Complaint: I had an XXXX XXXX mastercard with Barclay 's Bank, but upgraded to an XXXX XXXX mastercard. Barclay 's closed the XXXX XXXX account, but in XXXX I was notified that I would be issued a credit to the XXXX credit card. I assumed that I would be issued a check or the credit would be " rolled '' into my new XXXX XXXX credit card account. After receiving a second billing statement with a credit balance on the XXXX XXXX credit card, I called Barclay 's Bank. The first agent told me the account was closed and she was unable to issue me a check. She told me the credit balance would automatically be " rolled '' into my new account, but could n't explain why it had not already been done " automatically. '' I had to speak to an account specialist, and 25 minutes after my initial call, I was told the credit would be moved over " manually. '' Barclay 's Bank made it difficult for me to receive my refund and blamed the difficulty on computer glitches.

Complaint: In 2014, I applied for the Mastercard XXXX card. I received the card and was given a XXXX dollar credit limit and required to pay an annual fee of XXXX dollars. I kept up on payments for approximately 6 months and suddenly my credit was dropped to XXXX dollars. This I believe is a breach of contract -- afterall, why would I originally apply for a card that would only give me XXXX credit. I ca n't get rid of the card because it would hurt my credit score. I do n't want to pay XXXX dollars a year for a card that would only offer XXXX dollars after both parties originally agreed to a XXXX dollar credit.

Complaint: I signed up for and met the use requirements for a Frontier credit card with a bonus of XXXX miles. Barclay, the credit card company involved, sent a statement verifying I had met the purchases amount and was now eligible for the mileage. Multiple emails and phone calls have resulted in nothing but wasted time and frustration and the cost of multiple flights to care for my mother during her XXXX illness that would have been covered by the mileage if I had received it. I also contacted Barclay for help and they were only able to confirm my eligibility and refer me back to Frontier

Complaint: My Barclays credit card went missing, I explained this many times on the phone and sent many faxes they requested and in the end they now stick me with the bill. I did n't buy anything and I 've never heard of most of those places. I talked to some arrogant guy on the phone and he said they had me recorded saying it was n't fraudulent charges a tthat time, but that caller was n't me.
Anyway I did n't make any charges on my Barclays Mastercard since XXXX XXXX, and I 'm billed something like {$6000.00} I will of course never pay and I get bad credit because of the incompetence of Barclays.

Complaint: Barclays Bank Delaware is refusing to allow me to change my privacy settings in order to disallow information sharing, even though they are required to do so under federal law.
I received an annual privacy notice from Barclays Bank Delaware today. In the notice, it states that Barclays DOES share my personal infomation with affiliaties and other companies, and that I can limit that sharing. However, when I called the phone number listed on the notice, the representatives told me that they do not share any information and there is no way to change the privacy settings.
Since their written statements contradict their oral statements, I assume that the written statements are true and the oral statements are false and that they do share. However, since they falsely claim that they do not share when I call them, they could not tell me my current privacy settings and appear to have no way to change them.

Complaint: I received multiple 0 % interest rate balance transfer offers from Barclay Bank. I did take advantage of one of these offers from Barclay. I transfer a balance from XXXX to a new Barclay Credit Card. I was charged a transfer fee of {$54.00} which I agreed to, in exchange for 0 %. After reviewing my statement which I should of done earlier, I see I have been assessed interest charges. The last person I spoke with was '' XXXX ''. I have a claim # XXXX. Phone # for future communication XXXX. I also explained to XXXX, that I called the phone # on the Barclay 0 % offer letter and spoke with a person who was hard to understand and did not speak good English. But, they assured me the promo would take effect immediately.
In closing, I asked that all interest charges be reversed and the promo instated.

Complaint: A balance transfer was initiated with Barclaycard on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX based on a promotion they sent sent for 3.99 % promtional interest until XXXX XXXX. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX they opened a case to reverse {$950.00} that was mailed via check to XXXX. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX XXXX cashed that check.
Attached is the check Barclaycard sent and my transaction statement showing that it was deposited into my XXXX account. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX Barcaycard sent me letter that they closed this open case. But they have not " recovered the {$950.00} '' from XXXX. As of today XXXX/XXXX/XXXX the XXXX is still in in XXXX account. I need closure to this balance transfer reversal fiasco and need to know the date they will recover the {$950.00} from XXXX since they reversed the balance transfer ( and not with my permission in writing I 'll add ) Thank you XXXX XXXX
