Complaint: First, the debt collector alluded to the fact he was associated with my XXXX loan providers. I turns out, he is freelance. Second, he offered a {$75.00} a month payment plan. He wanted me to see if I could get {$2500.00} to pay the whole thing off. If not, I would do the monthly payment. He wanted a little down, so we agreed on {$25.00}, which I paid, and received a receipt for. A week later, the day I was supposed to call him back, they pulled {$710.00} out of my account with out notice and without a receipt. This transaction was never discussed.

Complaint: Back in 2008 I worked for a mortgage company and had numerous employees. What I did not realize was that XXXX of the employees had a XXXX problem. The employee removed a credit card from my handbag and used it for numerous purchases which added up to a considerable amount of debt. The credit card was with XXXX. I disputed the charge with XXXX and reported it to the state police via a report. A copy is gone after XXXX XXXX. Shortly after the mortgage company headquarters filed bankruptcy which made the matter of paying bill even worse. I have been contacted by ADS to collect a debt for XXXX XXXX and they have been calling my cell constantly and the cells of my family member stating that there is an urgent matter that needs to be addressed. Needless to say they are scaring my family members. My daughter is pregnant, my granddaughter is only XXXX. My son works for the country prosecutors office They have called my husband at work and told them that I authorized him to pay the debt for me which was not the case. XXXX wrote the debt off as a charge off and while they are not attempting to collect this debt and it has exceeded the statute of limitations and I can not let this continue to upset my family. I was not provided the FDCPA or notified that the call was being recorded. I kept it short because I was at work and in a public area. He began throwing out settlement options. I stated that I needed verification of the debt emailed to me and that I would contact him the following morning. On XXXX/XXXX/16, I again received a call from XXXX XXXX who did not provide FDCPA or notify me that the call was being recorded until after he discussed settlement information and I began asking questions. Further, XXXX XXXX stated that if I paid the delinquent account " would be removed from my credit ''. I do n't believe that this is a true statement - it will not be " removed '' from my credit.

I have advised them to stop harrassing me, but they say that I did n't tell them ( the person speaking ) personally so they do n't know not to call me. They are also harrassing my husband and he has told them the same, we do not know who they are talking about and ca n't help, stop calling. It 's been going on for months and they use different phone number, with no caller ID. Complaint: I had previously been making payments to clear a former debt to this collection agency and recently I asked them not to submit a payment for the month of XXXX and to cancel any future payments. The representative agreed and still ran the payment through causing my bank account to go into a negative status and incur SF fees. My payroll check was just enough for my bills not including the {$65.00} so when this payment hit, it caused my other payments to bounce. Although the bank paid them, I was still charged {$68.00} in returned check fees. Someone at this company by the name of XXXX XXXX stated they would issue a refund of both the {$65.00} and the {$68.00} in fees if I faxed over my back statement which I did. The {$65.00} was refunded but not the {$68.00} for the fees. When I called on XXXX/XXXX/2015 around XXXX XXXX I was told by a gentleman that he was the only one in the office but when I asked for XXXX XXXX, this person swore he did not know who XXXX XXXX was and it was actually him I was speaking with. I just want my money put back into my account and not to be given the run around.
