Complaint: I have been with Bank of America for about 3 years small business banking. When i signed up they offered alot of stuff to do with small business. I also got XXXX XXXX system which was new to keep everything up to date in my smoke shop. After hard times with my XXXX i wanted to sell it right before 3 years and now i am getting charged and termination fee and also from XXXX XXXX i am getting charge to for the XXXX XXXX which i do want to send back to them but they still charging me for it also for breaking the contract. I spoke to so many reps and told them that i never knew there was a contract i would never get it and the rep who sign me up did n't tell me of this because i would never get. When i talked to a business account rep inside the Bank to help me out he told me to open up another account and get get another merchant services account set up and i could get your money back. That does n't sound it would solve my problem at all because doing that i would be stuck again. I been giving a run around for 6 months now and they just keep getting my money and time also hurting my credit report. I asked them where is the paper i sign because the papers you guys gave me had nothing on it. I know its not me there is more customers out there who is getting hurt from this. Bank of America is hurting there small business customers to hit their quota.

Complaint: I was informed via email on XXXX XXXX, 2016 XXXX the day of closing XXXX that Bank of America would not close my loan due to an active redemption period on the home. I had been working with XXXX XXXX since XXXX XXXX, 2016 when I received conditional approval. On XXXX XXXX, 2016 I submitted my loan application along with the sales contract and other related documents. The sales contract included a foreclosure acknowledgment.
Throughout the loan application process, I provided requested documentation in a timely manner. I would also call XXXX XXXX to inquire about the status of my loan application and ask if any additional documentation was needed. I was constantly assured that everything was moving along as planned and that there were no issues with my application.
On Monday, XXXX XXXX, 2016 I called XXXX XXXX, loan processor, to inquire about the status of my loan and to determine the final closing costs. Please note this was my first time speaking with XXXX XXXX, and I had to initiate the call. XXXX XXXX stated she needed a few more documents, but assured me my loan would be ready to close on XXXX XXXX, 2016. She was unable to provide the final closing costs at that time ; however, she stated she would call me Wednesday, XXXX XXXX, 2016. I called XXXX XXXX on Wednesday, XXXX XXXX and left a voicemail. I never heard back from her. I was informed the closing attorney sent XXXX XXXX documents related to the bond of redemption, and XXXX XXXX never responded to the email.
On Monday, XXXX XXXX, 2016 ( the day of closing ) I receive an email from XXXX XXXX stating my loan would not close. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have received with Bank of America. I find this very unprofessional and irresponsible. I should have been informed that BOA could not close my loan earlier in the process instead of on the day of closing. There is absolutely no excuse for practicing business in this manner.
I wasted valuable time and money by choosing BOA. Someone at their organization dropped the ball on my loan application, and it is impacting me negatively. Now, I am left to find a lender who can process my loan in a short amount of time since I was prepared to move into my new shortly after closing. By using another lender, I am forced to start the loan application process all over again. Interest rates have increased since I was locked in at 3.5 %. Now I am looking at higher monthly payments. I will also have to pay for another appraisal.
My loan was not closed as it should have been due to no fault of my own. As such, I believe I should be compensated for wasting my time and money. I requested that BOA refund me the cost of the appraisal and credit report, {$470.00}. However, they have been unresponsive.

Complaint: One month, I paid only XXXX % of my credit card bill ( due to an oversight ). Bank of America charged me interest on 100 % of the bill, rather than the 5 % I owed. This amounted to over 40 % interest in a month, or a APR of over 5500 %.
I called to complain, and they reset it, but this is presumably happening to many BoA customers all of the time.

Complaint: COMPLAINT AGAINST BANK OF AMERICA AND XXXX We had difficulty paying our home mortgage and sold the house on short sale 2013. The mortgage was with Bank of America. Bank of America approved the short sale and accepted the proceed for full satisfaction of the XXXX ( first and second ) mortgages on the property. We have all the documents to that effect.
The second mortgage is entered in my credit report as a debt that I am owing. It is showing in XXXX XXXX and XXXX that the debt was transferred to another lender. In the same report it is stated that the debt is legally paid in full.
XXXX XXXX entered it as a delinquent mortgage.
It appears Bank of America sold the mortgage after accepting the proceed from the short sale as full settlement. Bank of America and XXXX XXXX are in collusion in these transactions.
These XXXX derogatory entries in our credit report are adversely affecting our credit rating seriously. As a result we are having great difficulty getting a mortgage to buy a home. This is causing us serious pain and distress..

Complaint: Bank of America closed this account, and arbitrarily decided to keep {$4500.00} of mine. They claim the money orders deposited were 'not valid for deposit '. Bank of America WAS paid by XXXX for the money orders. The tracers from XXXX providing proof of payment are attached. Due to Bank of America not properly investigating my initial complaint ( XXXX ), I have now incurred an additional {$130.00} expense XXXX {$15.00} per money order x XXXX ) for XXXX to provide tracer data.

Complaint: I am the beneficiary of my deceased brother 's ROTH IRA at Bank of America, which consists of XXXX CD 's. I worked with an individual on the phone in the IRA department XX/XX/XXXX, to set up the distribution of funds to coincide with the CD maturity dates in XX/XX/XXXX, which were all within the 5 year period required by the Federal govt. However, after the first anniversary of the beneficiary IRA account, B of A sent a check for about XXXX of the IRA. After I called to complain on XX/XX/XXXX, they stopped payment on that large check and said they must do a minimum distribution. So they sent a check for {$1900.00}. I talked to a supervisor, XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and he said it is the bank 's policy to to make a minimum distribution. However, this minimum distribution was not stated on the form I was asked to fill out when setting up the distribution, nor did the man who helped me set up the distribution mention anything about this. I have asked supervisor XXXX XXXX to send me consumer information detailing this policy of minimum distribution. He said he would look and see if anything was available. In the time between now and XX/XX/XXXX, I will lose over {$700.00} in interest due to the early distribution of funds, since there are no CD 's currently available that will pay the interest I am currently receiving in the IRA CD 's. The Federal government says that I can leave the money in the account as long as it is all withdrawn within 5 years. This interpretation of Federal law was confirmed by XXXX XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and also XXXX XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ), 2 Bank of America IRA help desk employees. Yet Bank of America policy is above the law and requires a minimal distribution, without prior notification to the customer. This is wrong. They appear to be trying to get out from paying the better interest rate.

Complaint: Countrywide used a bait and switch at the time of the Mortgage signing and split the loan into XXXX loans. Countrywide went out of business partially because of their illegal practices. Bank of America took over the XXXX loans and they are calling the smaller loan an EQUITY LOAN. It is not an Equity loan and never was. After four years of disputing - what they call an equity loan - they finally Modified the loan with the same terms of teh original illegal loan. How is this legal? Because they are calling it an equity loan, they will not modify it the same way the modified the first loan. Bank of America is using the illegal terms of the COUNTYWIDE LOAN to make us pay all the interest they caused by delaying the modification for four years.

Complaint: Bank of America has been illegally disposing of my hard earned money after over 40 years of my trusting them with my assets. it. I do not know how long this has been going on.
In regards to this matter, I filed a case against Bank of America on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX # is:XXXX.
I am writing to you again to provide you with additional evidence. Not only Bank of America has failed to make scheduled payments on time and in the amounts I had planned to pay creditors ; they have also pretended to make payments to my XXXX XXXX account but my creditor denies receiving any such payment.- When contacting customer service at XXXX XXXX card ( account number : XXXX ) they have acknowledged receiving payment for {$45.00} but denied receiving {$100.00} The {$45.00} payment occurred only because I personally went to the XXXX XXXX store located in XXXX, MA. I gave them the cash money I had with me, {$45.00}. I had to pay cash because when using my Bank of America debit card, payment to the XXXX XXXX was declined. My Bank of America account had funds to pay {$120.00}.
As you can see in the enclosed pictures, Bank of America has been damaging my credit worthiness and stealing my money from my Bank of America account. These pictures show the illicit behavior in the following ways : -Deduction of {$100.00} but never paid XXXX XXXX.
-Letter of complaint by XXXX in regards to only receiving {$45.00} while Bank of America kept {$100.00} kept in their pocket on XX/XX/XXXX.
-Another issue is their scheduling a payment for {$120.00} payment to XXXX XXXX without my knowledge or consent to be paid on XX/XX/XXXX.
I will be permanently closing my Bank of America account but it will take months before I can accomplish this goal because of the very cumbersome process of reporting any account changes to multiple health insurance companies, EAPs Programs, etc.
So far, I have been spending numerous hours on the phone calling creditors but I am the one who is not being believed, PLEASE protect me and the public from Bank of America I do want this complaint to be published but my account numbers and name must be deleted as bringing public attention to my personal matters is not appropiate in my profession.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I received a XXXX package from Bank of America first thanking me for returning my loan modification agreement and then stating that they identified the title to the property lists additional parties who must sign and acknowledge, even if those parties are not obligated under the note. In the third sentence I was offered {$100.00} to sign the loan modification since they needed my help. My first thought was fraud mainly because of the {$100.00} offer since I am aware of XXXX which states no " Things of Value '' so I immediately called BOA and told the phone specialist why I was calling and to help me understand why I received a loan modification I never applied for. She put me on hold and came back with the response that she could n't find anything regarding the package I received and that it must be fraud and to ignore it. As a Banker and also in the process of maintaining my mortgage licence, I take fraud seriously and told her that was not an acceptable answer so she sent me to another department quickly.
The new phone specialist at BOA was more helpful. She did some research and while i was on hold, I went through the XXXX pages that were XXXX to me. I noticed that this was not a new modification, but reflected back to my loan modification in XXXX. When she came back on the phone I shared this with her and she also clarified this was from XXXX. She said that the City/County rejected the Deed of trust since the notary stamped over my signature. I questioned this since it is now 6 years later and they just found this out? She said their was someone the other day who had the same issue from 7 years ago. After completing my course in preparation for my mortgage license exam, I know for a fact that within 30 days of signing your loan agreement it is sent down for recording mainly to make sure the bank ( BOA ) is fully secured by the dwelling ; this was not a City/County issue, this was a BOA issue in not reporting my deed of trust in a timely, mandatory way.
Ironically, I have been fighting my loan modification for 5 years and have complained through the CFPB three times with no help from Bank of America. Now they need me to resign paperwork that I have been fighting all this time and disagree with? I do n't think so. Not only will I NOT be signing the wrongful loan modification that ruined my life for years, I am also accusing Bank of America of the following violations through the CFPB.
RESPA / XXXX XXXX : THINGS OF VALUE ( offering me {$100.00} in cash to resign paperwork they messed up on 6 years ago.
XXXX / XXXX XXXX : NOTICE OF INCOMPLETE APPLICATION. BOA had 30 days of receipt to notify me of any discrepancies, not XXXX days.
FCRA / XXXX XXXX : FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT. Going back to my original dispute on XXXX, I simply asked BOA to fix my credit report to reflect my new loan amount and not my original from XXXX. Why? Because I was rejected from refinancing and taking advantage of the new loans out there for FHA including a streamline. Reason was that my original balance and current balance are different showing my LTV at 120 %. I was told by many loan processors that this was wrong and BOA needed to fix it, they never did.
XXXX / XXXX XXXX : ABILITY TO REPAY AND STEERING : When I originally called to inquire about a loan modification in XXXX, I was told to NOT make my monthly payments for at-least 4 months and then call back to request a loan modification. Instead of helping me in XXXX when my loan modification was finally completed, they increased my rate and monthly payment amounts, which I am still stuck with today.
From my knowledge when it comes to title and recording, if the city does not have BOA as my current lien holder since they waited 6 years to turn in my paperwork, I now own my home free and clear. I am willing to work with them but this will not be a XXXX way street like it has for the past 6 years.

Complaint: Bank of America is holding an XXXX paycheck for more than 10 days simply for processing. There is no question of the validity of the check, its source or any account disputes that need to be resolved. They are simply holding the money that I earned hostage and now I am not able to buy XXXX for my family. These banking procedures are antiquated and preposterous. I will pull all of my money out of the U.S. banking system and keep everything in cash because I am so tired of my money not being available to me when I need it. BoA has the same procedures that many other financial institutions do and I have completely lost faith in the system. I want to be able to use my money when I receive it.
