Complaint: To Whom It May Concern, My name is XXXX XXXX, My account number with Barclay Card is XXXX. I received mycredit card statementin the mail and noticed I was charged twice for flights from the XXXX to XXXX back in XX/XX/XXXX. My wife used my card without my authorization, when the credit card company called me I told them there was no authorization for this charge and to cancel it ; they said they would. In the meantime my wife never received a confirmation for these flights thereforeshe understood that the flights were NEVER booked. I was charged twice for this charge and wish to be refunded for this, Ideclined the charge when Barclay Card called and on top of it my wife never received confirmation for the flight. I then was only reimbursed for one charge and not the second, if I DID NOT authorize this charge how is it that I was charged TWICE? I have been dealing with this issue since XX/XX/XXXX and have received no resolution through Barclay Card regardless of numerous phone calls and e-mails. I live on a budget and this charge to my credit card is a heavy burden, especially receiving no adequate resolution on an issue I have been dealing with since XX/XX/XXXX. I called XXXX went back and forth for about 8 months to get my refunds which until this day I 'm still being charged for by my credit card company after figuring out XXXX is stating they refunded me but not showing on statement I contacted my credit card company which is Barcalay 's filed disputes and it 's been a year and still I ca n't get them to take care of it and I 'm still being charged and I 'm still paying my monthly payments so wrong and unfair for stuff I did not even receive or returned and continue to have to pay..

Complaint: I am putting a complaint against barclays card cause in XX/XX/XXXX i lost my credit card and there were fraudulent charges made to the account. They sent a letter denying my claim saying because they were confirmations made by text of charges that were done to the account. After reviewing my text confirmation from barclays they sent a text on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX for a charge from XXXX for {$170.00} for that was processed twice at XXXX i confirmed this charge as i knew the merchant. on XX/XX/XXXX they sent a confirmation text for a XXXX charge for XXXX in which i was in the middle of a hospital visit because i had an XXXX. I accidentally pressed 1 for confirming instead of the 2 because my XXXX and i XXXX. i received another text when i left the hospital for another charge in which i responded with the XXXX and called in and explained to the representative the situation. They are trying to say these charges were valid and i did not do any of these charges. They are trying to hold me responsible for charges that were not authorized by me.

Complaint: I signed up for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX a few months ago because they waived the {$990.00} annual fee because I 'm currently on XXXX XXXX in the XXXX XXXX . On XXXX XXXX XXXX , they sent me the attached letter which states that they will no longer waive the annual fee and that my annual fee is scheduled to be assessed on XXXX XXXX , XXXX . On XXXX XXXX , XXXX , I was charged the {$990.00} annual fee. The phone number they provided on the letter was to a voicemail which they said calls would be returned in 2 days. Complaint: I am a victim of counterfeit fraud on my credit card. Barclay notified me of the suspicious transaction on XX/XX/XXXX the day it happened. I contacted them as soon as i could and confirmed the charge in question was indeed fraud. After wait more than 2 weeks for the fraud charges to be credited to my account, I sent them an email questioning the status of account ( see copy of email in attachment ), and they responded that my issue has been escalated and will be diligently working to resolve it. After waiting another 3+ weeks, and nothing happened I contacted them for a 3rd time, this time by calling them. I finally got someone on the phone from the fraud department and he told me it would be handled right away, which I did receive credits on my account the next day. I just got a letter this week that was generically worded saying they resolved my fraud case and it is now closed. I assume this meant that it was in my favor, since I am the victim of fraud, but no, they put the fraud charge back on my account. I find it extremely frustrating and completely ridiculous that I will need to reach out to Barclay for a fourth time to resolve an issue that I am a victim. I have also been making payments to cover the fraud charge because I do not trust this company to properly credit me any interest that I would have incurred because of their incompetence and failure to handle this simple situation.

Complaint: This has been a headache since I obtained the card. Making a payment is a big inconvenience and has resulted in unnecessary fees. Now I am trying to reach someone at the company to discuss pay off options and I keep getting the run around. I have spoken with several representatives and NOONE has aided me on my nightmare. Complaint: Barclays Wyndham Visa credit card is not honoring their XXXX pt offer when I applied. Originally while on a trip to XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX a Wyndham representative indicated that I can link my XXXX account when I Apply to the Barclays Visa Credit card and I will earn points. Plus I would get XXXX bonus points after I make a certain dollar purchase on the credit card. This IS the information that I was told. I did my due diligence and I started using the card. In XX/XX/XXXX of this year I called to follow up with the missing XXXX points and I was told that it might be in the next billing cycle since I had to wait up 90 days. Well XX/XX/XXXX went as did the XX/XX/XXXX billing cycle and no points. As of today XX/XX/XXXX also no points. So I called Barclays Wyndham Visa and they told me that I was not supposed to get XXXX points. I was pretty upset to hear this and they said just look at your agreement. My contention is that a representative from XXXX who gave me the application gave me a pamphlet and verbally told me that I would get the XXXX points and pointed it out in the pamphlet. It really feels like a bait and switch deal. After calling XXXX at the Barclays Wyndham Visa card the best I got was " Do you still have that pamphlet ''. Its been 5.5 months that I 've been dealing with this and NOW I 'm asked to show proof of a pamphlet from XX/XX/XXXX. Its not like I just threw it away today that I can look through the garbage and find it. It was 5.5 months ago. I 'm asking your assistance in this matter and please have them honor what was promised.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX XXXX discontinued its credit card affiliation with XXXX and moved it to Barclay. First we pay all credit cards in full each month. When the conversion took place there was no balance due XXXX, however we did have a disputed item for a medical bill with XXXX for {$1000.00} which we have since been reimbursed for by our health insurance provider and Barclay has been paid too. As of XX/XX/XXXX this matter is still not resolved and Barclay says we owe them {$3100.00} which includes interest charges. For one year I have asked for details and NONE received, I have written directly to The Office of the President and they have not resolved the problem. I have tried almost 20 times to get this matter resolved!!!!!!!! In the mean our credit rating has dropped several points. How can you help?

Complaint: I have a credit card that I use to collect reward points to put toward cruises. In XX/XX/2016 I cashed in XXXX points toward my prepaid gratuities on an upcoming cruise. The cruise line never received the funds for the gratuities. I have been trying to get this fixed since last XXXX. I have been told something different by every person I have spoken to. Twice I have been " escalated '' to management but no one from management will speak to me. Today I got an email from my cruise line that there was {$140.00} extra to pay on my cruise. When I questioned why I was told it was because this same credit card company has denied the points I have previously cashed in and demanded a refund from the cruise line. I received no communication from the credit card company about this. When I called my credit card company again I was escalated to management but have received no return call. I am now going to have to pay {$190.00} for gratuities that I should not have to plus another {$140.00} that I have already paid because of the credit card company. Complaint: I understand that there are no laws regarding a banks right to decrease a consumer 's credit limit but today I saw where Barclay reduced my credit limit of {$3500.00} with a balance of {$1900.00} to a credit limit of {$2100.00}. That changes this card 's utilization percentage from 56 % to 91 %. This account has been open a year, I 've never missed a payment with them or any of my other accounts in the last 3 years. My overall utilization score was about 35 % and I have no collections and no public records. This is the second company to cut my limit raising my utilization score and lowering my credit score. It 's not fair that I be penalized for using my cards, paying interest and making payments on time, especially when they did n't even consult me about it! They claimed they used information in my XXXX report, which is only XXXX of XXXX reporting bureaus and has out of date information as payments and charges fluctuate on a daily basis and take time to filter through to the bureaus. Someone needs to protect consumers that pay their debts on time and still get penalized.
