Complaint: Since last year I began receiving mail from a company named Diversified Consultants. They went from mailing me threating letters to also contacting me at work and at home threating to garnish my wages and to ruin my credit. I contacted the police and filed a police report because it was evident they were collecting on a fraudulent account. I notified them yet the cease to stop collection tactics and have now placed derogatory information on my credit bureau reports. They have reported erroneous information to all three credit bureaus AND clearly this is not my account and I am a victim of fraud. Please see my attached police reports.

I have also submitted a dispute a week ago on XXXX XXXX to the debt collection company and still have not received a response. I run several businesses and my credit is VERY important to me as I am trying to buy a house. My credit score was 700+ before this unknown collection and it is my ONLY collection. Diversified Consultants violated federal law by not contacting me before putting an item on my credit report. If they would have, I would have told them that, as my credit report states, I am the victim of ID theft. I would have told them that the XXXX XXXX XXXX account was opened fraudulently.

Complaint: I canceled my XXXX XXXX, XXXX service in XX/XX/2018. XXXX XXXX was unable to provide me service for over 2 weeks prior to cancellation. All bills including the bill through XXXX were paid in full and on time. XXXX, XXXX XXXX, billed me for a service period extending to late XX/XX/2018 XXXX {$200.00} ) which I did not pay. I made numerous calls to XXXX to resolve the billing error, the result each time ( after extended review ) was that I did not owe this bill and was due a refund for the period of non-service in XXXX. These calls went all the way to the Presidents office, always the correction was being processed and could take 60 days to clear their error. 4 months ago a collection company contacted me and again I reviewed the error. 2 months ago a second collection company contacted me and I again reviewed the error and was told they would correct the problem. 10 days later I was contacted again by the same agency that claimed no knowledge of the previous discussion. They were aggressive, I told them that I had made numerous attempts to correct the company 's error and not to contact me again. Now they have filed a collection on my credit report.

Complaint: Saw on my credit for Diversified Consultants for {$5100.00} for XXXX. I immediately called XXXX to see what was going on. Said had an old account from last year and verified was opened and all items were sent back but some how I am still being charged for all the items. XXXX said there was nothing they could do on their end so called Diversified and the people were extremely rude and abusive on the phone before I could even get a word in to explain why I was calling. Threatened me and harassed me. I am also looking into an attorney to go after them for the way they treat consumers.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 I received a credit report notification from my XXXX credit monitoring account that a notice of collections had been filed on my credit report. My credit monitoring company states this collections notification was started on XX/XX/2019. I received no notification of any kind from the company named Diversified Consultants. I am an XXXX XXXX military member serving overseas. Diversified consultants claims XXXX XXXX XXXX is the company responsible. I verified with XXXX XXXX XXXX that my account had been closed and that my account balance was {$0.00} prior to my XXXX XXXX XXXX overseas move. Diversified consultants attempted to place another collections file on my credit report one year ago. I disputed this claim last year and the claim was removed from my credit report. Now there is another collections notice from the same company for the same reason one year later. This account was closed in good standing and has already been removed from my credit report previously. There is no basis whatsoever for this collections report. I have never missed a credit payment in the history of my credit report.
