Complaint: I recently checked my credit reports as i have not done so for many years and find that this account is reporting inaccurate information which is causing a negative affect on my credit. Complaint: I was denied a Barclay XXXX Credit card. my credit score is XXXX. I have another Barclaycard for William Sonoma. I have always paid the credit card bill on time. My male partner was immediately approved and his credit score is XXXX. XXXX 's asked me to send a copy of my utility bill and my tax return. I did and was denied again. I called and they said the concern was not my credit rating but that they have a lot of fraud. They asked me to send a copy of my Social Security card and my drivers license. I told him enough is enough. I think I am being treated differently because I am a woman and I think the request for personal information is excessive. i 'm feeling harassed. Reference # XXXX

Complaint: I opened a Barclay Card under a promotional offer that I received for a statement credit with a {$500.00} minimum purchase and 12 Months 0 % interest financing on purchases and balance transfers. I made hte purchases and received the statement credit but have started to receive interest charges on my card for the first two cycles. I have contacted them multiple times to investigate and each time I end up talking to a supervisor and they state they will submit a case and it will take 5-7 days to resolve and that I may receive a reply to the case. If not I should call back. I have now called back 3 times and each time feel like I am given the run around. The card offer online is very clear and can be found here XXXX The offer reads : " Purchase and Balance Transfer Rate 0 % Introductory APR for the first 12 months on purchases and 0 % Intro APR for 12 months on each Balance Transfer. Complaint: Barclay 's Bank opened a XXXX credit card account for me without my authorization. Apparently, it won the XXXX account away from XXXX XXXX, where I was a cardholder. I never authorized the opening of a new account with Barclays. What 's worse, when my XXXX XXXX balance transferred over, I began incurring immediate finance charges. I never even knew this was happening because I never authorized this new credit card being opened in my name. By the time I realized all that had been done without my authorization, my account had already been reported to the credit bureaus for delinquent payment. When I asked Barclay 's to produce the itemized list of charges for the now $ XXXX balance, they could n't. And yet, I had to pay it to spare my credit. All the information is available now but in this moment of crisis, no one could tell me anything about this account I did n't open.

Complaint: On XXXX/XXXX/16 and XXXX/XXXX/16 I received phone calls from Barclays XXXX XXXX Master Card reporting charges to my account which I declared as fraudulent. On both cases new cards were issued and an investigation supposedly took place. On XXXX XXXX I received two letters declaring those purchases as valid. When I called to inquire why, I was told that " the cards had a chip which rendered them incapable of being copied ''. Never mind the magnetic strip on the card. I requested disputed forms which I filled out and return along with explanatory letters of what I had been enduring from other credit cards and my belief that I had been scanned because I only used the card once for a minor purchase with the State of Florida. Now they have obviously ignored all the explanations and are harassing my phones with calls from different numbers. Probably my credit will be impacted as well, even though I had nothing to do with those purchases. Even when I ask to see the signatures and videos on the purchases, the clerk I spoke to said that " it did not matter. ''

Complaint: I used to have XXXX credit cards issued by Barclay bank, and have a perfect payment history with these cards. But recently the Barclay bank closed all the XXXX cards without any notice. I called the bank but they did not providing me any specific reason other than saying a notice letter is on the way, and refused to re-instate these accounts. I just paid the annual fee {$89.00} for the arrival plus card in XX/XX/XXXX, and have XXXX awards miles ( which worths {$550.00} ) in the arrival plus card, and XXXX awarded points ( which worths {$13.00} ) in the extra points card, both are accumulated from my previous purchases. Now I could not redeem these awarded miles and points online as the accounts were closed, and Barclay bank refused to give me back these rewards. It 's unfair to me because I always obey the credit card rules and earned these rewards according to all terms and conditions, but the bank seems to take away them and take advantage in finance by ending up the customers ' account abruptly. I would like to seek your help to get back my rewards ( $ XXXX+ {$13.00} ) and annual fee ( {$89.00} XXXX from Barclay bank, which is totaly {$650.00}.

Complaint: My XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Credit Card was recently changed to a XXXX Card from Barcalycard and I was required to sign a contract with a FORCED ARBITRATION CLAUSE if I wanted the credit card. I sent them a letter asking to opt out and still get the credit card, but never heard back. This violates my rights by blocking me from suing if there 's a dispute. Also, there 's no right of appeal, no public record, no requirement to follow established law. It 's a consumer ripoff! Please stop this and enact rules to end this practice. Thank you.
