Complaint: Buyer 's remorse. I ordered a phone from XXXX. When the phone arrived I could not receive a signal at my residence. I had not yet yet disconnected with XXXX which had 3 bars service where XXXX had no bars sitting side by side on my coffee table. I called customer service and tech support and after they could not help me get good service was told to return the phone. I returned the phones to them the next day as instructed. I have copies of both an email and letter from the company saying the phones were received in excellent condition and within 15 days. The law states if I 'm not satisfied with service for any reason I can return the phones. Since then I have received letters and called many times trying to fix what I have been told is a glitch in their system. I can not log into the XXXX side of my account. When I call them they tell me they 've fixed the problem. Then a credit agency is trying to collect so they can get money for phones they already have back.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2016 I called XXXX UVerse to cancel XXXX at XXXX, XXXX, KS XXXX. I was given cancellation confirmation number XXXX and a final payment confirmation XXXX and paid a final payment of approximately {$55.00}. The service was cancelled on XX/XX/2016. On XX/XX/2016 I received a call from Diversified Consultants, a collection agency, stating that I owed an additional {$150.00}! Diversified Consultants also told me that the " bad debt '' would end up on my credit report if a payment was n't made that day. Worried and fearful of damage to my credit history ( which is perfect ), I made the payment for {$150.00} over the phone using my credit card. On the same day, after reviewing my notes ( and discovering that I had received confirmation numbers for my cancelation of service and final payment ), I called Diversified Consultants back and asked for a refund because I had previously paid XXXX XXXX XXXX the final amount. I was told the {$150.00} had already been sent XXXX & XXXX there was n't anything they can do to help me. I then contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX and at first they claimed the charge was for unreturned equipment and later claimed it was an early termination fee. After looking into both issues, theydetermined the equipment was returned and there was n't an early termination fee.Eventually they stated theycredited my account back {$99.00} but would not refund me the entire {$150.00}. I have now discovered that XXXX XXXX XXXX credited the CLOSED account {$99.00}, and XXXX XXXX XXXX is now claiming that the {$99.00} can not not be transferred to my active home account! XXXX XXXX XXXX and Diversified Consultants have violated the FDCPA and I am demanding the full {$150.00} back from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I did not ever owe XXXX XXXX XXXX or Diversified any funds and the XXXX should have not have called me and threatened to hurt my credit if I did not pay debt I did not owe. I demand a full refund via wire to my checking account, or a check issued in my name. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

Complaint: I was contacted by the collections agency attempting to collect a debt that they never billed me for. I asked them to send me a bill and for simple validation of the debt by phone and by certified mail. Instead giving responding to my letter, the reported the debt shortly after, not allowing me the 30 day period in wich they were not to report the debt to the credit bureaus and I was never sent any form of validation till this day. This is the XXXX company trying to collect thid debt from me and neither of them were able to validate it but Diversified Consultants were the only ones who reported the XXXX debt that was claimed to me mines.

Complaint: They are calling many times a day, weekdays and weekends, hours range from XXXX till as late as XXXX. I have answered the caller several time and tell them this matter has been disputed in writing and was sent via certified letter. I have also ask them to stop calling every time I have answer the call. Each agent making the call will then threaten to take me to court, report to credit bureau and get very rude on the phone. We have never put our mother in laws name on any bills that we have. She was hysterical believing that this would happen over our bill to her. I asked them why they would call an individual who is not on our account and disclose personal information at which time I was told that the individual responsible would be reprimanded and that the phone number was taken off of the account. I asked them how they got her telephone number in the first place since she is never on our bills at which time I was told that the individual may have looked at different phone numbers to find a family member. I was then asked if I wanted to take care of the past due amount where I flatly answered no.

Complaint: First off, this is a {$250.00} bill, debt from XXXX, which i 've lost work & could not pay for EVEN that. This collection agency has called " Almost '' every morning right at XXXX, waking my XXXX & XXXX old grandparents. Furthermore, i 've spoken with their agents explaining i lost my job ; should be back working w/in 2-3 months, and for them to call back - or i rather prefer to call you back, i will be able to pay on debt then. Collection agency is based in Florida, but caller id says " XXXX XXXX, MI, '' this Collection agency is CIRCULATING a New phone # every call now, which seems purposeful harassment, to purposely change their caller ID # or buys multiple 'spoof ' phone lines to, well you can figure it out. I 'd made it clear, and was very cordial, straight forward, and doing best to resolve this issue ; at least 4 times I 've explained to them. The lady also stated to me " does n't your grandpa or mother have the money for a payment? '' which they HONESTLY do not, barely making ends meet ; not to mention i thought was pretty TERRIBLE of her to suggest!

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2016, I sent a letter to the credit Bureaus requesting that they investigate and/or delete disputed items from the company Diversified Consultants Inc. from my credit report. My letter to the Credit Bureaus also requested that Diversified Consultants verify that they have legal right to collect debt in my state, the original contract, etc. On XXXX XXXX, 2016, I received a letter from Diversified Consultants through the United States Postal Service from Diversified Consultants dated XXXX XXXX, 2016. The letter received from Diversified Consultants stated that they are business as ( Diversified Central ) in the state of Alabama. I googled Diversified Central in the state of Alabama and have not been successful in finding the alleged company. I have reason to believe that Diversified Consultants lied about this fake company ( Diversified Central ) as a ploy to illegally collect money from me.
