Complaint: I am filing a complaint about a scam debt collection agency named Cavalry Portfolio Services , LLC. I looked up the address ( XXXX. XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NY XXXX ) on the Better Business Bureau site and it came up invalid. There is also another address to make payments ( XXXX. XXXX XXXX, XXXX, AZ XXXX ). I received a letter from them asking for {$6200.00} for a XXXX XXXX XXXX / XXXX XXXX XXXX account ( XXXX ) that I 've never had or owe. I would never make a payment as they ca n't fool me. I feel this agency definitely needs to be investigated as I do n't want them to scam innocent citizens.

Complaint: There is this debt collection agency, who has harassed me for 5 years now for a debt I really no nothing about, but to make a long story short, they too money out of ( 2 ) of my bank accounts twice, the total for this credit card ( suppose to be for {$XXXX} they have too over {$3000.00} dollars from my banks for this so called one debt, I cant open a bank account with out them sending a writ of execution paper to me and my bank over an over again, there are stealing my funds from my savings and checking accounts this is not fair, I tried talking to them, and all they say to me is they will continue to take funds out of my accounts, even tho I did not know of this, account, they have over an over took enough of my XXXX to cover that amount several times, I want action, I want this to stop, also I am under Doctor 's care, for a XXXX Transplant I do n't need the stress, if I can I would like to sue them for thief, unjustified amounts, harassment, deception, Thank you in advance

Complaint: This complaint is a continuation of a previous complaint against Cavalry Portfolio Services wherein I requested that they send me validation of an alleged debt. I do not have a contract with Cavalry Portfolio Services and to date they have not been able to prove otherwise. After my previous complaint was closed due to Cavalry stating they would mail me validation of the debt Cavalry Portfolio Services sent a letter to me dated XXXX XXXX, 2017 attaching a copy of billing statement. I requested that Cavalry send me a copy of an agreement bearing my signature wherein I made a promise to pay Cavalry Portfolio Services. To date I have not received this information. I do not have a contract with Cavalry Portfolio Services and I would like the negative listing removed from my credit report with all three credit reporting bureaus.

Complaint: I have attempted to settle a debt that was owed several times. All of my attempts were either ignored or rejected. I was sued for a much higher amount than I owed because they kept on accruing interest after I had made several attempts to settle or to arrange a monthly payment plan that I can afford. They brought me to court and I had no representation and did not know what I was doing at all. They bamboozled me into accepting a monthly payment plan based on an inflated figure and the payment is more than I can afford per month. I will be paying this debt forever while they collect money on a debt that I do not owe the full amount for. It is wrong and deceptive.

Complaint: I 've sent multiple letters to this agency about this not being my account. After being advised by identitytheft.gov I 've completed and sent a fraud affidavit via certified mail. I can see they received it but nothing has changed. See supporting documents. even the USPS tracking. I am a victim of identity theft and noticed a collection from Cavalry Portfolio. I 've attempted to dispute multiple times, however, no response on their end. Not sure what else to do. The police department told me to contact the federal trade commission which I wrote a formal complaint against Cavalry portfolio in regards to this matter. The FTC also instructed me to complete and theft affidavit through identity theft.gov. Attached is my document. Thank you

Complaint: When I pulled my credit after getting denied for a loan inXX/XX/XXXX, I noticed that there was a collection on my credit that I was not aware of and have never received any information pertaining to this debt or the opportunity to dispute and or validate prior to XX/XX/XXXX. I filed a dispute with all three credit bureaus asking for validation of the debt. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter stating that they received a letter of dispute but that the dispute was lacking any specific information to conduct an investigation. I attempted XXXX more times through the credit bureaus and each time it come back validated but no information was giving as to how it was validated as well as what documentation was use to validate this account. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent a letter via certified mail to this company asking for specific information regarding the validity of this account and again I received another letter stating the same information that they received a letter of dispute and was lacking any specific facts when the letter listed asked for specific information. This company has had almost XXXX months to provide me some type of information to validate this debt and has not provided me with anything. Their lack of cooperation is causing a serious hardship to my financial situation and a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I have attached the letter that have been sent, the one that is addressed to XXXX was sent to the other bureaus addressed accordingly but this is to show what was sent showing that I asked for physical proof.
