Complaint: They hired an attorney years ago to foreclose on the property. At that point I had no access to the house. They stopped it for unknown reasons. I have tried to do a voluntary give back. I've tried to do a quick sale with no response. At one point I even did a loan modification with it resulting in them losing my paperwork. I work very hard to keep my credit good. I feel I have gone above and beyond to resolve this with no response from Ditech. I do not believe they are acting in good faith and are ruining my credit even though I have attempted to resolve this balance. I hope you can help me get them to moving forward. Complaint: Refinance home in XX/XX/2018 and pending escrow overpayments from previous mortgage lender. Payments released in 2 payments per lender, but larger payment in amount {$520.00} continues to be withheld by lender for no valid reason. I have made multiple calls regarding payment and advised each time that payment should be received in 7-10 business days. Calls made beginning XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX. Still being informed by agents that check will be issued I will receive in 7-10 business days.

Complaint: Ditech, XXXX XXXX XXXX, Green Tree it whatever title the company is going by this week is a joke!! I have been a victim of them for far too long. Not only are the employees rude, it goes beyond that, they downright harass you, and hang up on you if you decide to say anything back to them. My husband and I took out a mortgage with Green tree homes in 2013, this was by far the worst mistake of my life!!! In the beginning I was told my house payment would be {$450.00}, and the total cost of my home was {$51.00} XXXX. The House didnt even have a septic system so before buying we also had to finance this in with the cost of the house. The septic system that was put in never worked correctly and weve had to have it pumped once or twice a year. On top of that this took my {$450.00} payment up to {$600.00}. Fast forwarding some green tree has switched and is now ditech. I never agreed to finance through another company and had no knowledge of this. Fast forward again, we got behind on 3 payments around XXXX one year..they started harassing us and even called my neighbors stating my house payment was behind!! How embarrassing that was, and I never gave them permission to talk to anyone else about my account!! Fast forwarding again, my husband is currently laid off his XXXX and XXXX job and we are left without any income. I called ditech to see if we could do some sort of modification or payment deferral. The representative told me he has spoken with his manager and the following week when I came up with {$740.00} to pay on the escrow of the house and property he would deffer the payments we missed to the end of the loan. I call back to make that payment where Im informed that no deferral was ever approved, even though I was told it was. They told me making the payment wouldnt help me any because my account was getting ready to go into foreclosure. They said I either needed to pay all the past due amount or just let it go and lose my house and property. I told them I was going to look into filing bankruptcy because I do not want to lose my home. I call back and the representative asks me what Im doing with my money and says this is my home and I should be concerned about whats going on even though Ive worried myself so sick over all this Ive had to go on anxiety meds. I tell her Im trying to file bankruptcy and my lawyer should be contacting them, she then tells me it may not stop the foreclosure!!!! Why, I asked her and she said because thats the process. I told her she didnt have to be so rude to me, I was just trying to understand the process and shes provided me with the worst customer service Ive ever received in my life!!! Then she says goodbye and hangs up on me. This is by far the worst company Ive ever dealt with in my life, and theres so much I can explain further about all theyve done to us! Ive also saw online several class action suits against this company for kinds of fraudulent activities. Someone please do something about them, they rob people!!!

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX my home was in hurricane Michael. After my insurance company came out they deemed my home a total loss. I received my checks from my insurance company y and overnighted them to payoff my 1st and 2nd mortgage with Ditech Financial. They received my checks on XX/XX/XXXX. I was informed by the company that they hold the checks for 10 to 16 business days! I am trying to close on a new home on XX/XX/XXXX. And I have called Ditech several times to see what is the hold up on paying off my loans. I have called Ditech and talked to 3 different managers in the claims department, and today XX/XX/XXXX. I was told that they put my checks to the " front of the line '' and when the payoff department gets them, it can take 3-6 business days to process them! I explained to them in great detail that they are delaying me to get my closing on my new home. Now I asked for Ditech to email me a letter stating that they have my checks since XX/XX/XXXX, and to explain to my new mortgage company, XXXX XXXX what Ditechs process to show for the FHA financing I am getting that the mortgage will be paid in full. I was then told that to get this letter can take several days! When does this end! Basically they are holding my checks for almost or near a month! I have attached the letter they wanted me to write, copies of the checks, and the XXXX XXXX label and the acknowledgement that when Ditech received my checks

Complaint: DiTech had setup an escrow account without my consent or knowledge. They claim that there was a gap in my insurance coverage. Apparently according to them my insurance company renewed my policy at a lower coverage then was currently being covered. At the same time I had secured insurance coverage from another company ( more for less ), which was no problem but Ditech claims that I owed them for a month or two and instead of letting me pay the gap, they started an escrow in which they deposited my timely payments and deducted the gap amount, then reported my payment late. I had auto payment set up with my bank and they assure me that all payments were sent on time and statements support that. I finally got in contact with someone last month, that explained the situation to me, as I only found out about it by checking my credit report and saw the late payment notices. I immediately paid the amount owed, even though it seems unusual to me that an insurance company would renew a policy for less. Not worth my time to argue over a {$100.00}, I just paid it and asked that they remove my late payment marks on my credit because I never made a late payment. They have refused to rectify the situation and my credit is being unfairly damaged as a result of it.

Complaint: This issue is in regard to a mobile home title in Montana. The lien on the title lists the lienholder as : XXXX A DIVISION OF XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, WA XXXX The lien was put on the title in XX/XX/XXXX when we purchased the ( new ) mobile home. The loan was paid off in XX/XX/XXXX when we refinanced through XXXX XXXX, but the lien was never released by XXXX as verified by the Montana Motor Vehicle Division. I have contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX since XXXX is no longer in existence and they said this loan was a Ditech/XXXX XXXX loan and that they had forwarded my the information and documentation I provided to Ditech, In 2 phone calls to Ditech, they have assured me they will not even look into this for at least 30 days even though I have pointed out that the lien release is in essence 15 years past due. I personally provided them via fax on XX/XX/XXXX a copy of the title and a copy of a form XXXX which shows the loan number, our names, and a social security number of my husband, the primary borrower who is now deceased. I gave the dates of the loan origination and payoff. I was on hold for an hour and 15 minutes on the phone today, the second of my ( exceedingly unhelpful ) calls to them. The representative at Ditech would not even confirm that they received my information either from XXXX or my fax. I was supposed to close on the sale of this property last Friday. With a sale of the property on the line I do not have a month to wait to possibly hear from them regarding this.

Complaint: In XXXX of 2018 I closed a loan with Ditech. The pay off loan was funded on XX/XX/2018 and Ditech didn't close the loan until XX/XX/XXXX. Ditech reported to the credit bureaus a 30 day late payment even though they said it was funded on the XXXX. I contacted Ditech in XXXX when I discovered they had reported a 30 day late payment. They advised me to send the closing documents which showed when the disbursement actually occurred. I emailed to their customer service department the closing documents. I never heard back from them. Now in XXXX, the late payment is still showing on my credit. I called Ditech again, they have no record of my previous call and now I have to fax or mail the closing documents into them. Either way they have falsely submitted a 30 day late payment.

Complaint: I wrote a letter in XX/XX/2018 to Ditech requesting a modification of my mortgage for a few months. In XX/XX/2018 I was approved for interest only payments which I paid. In XXXX I was told that Ditech reversed their decision. I tried calling several times to find out about this change in the decision and asked to speak with a manager. Instead I was only referred to customer service reps. The company provided no last names of employees and has no voicemails. In addition, are these customer service reps qualified to make decisions on these important matters? I then received a refinance package that I did not request. This would would allow Ditech to charge additional fees. I believe this company is a predatory lender. I reported this to the South Dakota Dept. of Labor and Regulation/division of banking. They forwarded my complaint to Ditech but I have heard nothing to date about this matter. I have had my house on the market since XX/XX/2018. My current tenants have not paid rent and I need time to vett new tenants, hence the request for a modification for a few months. Refinancing is not appropriate for me at present but this is the only option that was offered so that more fees can be collected.

Complaint: They say due date is XX/XX/XXXX. You make a payment XX/XX/XXXX. That payment is not applied properly and they charge you late fees if you do not notice and do not call in time. They made PMI cancellation a nightmare and pretended that loan needs aging of one year and then two years LYING on the phone that it can not be done before that. Turns out that it can and they just cancelled PMI.
