Complaint: I have lived in my home for 30 years and am in danger of losing it at auction due to the actions of my lender Caliber Loans. I have endured extraordinary hardship and have slowly rebuilt my life and situation. However, Caliber has refused to open a review of my current financial situation, has not assigned a case manager or dedicated contact and has told me the only options is to short sale or reinstate the loan in full, which is not possible. I do n't understand how they can refuse to even CONSIDER working with me or helping me or looking at my current financial situation, which has changed considerably since my last review. They received millions in bailout dollars, I thought they were supposed to look at my information and give me a chance. I refinanced into this loan in 2007. A little over a year later when my wife turned XXXX she decided to take off and go on the road as a XXXX, abandoning me and the kids. XXXX. There were long periods of unexplained absences and several months later I had divorce papers drafted. XXXX At that time I had been taking care of the kids and making the mortgage payment since she had deserted us six months earlier. However the police came and we went to court. I could not afford an Attorney and my wife was granted XXXX as well as control of the house. I was forced to leave the house and my kids and had to move into an apartment. My employer found out about the XXXX and I lost my job as well. I eventually found a job XXXX and had to XXXX in my spare time to sell it in order to keep myself fed. I obviously was not in a position to make the mortgage payment. During that time my wife never made the mortgage payment, and let the house, the lawn and the pool go. I started my own company doing right sizing -- I am brought in to save them money and have slowly built this up into a good income source. I fought the XXXX and was eventually able to get back into the house and was able to get wife out and divorce finalized. I tried to put my life back in order XXXX step at a time. I contacted XXXX to see what could be done and at XXXX point I was apparently offered an interest only modification. I found out about this after the fact, I did not see the paperwork until the offer had expired and I suspect that my ex wife who was still lurking around at that time had something to do with that. I have tried since then to re-engage with Caliber and have not made any progress. My business and income have continually increased and now my son who lives in the house is working as well and contributing his share. If Caliber were to actually take the time to review me for all retention options, something they are REQUIRED to do due to their acceptance of government bailout funds they would see that I fit into guidelines for assistance. Their continued refusal to even give me a seat at the negotiating table is outrageous.

Complaint: I started a review for a modification with Caliber on XXXX/XXXX/2015. I was still in review for the modification on XXXX/XXXX/2015 with all documents that had been requested submitted to them and nothing additional was needed. My authorized XXXX party was informed by an agent at Caliber named XXXX XXXX, that my file was declined with the reason of an upcoming sale date in less than 15 days! They did not allow for a complete review and just closed by review simply because they wanted to foreclosure. This is not a valid reason for denial of a modification review that started in XXXX! Not only that but the representative XXXX stated on a recorded line to my XXXX party that they have pulled that " the client can not do anything at this point besides reinstate the loan and no one can help them. '' Then when he was reminded that this was a recorded line he hung up. PLEASE HELP!

Complaint: After numerous attempts, I have not been able to get information from Caliber Home Loans regarding the final payment process ( draw ), and loan finalization, on my FHA XXXX loan. These delays in providing information on the final payment process and loan finalization have prevented the contractor from getting paid in a timely manner ( in an FHA XXXX loan, the bank pays the contractor ), prevented me from being reimbursed thousands of dollars that was outlayed at loan inception in order to maintain the Loan-to-Value ratio, and has prevented me from being able to refinance this loan with a different bank at current lower rates. TO REVIEW -I have an FHA XXXX loan, initiated on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, originally contracted with, and financed by, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX, XXXX, MI, XXXX. Despite the fact that the loan was unfinished and work remained to be done, on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, the loan was sold to Caliber Home Loans, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, TX XXXX. At that time, due to a lack communication from Caliber Home Loans, and their refusal to fulfill my request for current account information after 2 months and several requests, I filed a complaint against Caliber Home Loans on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. ( CFPB Complaint Number # XXXX ). That delay caused the contractor to file a lien against my house. CURRENTLY -In late XXXX XXXX, the contractor finished the required work, and an inspection was done. The FHA/HUD inspector has also not received replies to his email inquiries. On Tuesday, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I emailed my contact from XXXX, a third party advisor to Caliber Home Loans, who had been involved with this XXXX loan after the transfer, and was familiar with process, and I requested guidance on how to proceed with the final payment process ( draw ), and finalization of the loan. On Friday, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I received some details from the representative, which he CC 'd to the Caliber Home Loans contacts, and who indicated that aside from the few details he provided, he would not be able to assist further, as he was no longer with that company. On Tuesday, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, having not received a reply from Caliber Home Loans to that email string, I emailed my XXXX contacts of record at Caliber Home Loans, requesting information on how to proceed with the final payment process and finalization of my XXXX loan. ( see attached email copy ) Having not received a response by Thursday, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I sent another email to XXXX Caliber Home Loans contacts, referencing the original request to finalize the XXXX loan, and asking that they provide a response to ensure that I was emailing to the correct address, and that they remained the contact people. ( see attached email copy ) On Friday, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I received an email response from XXXX of the Caliber Home Loans contacts, who apologized for the delay, saying that he would look into the account and call me with the details. ( see attached email copy ) Roughly a week later, on Thursday, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, still having not received any information, I again emailed Caliber Home Loans, requesting the information necessary to finalize the loan. ( see attached email copy ) Later that day, I received a phone call from the Caliber Home Loans contact, who said that the bank had partnered with a new third-party company ( XXXX ) to assist them in administering XXXX loans. He indicated that he would review my loan with XXXX of their representatives, and contact me the following day, Friday, XXXX XXXX, or by Monday, XXXX XXXX, XXXX at the latest. Having not heard from Caliber Home Loans by Wednesday, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I emailed them again, asking for information on how to proceed with the final payment process. ( see attached email copy XXXX As of today, Wednesday, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I have not received any information, on how to proceed with the final payment process and finalize the loan.

Complaint: Caliber Home loans has claimed to have made payment on my property taxes. This is incorrect. I 've asked them to provide proof of payment ( reciept with the parcel number XXXX 's ) and they are yet to do so. I 'm now being charged escrow to pay them back. They keep looking into it by asking the same question, " was a XXXX payment made? '' and the answer is no. I paid it, I 'm not sure where their payment went.

This is the same harassing contraction that I had to go through last month with the same mortgage company ( Caliber Home Loans ). I received an escrow analysis dated XXXX/XXXX/XX/XX/2015 which informed me of a shortage of {$2000.00} on XXXX/XXXX/XX/XX/2015 and my payments will increase from {$770.00}, which I have paid on time for the last XXXX months, to {$1000.00}. This is due to XXXX increase in premiums to {$3000.00}. Complaint: My wife & I had a FHA backed XXXX yr mortage serviced by XXXX XXXX XXXX, signed in XXXX, XXXX. We filed for Chapter XXXX bankruptcy protection in XXXX XXXX, including our mortgage in the filing. All mortgage payments & arrearages were being serviced per our Trustee 's Agreement on time, & without prejudice, even as we attempted to refinance our mortgage to a much more advantageous rate. We finally found someone to do an FHA Streamline on our mortgage, when we were informed that XXXX XXXX XXXX filed an insurance claim in XXXX XXXX against our FHA MIP due to our loan " being delinquent. '' Our mortgage was then " picked up '' by Caliber Home Loans, whom we were informed would be our new loan servicer. We were also told we no longer had an FHA Loan, according to Caliber. We have no idea how we could be taken out of our FHA loan-preventing our Streamline Refinance- & put into some " XXXX status '' as we were informed that our mortgage is now in. In addition, we are still paying FHA MIP payments in our mortgage payments on our mortgage since Caliber took over our mortgage, as well as we have yet to have our mortgage payments be reduced after a significant drop in our homeowners policy as well.
