Complaint: Discover credit card made an unauthorized balance transfer of {$25.00}, telling me not a word about it, just writing that they had thus resolved my dispute, when I first discovered the balance transfer, for which I had never asked. I have contacted the company no less than 25 times. Their so called Office of the President insist that they had investigated everything and all is in order. The last nonsensical letter has been received today, XX/XX/2018. WHO GAVE DISCOVER MAKE ANY BALANCE TRANSFERS FOR ME WITHOUT ASKING MY PERMISSION? They must remove that unauthorized BT from my account immediately, and fined, SEVERELY, fo this fraud

Complaint: This is a disbute on Discover Card.
On XX/XX/2017 I used my discover card to purchase a Coaching program for an online company I was involved in. The purchase was split between Discover card and another CC. The total was for {$25000.00}. I put down on this Discover card {$10000.00} and {$550.00} on XX/XX/2017. When I signed up for this program I was informed that I should be in contact with someone within 2 weeks to start my coaching. I sent numerous support tickets and 3 phone calls and a few e-mails before I was finally contacted in XXXX and was suppose to start as soon as I got a coach. I only got in touch with my coach finally in XXXX. We had ONE XXXX call to finally connect and the call was DISCONNECTED and the coach never called me back. I tried several times to contact him, and others that that were involved in this process. I have attached all the information I sent to Discover when I filed my dispute with them. I sent several e-mails to people in the company to find out what was going on and if I could not get this service I would like to cancel and get my money back. I never received and return call or e-mail from anyone all the way till XX/XX/2017. Well on XX/XX/2017 this company was shut down by the FTC. So now there is no way for me to ever get these services since the company was shut down for FRAUD. I contacted Discover when this first happened and they gave me Temporary Credit while they reviewed my disbute, but they also took back the credit stating it was a VALID CHARGE. How could this possibly be valid when I did not receive my services as you can see very clearly in my information.

Complaint: Posted a deposit check on XXXX XX/XX/2018 and the funds were made available on XXXX XX/XX/2018. So, i went through with a payment from my discover checking account and later I got a hold on XXXX XXXX for the same check depositd on XXXX XXXX ( as the bank represtative said ) but it was notified to me through a email on XXXX XX/XX/2018 XXXX, putting me in a situation where I could not cover for my paymnet on the either side of non suffecient fee as well as my payment to other source and was charged a fee of XXXX .
I had to talk to 3 of the customer care represtatives for 3 long hours befpre this problem could take effect and still they were unable to assit me accordingly and blamed me for the the fee charged.

Complaint: I put a downpayment of {$2300.00} using my Discover card on XX/XX/XXXX, to an online education through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.and to be scheduled to attend training event due to commence this year XXXX and the future which was canceled due to the FTC shut down. XXXX which is a global internet company and I started receiving ongoing business training nearly every week and including monthly newsletters about how to grow your business and achieve customer acquisitions in XX/XX/XXXX. I tried to contact XXXX after I learned that they were shut down by FTC but no luck, I contacted Discover to dispute my payment due to XXXX can not deliver anymore & all the basic learning are useless since XXXX is out of business. Discover stated that unfortunately, they can not help me with the dispute and suggested to find other resolution outside their company.

Complaint: My payment for my Discover credit card was due on XX/XX/XXXX. I forgot to pay the bill. I made a payment this morning at XXXX ( eastern time zone ).
I received a total of 4 calls since making the payment I received a call at XXXX and informed the gentleman that I made the payment and to check their records At XXXX they called me again I did not answer nor did they leave a message on my voice mail I received another call at XXXX and spoke to a supervisor XXXX who was claiming to be a supervisor and said that he put a call blocker on my account and that I would not be called again. He also acknowledged payment to my account. I told him to cease and desist communication with me and he told me I would not be called again I received another call at XXXX and spoke to XXXX who also claimed to be a supervisor I explained to her that I received a call this morning. I explained my call with XXXX that took place at XXXX. As I expressed my displeasure with what was going on, instead of apologizing, she tried to talk over me several times and justify the calls Calling 4 times in 1 day is just plain harassment, especially when I paid the amount due to make my account current and not only that, I paid the amount for next month as well Per the FDCPA law, they are also in violation for calling me when I told XXXX to cease contact with me and I was told by XXXX I would not be called again.
Again, this bill was paid at XXXX and they called me 4 times after this bill was paid.

Problem during payment process
Complaint: I am set up with an automatic payment program with Discover credit card.
I was set up on this program because I am unemployed and I am having trouble making the large payments. When I set up this program, they told me I could go ahead and make the payment myself at an earlier time and they would not process the auto payment scheduled.
On XX/XX/XXXX, I went on line and scheduled the payment for {$200.00} On XX/XX/XXXX, the payment cleared my XXXX account. On that same day, Discover attempted to take the money out of my account again two times. This caused me {$64.00} in NSF fees with my bank. This is an extreme hardship for me. I am barely able to pay my bills on time. I explained this to an agent and a supervisor at Discover and they will not reverse the fees. Please assist me in this matter. I do not even have gas money now. I work hard selling my personal belongings off to make ends meet and now this has happened ... .I am very very upset and not a happy customer. My credit is perfect.

Trouble with how payments are being handled
Complaint: On XX/XX/18 and one time before that I requested from Discover how they recalculate variable rate loans. Instead of just increasing the payment amount, they extended the loan term. This only benefits the lender not the borrower unless the borrower requests a lower payment. I have once again requested from Discover, my original loan documents to see what the agreement for recalculating variable rate loans was that I signed and also how they recalculate loan payments.

Complaint: On XX/XX/18 someone went to XXXX and charged {$5900.00} on my Discover card. The charge was not made by me. I have since been fighting to remove this charge from my account. I have been paying interest charges for a charge that i did not make. I have spoke to Discovers Fraud department numerous times only to be accused and treated rudely for something I did not do. No one at Discover will do anything to get this off my account. I filled a police report and have contacted them numerous times to get this straightened out with no luck. I'm in the process of buying a house so I have been paying for this charge in fear that I will ruin my credit and stop my process. Please Help!

Complaint: I have had a Discover credit card for years. I saved this card for emergencies. Imagine my surprise when I tried to use it and couldn't. I contacted the company and was told it was cancelled for inactivity! No balance was owed, nor late payments made. Just because I had not used it they closed my account and I have to repeat the application process to get a new card. Ridiculous!!!!!

Complaint: ON XX/XX/18 I CALLED DISCOVER, BECAUSE I SAW THAT THERE WAS A CHARGE ON MY CARD MADE BY A XXXX XXXX MADE ON XX/XX/18 FOR {$5500.00}, I LET THEM KNOW I DID NOT MAKE THIS CHARGE! NOT ONLY WAS I ON HOLD FOR A LONG TIME BUT WHEN THEY THOUGHT I COULD NOT HEAR THEM THEY MADE SOME COMMENTS ABOUT HOW I WOULDNT REMEBER THIS ANYWAY, BUT THEY TOOK MY COMPLAINT, AND CREDITED IT BACK TO ME, BUT THEN AFTER SOME TIME I GOT A LETTER CLAIMING THAT THEY WERE PUTTING IT BACK ON AND THAT NO FRAUD OCCURED. I AM VERY UNHAPPY NOT ONLY WITH HOW RUDE THEY WERE BUT THAT THEY THEN DID THIS TO ME.
