Complaint: Received a voice mail at my place of employment from ( XXXX ) XXXX on XXXX XXXX, 2015 at XXXX. Message was " This is XXXX XXXX ( Spelling? ) you were listed as a contact for XXXX XXXX. If you can give me a call back my number is ( XXXX ) XXXX. First of all XXXX XXXX is my ex-sister-in-law going back XXXX years ago. Second of all she never listed me as a contact and doesnt even know my work number. I called this number back and advised them to never call my employer again and told them I am not affiliated with XXXX XXXX. I did private message her on XXXX to advise her of this call and she was going to call them. How dare they call me about someone else 's debt. How dare they call my phone at work. They lied when they said she listed me as a contact. She never did. We have no contact outside of the private message I sent her about this call.

I told them from the first call that I was not ever a contact for him, that this was my personal phone they were calling, that I was on the do not call list. They have called several times since then. They just called me again and I found out that today they called my parents XXXX parents XXXX wife ). They need to stop calling me and my parents XXXX parent 's phone is XXXX ) and they should be fined out of existence.

Complaint: This complaint is in regards to the XXXX XXXX, 2015 phone call the credit collection agency Account Discovery Systems ( ADS ), XXXX. XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX by the name of XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX made to an third party regarding my account they are collecting on. The original XXXX is XXXX, and original creditor account number being XXXX. I made an agreement with ADS XXXX XXXX to make payment of {$370.00} per month on this account. Since then, I have never been late or missed a payment. On XXXX XXXX XXXX from ADS placed a call to a third party in an attempt to get ahold of me to offer a settlement agreement. I received a text message from the person he called explaining XXXX from ( XXXX ) XXXX was looking for me. The voice mail message to the recipient identified my name. The number was viewed on caller ID by the recipient who went ahead and called the number to see who it was. The recipient was able to use caller ID to call the number ADS left on their caller ID identifying the call was from Account Discovery Systems and was an attempt to collect a debt under my name. Now that the recipient had my name, phone number and the reason for the call, they then proceeded to send me a text message informing me the debt collector Account Discovery Systems is looking for you. I called the number the recipient left for me and it identified ADS was placing the call and it was for the collection of a debt. After the text, I called the number the recipient text and asked for XXXX and inquired why he was calling a third party regarding my account. XXXX said that he called the number he had on file for my daughter and the reason for the call was because they could n't get ahold of me to offer a settlement on the account. My complaint regarding what I just described is Account Discovery Systems had no known right under the law to investigate my personal information in an attempt to contact me just to ask me for a settlement on a debt I am already paying as agreed on. Further, Account Discovery Systems has a valid address and phone number for me on file and could have made the offer to me directly. I request the Consumer Financial Bureau to investigate and provide me with any remedies available under the law regarding any potential violations of the law regarding ADS 's unnecessary call to the third party only to offer me a settlement agreement on an account that is being paid on time and as agreed, which in turn is harassing me.

This is an investigation into ( MY Name ) I need to speak to him of his representing attorney Have him call XXXX in the mean time I will try to leave messages with ( my mother, my wife, my ex-wife, my sister, an unknown person, an uncle I have n't seen in XXXX years ). My wife called him and he said he was looking at our financial information and could tell we had money to pay him. He said he would call our current creditors and leave derogatory information. He then proceeded to tell my wife that " They '' original creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX could, would, and will get their money. At no point did he disclose his employer. We waited to call " After hours '' and it then says who what and where the call came from. I never received any written documentation from this company so I could dispute. I believe that due to me disputing information on my actual credit report that he was able to contact me.
