Complaint: Ditech has increased my mortgage payment consecutively each year citing escrow shortage. Although my liabilities did not increase this year they have now added an additional {$75.00} to my monthly payment. My current escrow balance has {$770.00} in it. Over the course of this next 12 months my liabilities will total {$4300.00}. They collect {$360.00} each month in escrow. I will pay {$4300.00} over the next 12 months to escrow. Adding that {$4300.00} to my current balance of {$770.00} the total in escrow will equal {$5100.00}. That is way over the cushion they claim to have. This company is constantly trying to overcharge customers in fees and escrow. I would like them held accountable for their bad business practices. I would like my payment to accurately reflect the cushion they claim exists. Their cushion is listed as {$480.00}. If they were calculating correctly using this cushion and my current escrow balance, my monthly escrow charge should be only {$290.00}. Not the {$360.00} they 're currently charging. I 'm currently overpaying.

Complaint: I refinanced my FHA loan XX/XX/2016. Immediately after refinancing, my loan was sold to Ditech. XX/XX/2016, I received a tax statement from XXXX County, GA stating I owed property taxes despite having an escrow account with Ditech. I checked my account online and they had the wrong parcel ID # for my property. I contacted Ditech numerous times by phone and was asked to fax the tax bill. I faxed the tax bill on XX/XX/XXXX. I called XX/XX/XXXX to inquire into the status. I was given an update that Ditech had sent a disbursement to the wrong city ( due to incorrect parcel ID ) and that the city of XXXX, GA had sent the check back. This past Friday, I again received another property tax notice from XXXX County stating a lien was going to be placed on my property due to unpaid taxes. Again I called, explained the issue again, they took down the correct parcel ID # again, and I faxed the bill AGAIN. I have also received an unpaid noticed from the city of XXXX and tried to tax that after receiving and the fax would not go through. I 'm attached all faxes, a screenshot showing the incorrect parcel ID #, and all property tax statements.

Complaint: I filed a chapter XXXX bankruptcy XX/XX/XXXX, after missing 1 mortgage payment. I have made up the missed payment through my chapter XXXX repayment plan. Since XX/XX/XXXX, Ditech has kept all loan servicing and accounting information ( including payment history, chapter XXXX trustee payments, principal, interest, and escrow information, including escrow analysis and balance ) hidden from me at Ditech.com. Ditech sends monthly " informational statements '' to my home address without ANY loan servicing and accounting information ( including payment history, chapter XXXX trustee payments, principal, interest, late fees, and escrow information ). It is basically a blank statement. Ditech has removed reporting of my mortgage loan from all of my credit reports. The loan originated XX/XX/XXXX. Ditech has incorrectly calculated my XX/XX/XXXX yearly interest payment on my form XXXX at {$2700.00}. I have no way of correcting this because I can not communicate with them nor can I view my accounting of applied payments with principal and interest. Ditech has not applied my previous payment XX/XX/XXXX to my account. Ditech 's automated phone system will only transfer me to their " make a payment '' option, which then states that that I owe {$6300.00}. If I try to connect to a Ditech representative, I am automatically transferred to another company : XXXX. Ditech has sent letters to my bankruptcy attorney, each time stating a different loan representative name and phone number to call if I have questions or need help. Yet when I call the Ditech phone number provided, I am automatically forwarded to another company, XXXX XXXX XXXX. I am unable to speak with anyone at Ditech. I have recently fallen behind on my mortgage and am unable to reach anyone at Ditech for assistance or information on the servicing and calculations of my account. I will be filing a complaint with my State 's Attorney 's office ( XXXX XXXX ) as well as following the guidelines of RESPA, and contacting XXXX, who is the loan holder of my mortgage. I will also file complaint with the FTC. Ditech, formerly Green Tree, should be found in contempt of court for failure to uphold the STIPULATED ORDER FOR PERMANENT INJUNCTION AND MONETARY JUDGMENT filed on XX/XX/XXXX, with the UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT, DISTRICT OF MINNESOTA.

Complaint: Ditech mortgage has been charging me escrow since XX/XX/XXXX. my taxes were always paid by me. They have overpaid the City of XXXX XXXX taxes 2x and are not correcting the problem. This all stemmed from a XXXX charge from DiTech on XX/XX/XXXX, I called to make sure it was it was cleared up because they said I did n't pay my taxes in which I did. I sent them proof. XX/XX/XXXX I paid my taxes and Ditech paid too. I specifically stated that I pay my own taxes and insurance from the beginning.I sent a letter showing a credit XX/XX/XXXX in the real estate tax office of XXXX. I told them not to pay the City of XXXX XXXX because they were paid. They paid anyway and charged me. I also have always paid an extra {$1000.00} extra principal. I can not get this straightened out as they keep overpaying my real estate taxes and refuse to send me a copy of a letter they sauy sent to City of XXXX XXXX for a refund. This is the worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with in 20 years. Please help. As of today they are charging me for escrow and the city has a XXXX credit of real estate taxes in my account.

Complaint: I am extremely frustrated with Ditech. We have been faithful on our home mortgage for over 10 years now. We have never been late. Ditech has misplaced our payments causing me to go through grueling straints to prove we paid the amount and for them to find the payment. They have ceaced applying my monthly payments to our account and are repeatidly sending me loss mitigation paperwork. But, I have never been late on our payment. At current it shows I am almost {$9000.00} in the hole, yet when I contact them they state they have received my payments every month! They are not applying the payments to my account though. I contact our " account representative '' only to have to leave a message that is never returned. I am forced to make phone calls to them on a monthly, if not more frequent, basis. I am afraid my excellent credit score is being damaged by their mishandeling. I am past frustration and feel stuck. I do not know what to do and they ca n't seem to get their business straight.

Complaint: XX/XX/2007 I claimed bankruptcy due to a bad business decision and the fall of the economy. All of my life savings went down the tubes as well as a 20 year marriage. The only thing I had left was my home and the equity in it. As you can imagine this was a bit XXXX..To make a long story short my mortgage was takin over by greentree. From this moment on its been a nitemare.. They hassled me morning noon and nite. Only excepting payments thru this service in which I had to pay {$12.00} extra to use also attemted to take unauthorized payment withdrawls from my account. This caused many overdraft charges. I filed the proper paperwork for modification and was finally approved after at least XXXX phone calls and at least as many fax attempts. When I sent a fax I got a confirmation that it was recieved but greentree said no way so I had to resend again ... This process took months..Well by nobodys fault but my own I fell behind again due to a divorce and only XXXX income.. This time greentree had been changed to ditech financial and I was told by there representatives that Ditech was the new company taking over my accounts. What an outrite lie.. This time the experience was even worse.. I faxed so many times the same documents I ran my printer out of ink. I was told different stories by every other representative that took my call. One said they were having issues with incoming faxes and that department was being revamped.. Another lie.. During this process I was forced to be away from my home for months at a time as employment was scarce. I returned home one day to find a company called safegaurd property preservation had broken the locks off my home with a channel lock, left the destroyed locks laying on the floor in front of me and put a lockbox on the door..I immediately contacted these misfits and they gave me the lockbox code. I also told them that I never moved out and they agreed to leave my home alone..Safegaurd had made repairs to my home that were ridiculously uneeded, for instance, the exterior dryer vent was replaced. This was brand new and to my knowledge they dont wear out..They also removed anything that they thought that had value. Missing was a leather couch, change in a jar ( about {$25.00} ), pictures off the wall, pots and pans, expensive cutting knifes from the kitchen and a snowmobile out of the yard. A few weeks later I came home from work to find the locks were all changed again. They had attempted to make it harder to gain entry this time. I had to slide under the garage door and break down the entry door to the house. When I called XXXX they apologized for the confusion and agreed to pay for a new door and the missing items including the snowmobile.. After 6 months of phone calls I agreed to a measly {$600.00} refund for the door and was told I should have made a police report on the sled. I was pretty upset at this stage because its tough to make a police report 6 months after the fact so I agreed to the {$600.00}. I havent recieved payment as of today. As of today my house is set for a sherriffs sale XX/XX/XXXX and Im still trying to modify the loan. I again have been told the same lies about not getting my fax and everytime I call I get a different rep who tells me they need a different piece of paperwork.

They have imposed unwarranted fees, not applied funds, just an on going pattern of harassment and misconduct. We understand they were involved in a lawsuit initiated by the FTC. We feel we were omitted, lost, or otherwise unaccounted for as we have not been contacted regarding any settlement. We also feel they are raising the interest rate illegally.

Complaint: I filed Bankruptcy, Chapter XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, the mortgage was included and the mortgage was foreclosed XX/XX/XXXX and a Sheriff Sale was held. Since that time Ditech Mortgage has sent me monthly statements with the deferred portion of the mortgage owing with additional charges added to the deferred portion of the mortgage. I have called them repeatedly about these statements to no AVAIL. Ditech claims these notices are for informational purposes. My concern is if, I am able to REEDEM the property, Ditech will place a lien on the property for the deferred portion of the mortgage. The total dollar amount of the mortgage balance was {$67000.00} the law firm of XXXX., XXXX XXXX MI, XXXX. Their phone # is XXXX. This mortgage was modified with XXXX. XXXX XXXX, as trustee for the certificate holders of the XXXX inc., Asset-Backed Certificates Series XX/XX/XXXX-XXXX, listed for mortgage sale. The modification was for an ARM. {$56000.00} the principal balance and {$16000.00} of the principal balance to be deferred for approximately 21 years due in a balloon payment. Ditech was not known to me until the court hearing and Ditech appeared in court to contest the stay of the Foreclosure Sale on XXXX. At this time I have received monthly statements from Ditech Mortgage. Is this a form of intimidation? Was this a MERS mortgage?

Complaint: I am a co-borrower on a Ditech mortgage with my ex-husband. This property has been his home exclusively since XX/XX/XXXX. He was diagnosed with XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, and I Immediately stepped in and took full responsibility for the 1st & 2nd mortgage. This is an extreme hardship, as the monthly payment is nearly {$5000.00}. I 've been trying to get a loan mod for 2 months, but Ditech still claims my application is " incomplete, '' despite my providing every document requested more than once. Here are my complaints : MISSING DOCUMENTS - I 've had to pay $ XXXX/page to fax XXXX docs to Ditech. I asked if they could be emailed or uploaded and was told " we 're not set up for that. '' It was n't until a phone call on XX/XX/XXXX that I learned I could upload docs to Ditech.com. I wasted {$240.00} on faxes Ditech denies receiving. Two days ago, I was asked for a hardship letter. That letter was included in my initial application XX/XX/XXXX. Today, Ditech.com shows documents missing that I 've sent repeatedly. But I spoke to a Ditech agent 30 minutes ago who said she could see them. This is a breakdown in the system at Ditech, but it as long as it goes on, my application is " incomplete, '' and nothing happens. CHANGING DOCUMENT REQUESTS - I got a letter on XX/XX/XXXX, claiming several documents were not received. I looked at my files and saw that everything requested was sent and faxed twice. I called Ditech and was given a totally different list of docs to submit that had NEVER been requested. I was also given a different fax number to use. I faxed the docs that day, and also mailed copies with a signature confirmation. CHANGING REPS - The name of my " assigned representative '' is always different. The extension provided does n't pick up, or goes to someone else 's phone. I even got a call from a rep who did n't leave an extension, and asked me to " call back. '' After an hour-long call to Ditech did n't turn up his extension, I sent an email on a hunch to his.name @ Ditech, and found him 3 days later. ABUSIVE PHONE CALL - On XX/XX/XXXX, I was informed that Ditech had " disengaged '' the loan mod process, due to " failure to provide documents. '' The letter suggested my other options included simply giving them the home. I called and got an agent who was unbelievably rude, shouting over me and telling me to " focus. '' She insisted no documents were in my file. I told her I faxed and mailed XXXX pages, and had the name of the person at Ditech who signed for it. She said " I do n't care. '' She asked what fax number I had, and I told her the number I was given on XX/XX/XXXX. She said that was an " administrative fax, '' and I should n't use it. I said " But I got that number from you. '' She replied, " You did n't get it from ME. '' I asked what fax I should use, and she said, " Read the letter. '' I said " I do n't have the same letter you do, '' at which point she said we were " spinning our wheels '' and " the past does n't matter. '' She put me on hold, then returned and said she had been looking in the wrong file because " You did n't tell me you had more than one loan. '' Things became more contentious, until I asked to speak to her supervisor. I had to ask a few times, as she was talking over me. Finally she said, " WITH PLEASURE '' and transferred me to a man who was very abrupt. At this point I was in tears, while he admonished me to " SLOW DOWN. '' Eventually he agreed to reopen the modification. I said I wanted to complain about the rep I spoke, to and said he would " Pull the phone call. '' I have n't heard another word about it. NO CONTACT - I 'm XXXX with my own Ditech mortgage. My ex has nothing ; his XXXX is n't even approved yet. To get some relief, I wrote to Ditech and asked that late fees be waived due to his XXXX. No one ever gave me the courtesy of a reply. I finally called Ditech and was told that only {$100.00} would be waived. I had no choice but to pay over {$1000.00} in " fees. ''
