Complaint: I had opened a Coinbase account in 2015, when I was residing in the US and stopped using it that same year. My email account used for login and 2 step verification was deleted, so I lost access to my Coinbase account.
When I first contacted Coinbase to recover my account based on my personal information, they sent me an automatic message saying that they were having a heavy load of issues to solve, and giving me a list of links to try to solve my problem.
The only way for me to recover my account at this time is by contacting an actual customer service agent, who will look at the new account I created, and the documents I submitted for ID verification, and to link both of those accounts so I can recover my bitcoins.
I have been contacting them every other day for more than 3 months and got absolutely no answer from an actual person.
I need these Bitcoins back. This is my money we are talking about, not some joke.
I would appreciate some help, if possible.

Complaint: I have an account with CoinBase ( www.coinbase.com ) and tried to withdraw funds to close the account on XX/XX/XXXX. I was informed by Coinbase that funds would be in my account by Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX. No funds arrived so I created a trouble ticket ( ticket ref : XXXX ) with them on XX/XX/XXXX. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and I have received zero response to that trouble ticket and to further attempts at contacting Coinbase. They have published a telephone number for support but after 45 minutes my call had not been answered so I gave up.
I am seeing many posts online where people trying to withdraw funds from Coinbase are seeing many MONTHS delay in getting payment and I am trying to avoid it happening here.

Complaint: I can not access my coinbase account. www.coinbase.com will not let me log in. That account uses email address XXXXXXXXXXXX I created my account around XXXX 2017, was able to access it, deposited some funds, and purchased some Ethereum. About XXXX I lost the ability to access my account. I log in with my account email and password, both are accepted. Most of the time they request a confirmation code via the phone application Authenticator. Most of the time I do not get that notice.
Their help pages are of no help what-so-ever. They do not provide any reasonable method of contact.
I have been trading emails with XXXX who claims to be from Coinbase for 20 days now via an account at XXXX. Her responses are very slow and do not address the problem.
On my last attempt to log in I got the Authenticator notice, entered the number, it was accepted, but the web site said I have a difference computer and they need to verify it. They said so check my email. I received an email about how I can buy more currency but nothing what so ever about verifying my account.

Complaint: Several month ago I was referred to Coinbase.com by a coworker. I signed up and deposited funds from my credit card. Months pasted and I need to withdrawal my funds to pay bills. I found out at that point that I could not move my funds into a bank account because I 'm XXXX. There were many like me who were shocked and frustrated that this information was NEVER share by Coinbase.com with its XXXX customers. So infact they knew and never told us.
Here is the even more pressing issue, on XXXX XXXX I decided to transfer my bitcoin and ether to a XXXX exchange which would allow me then to transfer the funds in my XXXX bank account and pay some bills. I was able to do what I needed to do with the ether but the XXXX not so much. I somehow moved the funds from my wallet to my vault and then realized I had to move it back to my wallet so I could transfer it out to the XXXX exchange. Again on XXXX XXXX this occurred and it said that their will be a XXXX approval period. Today its XXXX XXXX - that is XXXX business, so 15 days past the XXXX approval period. I contacted Coinbase.com to let them know the issue and for XXXX messages I sent I would get an auto response not even addressing the issue.
What is most troubling is that my XXXX is nowhere it seems since XXXX XXXX, when I moved it from my wallet to the vault by mistake and then tried to move it back to the wallet, I noticed there was no balance anymore in my vault or wallet.
Then I finally got someone who said they are working with a specialist to fix the issue and that was over 10 days ago and I never heard back from them and you ca n't respond to their email you have to submit a request and let me tell you they try to keep you from doing that as well. I have never experienced anything like this where everyday I contact them and get knowhere. I am about to miss a car payment that will effect my credit and this should and could have been avoided weeks ago. I have no faith that Coinbase.com will fix this in time for me, its been over XXXX weeks. An important fact to is that the value of bitcoin has dropped significantly since XXXX XXXX and I feel helpless to get access to my money. This is so far from being right and I 'm unsure what the FCC really does to prevent crooks like this from hurting alot of people.
Even if this get rectified, I will still miss my payment, continue to be stressed over something that could have been dealt with properly. They clearly do n't care at all and these types of people make one loose faith in humanity not to mention the so called authorities that are supposed to govern or ensure no wrong doing. Not sure what is going on this planet but the level of greed is only growing and seems nobody really cares. Please help.

Complaint: Coinbase transfer XXXX/XXXX/XXXX for {$200.00} twice {$1.00} {$1.00} Total : {$410.00} XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I was trying to reach XXXX technical support by telephone about a XXXX charge of {$130.00}. The person on the phone took " virtual '' control of my computer. It was my fault for providing my bank information and debit card number. I realized shortly after that I had been scammed. Immediately I went in person to XXXX XXXX XXXX to dispute the charges. XXXX XXXX contacted me by email about these charges and initially provided me with " provisional credit. '' The XXXX XXXX XXXX Debit Dispute Department was unprofessional in the follow up contact with me. Initially I had contact with XXXX XXXX, a representative of the Debit Dispute Department via email. I was assured that most matters where resolved within 90 days. XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I discovered that my ( new - changing debit cards after the scam ) debit card was declined at a local vendor Friday night, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. I went to my nearest ATM to discover my account balance was negative {$380.00}.
XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I received an unknown call on my XXXX from in XXXX, Texas at XXXX XXXX. I did not answer the call. The caller tried again at XXXX XXXX. and when I answered all I could hear was my voice echoing back. I hung up the phone. I found out Saturday, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX that XXXX XXXX XXXX had tried to reach me regarding the reversal of the " provisional credit. '' I received a written document that Saturday from XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX that is documented XXXX/XXXX/XXXX that the XXXX, Oklahoma XXXX XXXX XXXX Monday, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I took this issue and documents to the bank where my account was established in XXXX, Oklahoma. I was told in a meeting that Monday by the bank president, XXXX XXXX pointed that I " agreed to these charges. '' XXXX XXXX was demeaning and referred to my situation as a " little whoopsie. '' His only solution was that the bank meet me halfway and provide me with a refund of {$200.00} and that I was still be responsible for {$200.00}. When I requested 24 hours to think about this offer, I was told it would be taken off the table immediately.
Since this episode with XXXX XXXX, I have moved my bank account to the XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Oklahoma. I have banked with this institution for over 20 years. I had no indication that I would be treated in such an unprofessional manner. I did not receive any mailed correspondence from the bank. The last email that I had received from the bank debit dispute department had been emailed XXXX/XXXX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX.
It would cause great difficulty to move to another banking institution with my electronic pay from the XXXX of Oklahoma and with my electronic bills. I am still unsatisfied with the outcome of this situation. {$130.00} XXXX dispute with XXXX ( that was resolved and was refunded XXXX/XXXX/XXXX ) cost me over {$410.00}.
I would appreciate if the scammer ( who is unknown to me ), XXXX, Coinbase and XXXX XXXX XXXX be made accountable.

Contacting support results in no reply, or when a rely is present it says, we are working on your request. I think after nearly two weeks they have had more than enough time to deal with re-enabling an account.
All I want now is my money refunded, and to never have anything to do with these charlatans again.
Although I am aware the are supposed to be one of the biggest XXXX exchanges in the US, I feel they do n't have the ability to to use a XXXX pun organize a XXXXXXXX XXXX in a brewery.
Apologies for my wording in the previous statement, but these people need to be dealt with, and there license to trade be removed, as they are a liability to anyone, and do n't seem to care either way.
Yours Sincerely.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX the XXXX/XXXX/2017 wire transfered XXXX USD to Coinbase Inc. the XXXX/XXXX/2017 Coinbase Inc. Notified by email and their support platform tha the wire transfer would be reversed in 3-5 labor days.
So far I 've had only a repetitive response " we are working on it, we are busy, etc.. '' reaching them requires hours of phone call waiting and so far no response from their support platform except their " automatic '' follow up.
We consider its completely unacceptable to hold our money for 10-12 days when the electronic wire transfer takes MAX 3 days, and in 90 % of the cases less then 24 hours.
We are worried our funds are being using for their regular operations and holding it as long as possible before proceeding with the reveral.

Complaint: I sent a Wire Transfer on XXXX XXXX, 2017 in the sum of {$5000.00} to Coinbase and received this email the following day : " XXXX replied : Hi there, This email is regarding a wire that was sent to your Coinbase account.
Unfortunately it appears that the legal name on the wire we received is the name of your bank. Please work with your bank to correct this.
In order to wire funds to us, the name on the wire must match the name on the Coinbase account. Because of this we will be returning the wire, and the funds should arrive in your bank account within a 3-5 business days.
Moving forward, please wire funds from a personal bank account held in your name to avoid any wire processing delays.
Thanks for choosing Coinbase! '' It was stated that the funds will arrive back to me within 3-5 days, but as of today I have not received the fund back in my account. There is no reply when contacting support or any information as to where the money has gone. It is a fraud that this company is able to withhold money indefinitely without providing any means of contacting someone who is able to correct the issue.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, 2017 sent by wire transfer $XXXXX to Coinbase's bank, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NY XXXX.
I printed the Deposit USD form with all the appropriate information, took it to my banks so that they could perform the wire transfer. I have this form in my possession as well as receipt from the bank documenting the transaction.
I have in my possession the Fed IMAD wire number that documents this transaction. I provided this to Coinbase.
My legal name on the bank account matches my legal name given to Coinbase.
In Coinbase's instructions on their website, I was assured that this was the fastest way to fund my account and that funds would be credited when received.
Four days later, after numerous attempts to contact their Customer Service department by their web form and by telephone call, the only information that I can get is that my case has been "escalated" and that I should here from a "specialist" in the coming WEEKS! Yes, weeks.
