Complaint: We have had numerous problems with this credit card XXXX, XXXX Dividend XXXX. 1 ) Was offered 0 Percent on new purchases ( very clearly ) and transfers 2 ) Never been able to use miles ( have over XXXX ) but flights are never available 3 ) Had XXXX fraud cases on XXXX different cards sent to my wife, even though they had never never been activated. When case opened, we never get a call back and have to continually call them to get status. We called to let them the first week of XXXX to let them know this was not our purchase which was a recent charge of {$720.00} on XXXX XXXX on a flight from a year ago which makes no sense. We called a few weeks ago because we never got a call back and they had n't opened a case yet or credited our account. We have complained several times about the interest charges and was told a year ago it would be corrected, but it never was. Now they are saying they ca n't correct it. This bank ( Barclay ) seems incompetent to be offering a credit card to customers.

Complaint: BARCLAY 'S BANK OPERATED A MASTERCARD ACCOUNT FOR US AIRWAYS. I WAS PROMISED XXXX COMPANION TICKETS WHICH WERE NEVER PROVIDED. I WAS BILLED A YEARLY FEE IN THE SECOND YEAR WHICH WAS SENT TO ME LATE. THIS TRIGGERED A LATE FEE. WHEN I LEARNED OF IT, I SPOKE TO AN ASSOCIATE WHO SAID I COULD CALL BACK IN A FEW DAYS TO DECIDE IF I WANTED TO KEEP THE ACCOUNT. HOWEVER, THIS WAS UNTRUE AS MY ACCOUNT WAS FLAGGED AS OVERDUE AND DESPITE PAYING EVERY DIME OF THE FEES AND CANCELING THE ACCOUNT, IT WAS STILL REPORTED AS DELINQUENT TO THE CREDIT BUREAU AFFECTING MY XXXX CREDIT SCORE!

Complaint: The first month my first monthly payment was due to my Barclaycard account, I assumed it was an honest mistake that my statement did not arrive to my address and dismissed it.This became an ongoing problem, as I at no point in time chose paperless billing for this account, and confirmed it when I once again called to make an over the phone payment, and have a late fee removed. I thought my mail was being misplaced by my family, and took action to enroll in text alerts in regards to payment due date. To this day I receive absolutely no mobile alerts in regards to my account, and accessing my account on my application, or on the Web seems to be impssible as it is always down. I have only received statements when requested by phone with a live operator, and when my account has gone past due status. I am hounded over the phone when the company has not received payment, but feel I have absolutely no obligation to them until they correct their mistskes. I do n't intend on paying them the more recent late fees as they have failed to produce a timely monthly statement as my other credit card companies do.

Complaint: Barclay Card XXXX was XXXX of cards that our family used regularly to accumulate points for travel/ling. You can earn roughly XXXX cents per dollar spend to be used for travel expenses. We saved up to around XXXX points with roughly equal to {$1800.00} to be used to pay for cruise with our XXXX young daughters for the XX/XX/2016. However, the card was closed by Barclay and the points were taken away without any warning. We did not get a chance to redeem our points. We ca n't go on our trip because of this. We called and they said there is no way for us to use the points that we have earned over the years. Closing the account is Barclay own decision but we should get a chance to use the points first. When we filed the complaint, they just showing us the letters again without giving us a chance to redeem our points.

Complaint: I opened a checking account funded with my Barclays Wyndham credit card for {$10000.00}, and they posted the transaction as a cash advance and charged me a {$500.00} cash advance fee. The charge should NEVER have gone through as my cash advance limit was limited to {$6000.00}. This is a security issue on their part letting transactions go through that are higher than the stated limits on the card.

Complaint: In XXXX 2015 my daughter and I took at trip to XXXX. It was all prepaid through XXXX. The 2nd day we were there, we were told in order to make room charges we would have to have a credit card on file. So we did that. At the end of our stay we had {$26.00} in room charges. I signed the charge slip, then signed a credit slip to refund the {$6500.00} pesos hold The XXXX XXXX placed on my card. All seemed to go smoothly. When I received my credit card statement, not only did the hotel charge me the {$26.00} but also charged not credited me the {$6500.00} pesos ( {$440.00} US dollars ). I called my credit card company right away, told them the circumstances. We filled a dispute right away. On XXXX XXXX, 2015 Barclay Bank issued me a credit of {$440.00}. At this point I believed everything was all good. On XXXX XXXX, 2015 Barclay recharged me the {$440.00}. Again I called and filled a dispute, since the bank claimed my dispute was resolved. This continued for months, the bank claiming I signed the slip so I acknowledged the charged. I explained I signed a credit slip and there was no exchanged of goods the {$440.00} is a fraudulent charge. After months and hundreds of phone hours with Barclay Bank I filled a complaint with Washington State Attorney Generals Office. Since Barclay did not reply in a timely fashion nothing ever happened. I started contacting the XXXX XXXX myself. After being transferred around a bit and about a week I was told my money was credited back to my credit card. Again calling Barclay bank I was told no the money was never credited. Now I have emails from the hotel admitting a credit was due to me, again Barclay bank would not help me with this matter tell me my money was in XXXX and to bad for me. I the wrote a letter to the President at Barclay back with no reply. Then out of the blue, XXXX XXXX called me from the office of the President at Barclay Bank because of the complaint I filed with the Washington State Attorney General. After months dealing with her and all was in agreement I was owed the {$440.00} it was still never credit to me. I received a letter from XXXX XXXX closing my case. So I started calling XXXX, talked to XXXX there for another few months he told me they were escalating my case. I just recently found out XXXX is an intern and is doing nothing. Someone at the Attorney General 's Office gave me the information to this website, so here I am filling a complaint with you. This is just the cleft notes version, because I have spent hundreds of hours trying to get my money back. You are my last hope.

Complaint: This is regarding the RCI Mastercard from Barclaycard. I set automated payments through my online banking for a transfer I did over a year ago and payments were happening without any problem. The on XXXX XXXX, XXXX I learned that I owed over {$200.00} dollars in late fees, which was unexpected given the automated payments. I called and was told there had been an interest rate change that I did n't know about. Anyway, not only I proceeded to pay that fee but I also asked what the balance amount was so that I could pay it in full and have XXXX balance. The proceeded to pay the full amount but then on XXXX XXXX, XXXX I get a statement indicating a balance of close to {$1000.00}. Note that I made no use whatsoever of the credit card. I called again and the representative said it was balance left from the last payment. I insisted that I paid the full amount I was told to be at XXXX balance because I did n't want to have to pay interests. So then I asked again for the full amount to have XXXX balance and I paid immediately. Then last night, XXXX XXXX, XXXX I get yet another statement indicating that I still owe {$2.00}. This is unacceptable! I called and was told it was interest. Why is RCI Mastercard Barclay doing this? The only explanation is that by ripping of a few dollars out of hundreds of thousands of customers they are ripping XXXX dollars from us. I the end the representative waved that payment but ( a ) I may still get another statement next month and ( b ) the issue is not the amount but the act. There should be a Class Action Suit against RCI Mastercard Barclay because this is deliberate abuse. I demanded all my conversations with RCI Mastercard Barclay to be recorded so that they can be subpoena. It is the responsibility of the authorities to take action on this.
