Complaint: Last year I moved to a new residence and I was delinquent on my final bill from XXXX because they did not have my new address on file. I paid off the balance ( about {$100.00} ) immediately after learning about the situation from a debt collector ( Diversified Consultants LLC ) about two months ago. Two people from XXXX AND two people from Diversified Consultants told me that this debt collection account would be removed from my credit report/history within a couple of weeks after payment but it is still listed as open/active. The collection account is still listed on my credit report and I am seeking to have it removed because 4 people promised me it would be removed. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help - thanks! XXXX

Complaint: Diversified Consultants have threatened collection on an account I previously stated I would not pay to XXXX. Last winter I ordered a new phone from XXXX. I could not download anything from my old phone. The people in their service department told me to remove the old SIM card and put it in the new phone. That did not work which rendered my old phone useless. No calls could be sent or received. This went on for almost two weeks. I got nowhere with XXXX. I returned the new phone as it didnt work. I refuse to pay for something I could not use. Their trying to collect XXXX from me. They should also have a record of all the conversations I had with them.

This account was previously under Diversified consultants and it was remove between XXXX and XXXX because this item as well as the original creditor were disputed, now this same collection agency that was REMOVED on all 3 credit files has re sold my account to a new collection agenct, who have threaten me and sent a notice that if I don't pay this debt ( which is not mine ) within 30 days from notice that " ... ..report this account on your credit history ... ''. So now I will yet take another hit to my score which is wrong, I humbly request since this account was already remove from the same original creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX. That it be remove OR not allowed to report false erroneous collection on my credit file, this debt does NOT belong to me. Also as all bureau are aware that I'am an identity theft victim, I would like to advice that I have received my results from XXXX that my Social Security number has in fact been found associated with another individuals account information, I have taken a picture of XXXX notice with the results I ask you also take into consideration this document for all other items in dispute. I also have attach more documents associated with notice receive and also more proof. Also please if possible CFPB I'm unable to send this complaint to all 3 credit bureaus can this also along with my attachments be forward to XXXX and XXXX, I was only able to add 2 additional companies so I also sent this complaint to Diversefied consult and XXXX.thankyou in advance CFPB for your help with this matter!

Complaint: DIVERSIFIED CONSULTANTS in XXXX, FL contacted me about {$58.00}. XXXX could not prove that I was informed of a {$100.00} early cancel fee. XXXX kept {$42.00} overpayment on the account then DIVERSIFIED CONSULTANTS accepted my {$58.00} payment to them based on an understanding that it was never proven that the money was owed. I am trying to purchase a home and my credit score has gone from the 800 's to the 600 's and I have already paid now {$100.00} I never agreed to. I am being held XXXX when I tried for months to have anyone provide a shread of evidence that the {$58.00} was owing. If there was evidence I would have paid it in the first place. The order was placed by phone and early cancel fee not disclosed. DIVERSIFIED CONSULTANTS needed to provide evidence. This is a bad faith action and a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. This is a fraudulent collection of a debt which makes DIVERSIFIED CONSULTANTS liable for damages, attorney fees, and court costs. The {$58.00} was paid in XX/XX/XXXX and I discovered it has not been removed from my credit report XX/XX/XXXX when I started the loan process. I can not afford a higher interest rate of thousands of dollars because of paying {$58.00} I did not owe. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent a certified letter asking for a refund and that DIVERSIFIED CONSULTANTS remove this fraudulent collection of a debt from my credit report.
