Complaint: The bank in question reporting my payments as being late from XX/XX/2016-XX/XX/2016. I was set up on automatic payments for that time frame in question and every payment came out of my checking account at the same time every month and was never late but yet they have reported me late every month until i finally had to pay them and close my account with them for the damaging effect they were having on my ability to get a home loan with the best possible rates.

Complaint: A guy I was dating XXXX XXXX stoled my identity got this card in my name before we were married in the evening og XX/XX/XXXX. When I found out that this and other cards were in my name without my knowledge I filed for divorce immediately. XXXX other accounts were declared fraudulent. This one was not even though XXXX admitted to Barclay Bank that he was responsible for it and was made responsible for it in our marital settlement agreement. I did not know that I was on this account. I did not sign up for this account. I have asked for proof that I signed up for this accounts in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and have not received it. It has hurt my credit my credit rating and I want it removed.

Complaint: The interest rates charged by Barclay Bank Delaware on credit cards exceeds 19 % and is usurious. I requested that the interest be lowered so that I could pay the card off in 3 payments and was told that it could not be lowered. I am a senior. The balance on my card is {$12000.00}. and {$3200.00} respectively. I have asked numerous times for a reduction and have been told that nothing can be done. I have been told by my attorney just to stop making payments on the accounts because they will not work with me. They have told me that settlement on the accounts, even if they are paid in full would ruin my credit. I want the interest reduced to 8 - 9 % on each card. I do not want them reinstated - the bank cancelled them because I did not pay enough money on them despite the fact that I paid more than the minimum and have done so for years.

Complaint: I currently serve as an XXXX in the U.S. XXXX. I wanted to bring to your attention to a cancellation of Servicemembers Civil Relief Act ( SCRA ) benefits by Barclays Bank on their XXXX that will likely put many servicemembers in a financial bind, and at the very least is an abuse of those servicemembers ' good faith and trust in Barclays as a financial institution and lender. A little over a year ago, I, along with many friends currently in XXXX, opened a Barclays Gold XXXX with an agreement that the SCRA benefits afforded to me would include a 0 % interest rate on both old and new purchases, balance transfers and cash advances ; no fees of any kind, which included waiving the annual fee of {$990.00} each year and charge of {$290.00} for each authorized user ; and no collection efforts. After reading that the waiver of annual fees was withdrawn from the offered benefits on XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote Barclays, on XX/XX/XXXX, to ensure this would not affect me as the terms of my SCRA benefits should apply prior to changes. In an email Barclays assured me that I would maintain these benefits until end of my XXXX period. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I received a memo stating the annual fee would now be assessed each year, and I will be charged {$1200.00} dollars. I called and talked to Barclays ' management, who had the correspondence on record, and they informed me I would be required to pay this for the next billing period. I write this letter not to drone on about my financial burdens, as fortunately I will pay my balance and close the card to avoid yearly charges. I write because I know of countless servicemembers who were deceived by Barclays, offered extremely high credit lines, most in excess of {$25000.00}, with the promise of 0 % APR. When I asked Barclays management, on the phone, if they were aware the bind in which this will likely put countless servicemembers, they responded, " Yes, we are aware they are very upset. '' These servicemembers now face the decision to either pay their balance and close their credit card, possibly putting them in a position of financial hardship, or pay the exorbitant annual fee. I hope you can see why this is an abuse of both servicemembers ' trust and the spirit of the SCRA, which has long provided XXXX and Veterans a piece of mind in making financial decisions. I also hope that those who are XXXX servicemembers were not impacted by this blatant abuse of their trust.

Complaint: I had a Barclays luxury card. I pay off all my credit cards monthly. Someone added there name on my card as an authorized user. They charged my card up over XXXX in one week. The charges were n't even in my area. I disputed the charges. I had been in contact with Barclays for many weeks/months. They charged back all the charges to my card and noted on the account that it was a XXXX issue because I was married. I have never been married in my life. I am very honest person. Why would I intentionally ruin my credit. There were numerous cards that this happened too. I noticed this person added their name on my accounts as an authorized user.I started getting mail in this persons name at my house. I filed a police report. I had to go to the post office to have this person name flagged. I started received all types of mail and things from XXXX at my address. This has never happened to me. I never got a phone call from Barclays or any mail for the steps that I needed to take. I assumed my credit card company which I trusted would protect me. They have treated me like I am a criminal. It sad that I am struggle and they think I would abuse my authority and ruin my credit on purpose. I have to do what is best to protect my children long term.

Complaint: My card ending in XXXX I was approved for a Barclaycard on XX/XX/2017 I was asked if had a transfer 0 % Int. I did, to XXXX XXXX for {$4800.00} XX/XX/2017, Went on line did not see the transfer. Used the card on XX/XX/2017 and saw the transaction of {$55.00} to XXXX Still did not see the transfer of {$4800.00} About three weeks after approval I see the transfer of {$4800.00} to XXXX XXXX, XXXX times $ XXXX.= total of {$9600.00} I called after sending 4 emails and no respond. Lady said that Indeed looks like an honest mistake/Error. Lady on the phone said if I return the {$4800.00}. I will get the transfer fee of {$140.00} back and only pay XXXX transfer fee, since it was an error. I made a payment of {$4800.00} to them online. the XX/XX/XXXX I called today to make sure I get back my fee back on the error transfer. Another person on the phone said I will not get any fees back. I want my {$140.00} back for the error transfer that it was made.

Complaint: I applied to the Barclaycard Ring Mastercard becuase the offered no interest and no FEEs for balance transfers. We got approved and when we went to do our balance transfer they told us there would be a fee. We complained, stating that the website application says no fees. We called Barclay and showed them the website and they said they would pass this along and it would be 10 business days to get it fixed. It has now been 14 business days and nothing has been solved. We keep getting put off. The application website is still up offering the no transfer fees and interest free on balance transfers. This has got to stop. When I went out on our Barclay account page it showed us a {$15.00} balance. We questioned it and they said it was because they rushed the card to us via XXXX. We did n't ask for that. They said they would take that off our account and over 2 weeks later it is still there. I ca n't believe a credit card company like this stays in business since all they do is put it off for a board review. While I may be one person. My Brother-in-law also signed up for card for the same reasons and he has run into same problem. Lies after lies and always being put off.
