Complaint: Company response to previous CFPB complaint, raised additional issue.
Although my prior CFPB complaint with the company was responded to swiftly, the comlaint was closed without addressing the issues.
The company miscategorized the previous complaint as being focused on whether or not I liked the vehicle and was able to voluntarily enter into the agreement when buying it.
This raises additional issues, and as CFPB closed the prior complaint, it appears I must enter a new complaint to address these XXXX issues.
Although I very much like the car, now that the Company 's prior response has raised the issue of whether or not I voluntarily entered the sales agreement : Oklahoma law seems to limit " who may contract '' in title XXXX, of oklahoma state law codified.
As the company has chosen to make this the issue, I am deeply concerned that as a consumer who has made all payments in a timely manner, that I will be unable to keep the product purchased ( a 2013 XXXX ) simply because of having been adjudicated as insane.
Since the Americans with XXXX act includes persons regarded as having a XXXX as protected by its provisions, I feel as though the company may be handling my complaint in an unlawful manner.
Would a consumer not regarded as being XXXX have their complaints addressed properly instead of having the complaint issue in focus being shifted to their ability to enter into a contract or perform other daily life activities.

Complaint: Predatory lending - would like someone to look into a loan on a car note, which was at 20+ % rate. Tried to get a copy from the dealer, but the dealer closed. Contacted the credit lending company, but the case was referred to collections and a judgment was placed on my account. To this date, that bad debt is affecting my employment opportunities in the Federal sector.

Complaint: I purchased a car with what was described as in house financing, using XXXX references, a hotel address that i had been at for one day, while unemployed and having an interruption in my plans for a place of residence.
The car dealership approved me. But misrepresented the terms for repayment. So I filed a prior request. The not actually in house finance company sent me a copy of the application packet they processed. From this I learned that my address, downpayment amount had been falsified and that they manufactured afditional references from their employees.
Upon contacting the finance company, they told me that since they had responded to my complaint they wouldnt bother to address my concerns of fraud. They suggested contacting the CEO 's office again, and when I did so, I was instead told of his desire to have my front door kicked in. These sorts of threats on the part of XXXX XXXX make it very difficult to address the concerns with Credit Acceptance Corp .
I am under the impression that their XXXX XXXX filing with the SEC describes their dealer purchase program where they allow dealers to utilize their warehouse lines to finance new loans and then immediately transfer up the notes. From the above I can surmize only that Credit Acceptance Corp actively encourages fraudulent practiced on the part of their dealer purchase program members, or would otherwise be more alarmed by reports of specific fraud.
Additionally, as a XXXX veteran who has been adjuciated as insane, I fear that I am more prone to being targeted by such predatory corporations. While the purchase took place in a state with laws designed to protect the insane, it seems that thus far the state laws failed to prorect me as a consumer.

Complaint: I have an auto loan through credit acceptance, I have monthly payment due for the XXXX of each month. I did have auto-pay set up for this monthly payment however, I canceled the auto pay because payment was being taken from my account but not documented, I ended up being behind 2 monthly payments as they stated. I received nothing in the mail about this or any phone calls. I actually called them to take auto payment off, at this time they informed me i was 2 months behind even though my bank statements showed differently. They then informed me that they do n't contact their customers with these issues. I informed them that I would make the required payments as soon as possible. The next day they repossessed my vehicle, I have to pay the required fees and payment to get my car return, they completely trashed my car, kept personal items including my title and all personal documents in the glove compartment and have yet to return them. This company will not allow me to set-up payments according to my pay periods and because, of this I am always paying late payments. They will call me over XXXX times a day from unknown numbers, from block numbers, numbers from different states and leave automatic voicemails everyday. Everytime I speak to someone to set-up a payment, the next day they continue, no XXXX documents any of the calls or payment arrangements I have made. I have been hung up on, threats to have my car repossessed even though I have never been a month or more behind. I have been asked personal information about my banking accounts and working situation that they should n't be asked, and when I inform them of the harassment I am hung up on. I have asked them to no longer contact me by phone but by mail and they refuse to do so, they stated that they do n't have a mailing system set-up to do so. All my payments are made through XXXX XXXX and till this date I have yet to receive any documentation in mail from this company regrading my loan, balance, or any issues relating to my account. Instead I get these never ending calls. My account has never been over a month late if anything 2 weeks late and I still get these threats. This is the worst auto loan company ever, I am currently trying to get it refinanced through a bank or credit union.

Complaint: My complaint is that I purchased a truck back in XXXX 2009 from a dealership I put down on a down payment to get the truck, during my time with the truck from the start I was having mechanical problems, After maybe 3 mo I had credit card fraud which caused me to not be able to make the payment for that mo. So they then remotely XXXX the start engine on the truck so I could not drive it. So within a couple of weeks they repossessed it, an offered me in a letter to buy it back at auction which I could not buy it back because I did not have the money to make the payment let alone to be able to purchase it back for the remaining balance after auction, so in further complaint they sent a garnishment summons to my job stating that I owe them {$3100.00} less the amount they sold the truck at auction. Ok now the question I would like answered is what physical money did they loan me ( put money in my hands check or cash ) that was paid towards the purchase of the truck, an did they not get there property back when they repossessed the truck an sold it at auction. So what warrants me to owe them physical money an for them to hide behind the courts to have them issue a judgment against me for physical money they never give me any way an to take money from me, here is something to think about : when you need to rent a car you have to put down a deposit. when you retain the car you then pay for the usage of the car, you return the car you get your deposit back. physical money an property is being exchanged I feel it is the same concept as leasing a car.
