Complaint: I made a wire transfer that should have taken 1 day to come in for {$1900.00} to XXXX using my XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX account. XXXX sent the wire over and XXXX has the money. I followed step by step and walked through with a support agent on the phone and they told me I did everything right.
Their response was through email : Hi there XXXX, Im happy to look into this for you. Can you provide the following information?
-Date transaction initiated -Name on the depositing account ( please include all names if its a joint account, or business account ) -The amount sent -IMAD number/Reference number for the transaction This will assist us in locating your deposit.
Thanks, XXXX Support Team -- -- -- I replied back 5 mins later : Date transaction initiated : X/XX/2018 Name on depositing account : XXXX XXXX Amount Sent : {$1900.00} Reference Number : -- -- -- -- - ( not sure if i should include this ) -- -- 4 days later no response from their team and they refuse to give an ETA on when the wire will transfer when it was supposed to be a 1 day transfer. I even paid the extra {$10.00} fee for the 1 day transfer, and now we border 4 days, no response, no ETA, no communication.
This is ridiculously absurd because tons of people have had issues with XXXX wire transfers not coming in through as promised. Reading up on some stories, it took a 1 day wire transfer 1 month to come through and several other testimonials with things like this.
Please help me get what was promised from the company XXXX Thank you, Best, XXXX XXXX

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2017 I was traveling in XXXX for the week. I tried logging on to my account to see how things were looking, and I was locked out. The message I see after I log in is:
Our records indicate that you have attempted to log in to your Coinbase account from a country in which Coinbase is prohibited by law from doing business (XXXX) per the sanctions imposed by the U.S. Treasury Departments Office of Foreign Assets Control or other governing bodies. As a result, your account has been restricted.
If you are not a resident of a sanctioned country or otherwise have received this notification in error, please visit https://support.coinbase.com for assistance.provide us with a copy of a current, government-issued ID and proof of your current address, such as a utility bill or rental agreement.
If, however, Coinbase concludes that you reside in a prohibited region or are violating applicable sanctions in any way, your account will be closed and Coinbase will take any other actions required by law.
Additional information regarding account logins from prohibited regions is available here.
However, their documentation says that if you try to log in from a sanctioned country, a message will block you from logging in until you return to your home country.
This is just not the case. It's been a MONTH, and I've been unable to log in.
I opened a support XX/XX/XXXX. I got an automated reply, then an actual response a few days later, saying that I'd need to send my proof of US residency in, and that I should stand by for the link to which I'd need to verify my identity to. That's the last I heard about my case.
I tried opening a new "fraud" case, which got someone's attention, but only resulted in them telling me not to open multiple tickets for the same case.
I've wanted to transact, and I've been unable to. Coinbase has essentially hijacked my account and caused me to lose thousands of dollars.

Complaint: I made a XXXX transfer of XXXX EURO from my XXXX XXXX account to Coinbase on XXXX XXXX 2018. I have since discovered that XXXX uses XXXX to process its XXXX payments. I have also subsequently discovered that Coinbase do not accept XXXX transfers from XXXX, although Coinbase failed to indicate this. I understand my transfer was therefore rejected by Coinbase, however it was returned to XXXX without the required account information for it to come back to my XXXX account.
I have been informed by XXXX that the ONLY way I can get the money back is if Coinbase completes and sends me an XXXX form with the required information for the money to be returned to my XXXX account from XXXX.
I have tried to contact XXXX repeatedly via email and telephone to resolve this but have not had any response as yet. It has been weeks and I am very concerned about the whereabouts of my money and quite frankly the lack of concern and assistance from XXXX.

Complaint: I have been defrauded by Coinbase ...
On XXXX XXXX 2017 I sent them a {$30000.00} wire which five days later I received an email from them stating that the wire would be reversed because it came from my business account and not my personal account. A week after I still had n't received the wire so I sent an email to Coinbase support team and they took exactly one month to respond! The response basically states that due to high volume of outgoing wires, my wire may have been delayed, however, all backlogged wires have since been sent and they are closing my case! As of today I still have not received the wire ... Its been a month and a half! I am not sure what else to do as there is no one to talk to with their company and ZERO support. I am begging you for your assistance. I want to know I did n't lose my {$30000.00}. Please respond, update me, or reverse the wire already as promised! I NEED this money and I NEED IT ASAP! I want to file a lawsuit but not sure which attorney to contact. If you are aware of a pending class action, please let me know. Thank you CFPB!

Attempted to contact ~20times XXXX and Coinbase customer service via email, support email, twitter, and phone. Coinbase responded ONE time on XX/XX/XXXX with an automated response not pertaining to my issue.
Name of Coinbase account is seperate from Wife 's bank account name. This may be causing the issue. If that is the case, we need a resolution to the funds.

I 've contacted Coinbase/XXXX by multiple means. I 've submitted a claim on their website, called in, and escalated my case via their services, but have yet to hear back about my money.
My Case Number is # XXXX, and that should provide all the information that is necessary for the company to identify me and my account.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I used Coinbase to buy and sell Bitcoin. I have over 200 ( I 'm a XXXX citizen, but Coinbase are a US based company ) in my account which I now wish to withdraw.
On XX/XX/XXXX, I followed Coinbase 's instructions on how to verify my bank account. This required the sending of a SEPA transfer in Euros from my account to Coinbase using a specific reference code. A total of 6 was sent, in accordance with their instructions for minimum values. Coinbase claims that it will take 1-2 days to verify a bank account. I followed their instructions to the letter, and when my SEPA transfer showed up in my Coinbase account the stipulated reference was clearly visible.
I grew concerned after 4-5 days that I had not heard anything, but gave Coinbase the benefit of the doubt given that it was XXXX. However, after 10 days I decided to get in touch to check the progress of my account being verified. Coinbase 's website makes it very difficult to get in touch with them. The only mechanism for 'contact ' is a bot helpdesk which was unable to give any advice on the matter at hand. When I did eventually find an email address onXX/XX/XXXX, the email bounced because it is no longer in use. A response from Coinbase gave a separate email to contact.
I emailed this new address on XX/XX/XXXX to request an update as to when my bank account would be verified. My request was very clear - it stated that I had followed their instructions, successfully deposited a SEPA transfer, and that I just needed my account to be verified. I got a response that same day from an employee called XXXX, but it simply listed the instructions on how to verify an account - they did not make any attempt to address the specific issues outlined in my correspondence. I responded to XXXX within 15 minutes to clarify my request and ask that they simply confirm when my account would be verified. I then received a response the following day ( XX/XX/XXXX ) stating that my case had been escalated to a specialist. That is the last I heard from Coinbase.
I emailed them chasing a response on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, anXX/XX/XXXX, and have sent multiple XXXX/private DMs to their @ Coinbase and @ CoinbaseSupport accounts. They are simply refusing to respond.
At this point I am very distressed by this matter as I now believe Coinbase to be a scam company who are stealing money from innocent investors. Screenshots of my Coinbase account showing verified receipts of SEPA transfers with dates are attached as evidence of my having followed their guidance correctly, and to versify my account of the dates in this complaint.
