Complaint: I received a debt collection letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on behalf of Barclays Bank Delaware. The amount is {$3100.00} and their account # XXXX . They also filed a lawsuit against me ( case # XXXX ) I called the Law Firm and I spoke in the to XXXX XXXX I informed her that I 've never done business with this bank. I was asked for my last 4 digits of my SSN. XXXX XXXX XXXX told me that that my SSN in the account does n't match the last four of my SSN.
At that point I tough that the it was the end of it but that did n't happen. They keep sending letter and sending collector to my house.
I need this to stop.
I sent them copy of the XXXX major credit reporting agencies with ( XXXX , XXXX XXXX , XXXX ) that shows that I have no outstanding, late payment or collection in my credit report. I sent a copy of my XXXX , A copy of my military service connect XXXX payment so they can corroborated the last 4 of my SSN.
I also told them that to perform my duties at my job I needed a security clearance and my last SC was Finnish in XXXX /2016 flying colors. All this info and they still coming after me for something I do n't owe.

Complaint: I signed up for a credit card through Frontier Airlines in XXXX 2017 while on a flight from XXXX XXXX to XXXX. Their stewardesses were promoting 2 free trips anywhere in the US with a single purchase on the card of any dollar amount, or a single international round trip ticket. I made a purchase on the card and received XXXX miles. I am unable to redeem the miles given for the 2 free trips. There are only select cities and dates that apply. The stewardesses outright said there would be no restrictions on the promotion. I was lied to and I would not have signed up for the card if I knew there would be restrictions.

Complaint: I purchased furniture for delivery at a later date, which I never received. The seller obviously cheated me, and I reached out to my Barclays Card company to apply for charge back. They applied charge back, but refunded the money to seller after 4 months, saying they have the proof of purchase. But I told them the items are never received, nor there is a proof of delivery. Since they messed up the transaction, they are trying to cover it up with different legal terms. I need help!!!
I asked those terms in writing, but they deny giving it to me in writing. After few months, they stopped even responding to my letters.
After a year, I finally saved some money to buy furniture again. But I Lost money, no merchandise, and Barclays messed up my credit history and peace of mind.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2017 I was a patient at XXXX Hospital ER in XXXX, Texas. My insurance card ( XXXX XXXX ) clearly states that the co pay for ER is {$150.00}. My card was charged XXXX without my knowledge. ( I will address billing issues with XXXX XXXX separately ) I did not authorize this charge and did not sign anything. I have notified Barclaycard Visa of the situation as an unauthorized charge and an overcharge. I sent them all pertinent documentation. This is a complaint against Barclaycard. I also told them the address on my receipt did not match the billing address on the credit card and that the charge should have never been authorized. I have received communication from Barclaycard notifying me there is nothing they can do as I did not submit proof of an overcharge. They claim I authorized the charge, and I argue I did not. There is nothing with my signature anywhere. The Visa in question ends in XXXX. Barclaycard 's address is XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, DE XXXX.Barclycard customer service is rude and not at all helpful on the phone.

Problem getting a working replacement card
Complaint: When we opened an LL Bean Visa Card 15+ years ago. We did it in my wife 's name. I was an authorized user. The income to pay the bills came from my salary and I wrote the monthly checks to pay in full our monthly Visa charges. My wife died on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I notified Barclaycard of her death and asked to have her name removed and mine listed on the account. They said that they could not do that and that I would have to open a new account, which they did. However when they did because the credit history was in my wife 's name, and I had no credit history they would have to lower my credit line from {$9000.00} to {$2500.00}. We had a private loan for our fully paid mortgage and the only other credit card we had was XXXX and that was for only a short time. Our excellent credit history was no longer credited to me. Recently I shared this situation with a friend who was a retired bank auditor and he said that is illegal. " Designation of Accounts-12CFR 1002.10 ( a ) A creditor that furnishes credit information to a consumer reporting agency must designate : *any new account to reflect the participation of both spouses if the applicant 's spouse is permitted to use or is contractually liable on the account. Recently Barclaycard has increased my credit limit. ( I pay my bills on time ) However I still have no credit history. That is not fair! and it is illegal.

Complaint: On Friday XX/XX/XXXX, I called customer service two times at different number to inquire how to activate the Account Protector services with reasons do to unemployment. The CS numbers that I called were XXXX and XXXX.
The first customer service representative @ XXXX referred me to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX @ XXXX and stated that Barclay did not offer services for unemployment and disability.
The second customer service representative @ XXXX stated that she searched for the information and nothing came up regarding services that would assist with customer 's becoming unemployed and assistance with payment options due to unemployment. I stated the information from the website and the service name from the website and the CSR stated that she nothing showed and she was not aware of any services like that.
I informed both CSRs that when I applied for the card that I was offered the services and selected to opt into the service and that I have sense activated this with other credit cards.

There are eligibility requirements, conditions and exclusions that could prevent you from receiving benefits. For example, you must be employed in a full time ( 20 hours or more per week ) non-seasonal occupation as of the date of loss to be eligible for the unemployment benefit. For disability benefits you must be unable to work at least 14 consecutive days. To qualify for the natural disaster benefit, there must be at least {$500.00} of property damage for the three month benefit and your home must be uninhabitable for 30 days to qualify for full balance cancellation. You may use a three month life event benefit only once every 12 months. You may use the payment holiday up to a maximum payment of {$300.00} and only once every 12 months.
The fee is XXXX cents per {$100.00} of your outstanding account balance on the monthly statement closing date. If you have a balance on that date, you will be charged for the Account Protector coverage, regardless of whether you pay your balance in full or carry a balance from month to month.
Before you are required to pay any Account Protector fees, we will mail you the program terms as well as additional information, including a copy of the Account Protector addendum to your Cardmember Agreement You should carefully read the information we will send you for a full explanation of the program.

Complaint: I previously notified Barclay Bank that I am a victim of identity theft, and requested them to do the following : Close the unauthorized account Remove all the unauthorized charges from my already opened accounts? Remove any charges on the unauthorized accounts, and Take steps to remove information about these account from my credit files. I still have not received written confirmation of these actions. As I stated before : I am a victim of identity theft. I recently learned that my personal information was used to open an account at your company and my already opened accounts were used without my authorization. I did not open or authorize this account and charges, and I request that it be closed immediately and all unauthorized charges be removed. Please send me written confirmation that I am not responsible for charges on this account, and take appropriate steps to remove information about this account from my credit files. I have enclosed a copy of my Police Identity Theft Report. Because the information you are reporting is the result of identity theft, and inaccurate, I request that you stop reporting this information to the CRAs, as directed by section 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( B ) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( B ). Credit card company won't increase or decrease your credit limit
Complaint: I have a credit card with XXXX 's XXXX rewards Card for 18 months and my credit limit was XXXX for a purchase from the apple. I have made all my payments on time and never exceeded my credit limit. In the last 2 months i started to pay down my card with large payments of XXXX every week for 4-6 weeks and after the 4th payment, the company reduced my credit limit reflecting the amount that i paid off. My new credit limit is XXXX and my balance is XXXX approximately. This puts me higher than the credit debt ratio before my large payoffs and increases my apr rate and reduces my credit availability which affects my credit score negatively. So for paying off my credit card my credit score went down and my apr rate ca, be raised for making payments to reduce my interest rates that i was being charged. I see this as being unfair to me and affecting my credit score negatively which is causing additional hardships on myself and family. My timely payments and excellent track record with this company has gotten me a decreased credit score and the company raising my apr rates and interest rates due.
