received XXXX/XXXX/XXXX that XXXX only updated the collection account. A second dispute was made within a week later and never received a response from XXXX. Around XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX I called transunion regarding the second response and requested the results. XXXX representative stated that he was not able to give me the results of the second dispute and it was sent via e-mail. Asked to provide the e-mail it was sent to and the e-mail used was incorrect. Stated this to the XXXX representative and again stated that I could not receive the results of the second dispute. Pulled another credit report from XXXX and the collection is still on my report. They did not investigate the collection agency for validation. They only updated the account showing that it is still open. Offense # 2-Failure to validate the collection account.
I sent information to XXXX for investigation on this collection account on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX providing information showing that this collection account was fradulent for the following reasons : 1. The account was closed with XXXX, XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, and the account opened with DUVERA ( DVRA ) collections on XX/XX/XXXX, but the company states that this account was sent to DUVERA on XX/XX/XXXX. There was showing " Last Payment XXXX '' on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX of which NO PAYMENT was made ever- the account from XXXX XXXX closed in XX/XX/XXXX.
Conclusion : the collection agency re-aged the collection account from XX/XX/XXXX to opening the account in XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, which added 7 more years to this collection. They are showing a payment was made on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, of which I never made any payments on this account, which means that the end of the 7 years on this collection ended XX/XX/XXXX. Please note that the account with the company was closed XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. There was no delinquent or late payments on the account being the account was closed days after the account with XXXX, XXXX was opened. It seems that DUVERA ( DVRA collections ) falsified information to open this collection. Third, they showed a payment that was not made using this to re-age this collection and provided addresses, that I believe does not exist.
To validate this collection, XXXX packages were sent to DUVERA & DVRA Collections on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and around XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and the first certified letter was returned around XXXX " Undeliverable '' and the XXXX certified letter sent is also showing " Pending. '' I used both addresses listed on XXXX credit report and from XXXX. Both of which, I believe does not exist. So, finally I requested another investigation with TU and sent supportive documentation to them to re-evaluate this collection. DUVERA ( XXXX collections ) fraudulently made up this collection and TU did not due diligently investigated this collection, they only updated this collection. Supportive information will be forwarded to you for your review.
