Complaint: I deposited a money order through the ATM, the system said it was validated. They said that they did a chargeback on the money because it had been altered. I used my card on the XXXX that evening around XXXX and I did not see an NSF charge in the app. When I tried to use my card on the morning of the XXXX my transaction was declined for XXXX dollars. I immediately went to the bank to deposit funds. When I checked the app again, they had added a {$35.00} NSF fee. I wasn't notice and was not given a 24 hour window to deposit funds to any transactions. Their system is automatically generating NSF fees with out an alert or 24 hour window to deposit funds.

Complaint: I have been lied about a refund from the pending deposit by 3 different CSR 's. I have patiently waiting for my * {$790.00} and been giving 4 different times dates the check was mailed. Its been 1 month 2 wks and in the first week of XXXX was told 10 working days and nothing. I called and was told 14-17 working days so I waited. then I was told account just closed on XX/XX/28 and ity be 10 working days again and check to was mailed. I waited past 10 working and no funds so I called CSR and was told it was XXXX and claim it and it was sent back and couldn't provide me with tracking # and was getting answers from a department that I couldn't speak to for some reason after being told 15 more days today. We are retired we are always home and I called today to be told that internal management said which only speaks to employees 15 more days!! I have a small business and which relies on these funds to keep going and because of this, it will be closing. I would use this money to take my XXXX son 's needs which have helped out for years and now we suffer and figure out things because of your bank 's inconsistency and CSR 's that lie and tell whatever. All is my money back not yours that we worked for and there shouldn't any excuse! I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE FEDERAL RESERVE AND ATTORNEY GENERAL YOUR AREA. I have been pushed around so much by a bank and sure took out fees to be treated like this. I want some to call me that make decisions and tell me where I can pick my funds. Complaint: I looked on XXXX XXXX and saw that there was an extra credit card being reported. This account was opened XX/XX/XXXX. The individual was making payments consistently up until XX/XX/XXXX. At this time I was added as an authorized use to this account without my permission. I would never add myself to anyone 's financials, I won't even be on the same phone plan as someone else. I called Capital One, who issued the card, to remove myself from this account. They will not tell me who owns the account that I am an authorized user on " to protect their identity ''. What about the protection of MY identity? Someone has ruined my credit and I can't find out who. I would like to take this up legally with the person but I have no idea who it is. It only shows me that it is a Capital One Card, the user is listed as " un-designated '', it opened XX/XX/XXXX, the last payment was XX/XX/XXXX, the minimum payment is {$61.00}, and that i am an authorized user. It is maxed out at 147 % credit utilization and a balance of {$730.00} They told me they would gladly accept a payment from me but couldn't tell me ANY other information. I asked to be removed and she told me to cut up my card ( I do not have an authorized user card for this account, but someone else does along with the primary card holder who is unknown )

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX received call we let go to voicemail claiming to be Capital One. Stated : " There was a problem with your account, but we have resolved it. If you have any further questions, call ( phone number given ). We ignored it as a scam call. XX/XX/XXXX received bill from Capital One and were surprised to see two new names authorized to use our account, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. The week prior, a collection company letter was received about a overdue XXXX XXXX XXXX bill for a XXXX XXXX we returned to sender. Called Capital One and eventually got to the Fraud Dept. New cards would be issued to us, but subsequent email to us stated new cards would also be issued to XXXX and XXXX. Called Cap One again and were assured that is not true, but no one could state why the email was sent saying otherwise. File a fraud alert with XXXX. Filed identity theft report with local police. They said to get the address where the cards were sent would be helpful if they are local. I called Cap One and Fraud Dept reported these fraudulent cards were sent to XXXX, Wisconsin, but claimed federal law protects the confidentiality of the crooks who stole our identity. I was given another number and a fraud report number : XXXX. I was given a phone number to text. No response.

One $XXXX after they did a 60-day review of the investigation and put $XXXX back on my car so I had I told them why when they gave me $XXXX available credit and why was I being charged and they said Complaint: Hello, I've had an issue with Capital One internet services. I found out through my Experian credit monitoring that I was behind on a payment. I never received noticed of this payment being due either by email, letter, or phone. I thought that the balance was at XXXX and I never use the card. I had cut the card up long ago. When trying to resolve the issue, it's been nearly impossible to deal with their online interface. The only way to log in to my account after forgetting my password was with the CCV code on the back. Obviously, not having the card, I didn't have this information. I've been dealing with over 5 different customer representatives to try to regain access to my account, and it's taken hours. A huge problem was that the company wanted to verify my account information using only text messaging. As someone who lives in a rural area, i don't receive text messages, and was forced to consent to use them as means of communications regarding my account, despite not being able to receive them. I find this an unfair disadvantage for just trying to maintain my account information as someone who doesn't live within cell range. I rely on satellite internet, but standard messages do not go through. As someone just wishing to receive timely information about my account, and someone who's had a spotless payment record up until this point, I find this mark against my credit as an unfair penalty for not living in more urban environments. The amount of my time spent trying to resolve this issue was absolutely ridiculous, and at no point was I ever offered the opportunity to resolve it via Email or other forms of internet communication.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX my employer notified me that an earnings and wage order ( EWO ) had been received and that my pay was going to be garnished. I was shocked, horrified, and dismayed because I was unaware of owing money. Once I received the information form my company 's payroll department ; I began trying to go back to the beginning to reconstruct or make sense of how the EWO was issued. It turns out that Capitol One sold my old debt from approximately XX/XX/XXXX to a third-party debt collector, which proceeded to retain legal counsel who a filed a claim, went to court, and won a judgement against me ; I had no knowledge of this court hearing because I was never notified or served in-person or via US mail. I called the phone number listed on the documents I obtained from my employer 's payroll department to make inquiries but was not helped or given any useful information. Yet, I was persistent and finally was successful obtaining documentation of the original amount of the debt owed to Capitol One, all types of fees ( which the person who took my call could not understand in order to explain ), money that had previously been levied from my bank account, and the alleged proof of service, which was fraudulent. They proof of service was given to a white female ; I live alone, am an emptynester, who does not have a roommate!
