Complaint: Getting calls about a debt that I settled and paid in XX/XX/2016, I do have the letter that debt was paid in full, told that to AFS and they keep on calling to collect on debt. I told them to send me letter to let me know who they are and when they purchased the debt, they refuse and want me to send them info about me and that I paid, when I told them I will not do such a thing they talk over me, threatening me with the law, than they hang up, this happened three times now and I told them everything has to be in writing, they totally disregard any of this and still keep on calling. I will not send them any info, because I dont know who they are and I still have not received any of paperwork that I asked for. I dont want to take a lawyer but I might not have a choice, so some help would be appreciated.

Complaint: Accelerated Financial Solutions violated fair credit reporting laws! They reported a debt that I called and disputed before they reported it. I disputed the validity of the debt before the 30 days that credit reporting law allows, and they reported it anyway! Now it is showing on my report and made my credit go down and I am disheartened by them violating my rights and degrading my credit score. On XX/XX/XXXX Accelerated Credit said they would not be reporting/stop reporting and then reported it to the credit bureaus on XX/XX/XXXX, and I want it deleted immediately, per fair credit reporting act law. Find copies attached. Accelerated Financial Solutions , LLC XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, VA XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX : Case # XXXX, XXXX XXXX Accelerated Financial Solutions , LLC received and reviewed the complaint submitted by XXXX XXXX. We understand that XXXX XXXX is disputing the account. We have asked the original creditor to provide us with the supporting documentation regarding the above mentioned account. In the meantime, we are requesting the credit reporting agencies remove this trade line and we will cease all activity on this account while we investigate this matter. Complaint: OnXX/XX/XXXX around XXXX I contacted Accelerated Financial Solutions LLC about a debt placed on my credit report concerning XXXX. The original amount of the XXXX debt was for {$790.00} dating to XXXX of XXXX, Accelerated Financial Solutions LLC placed the debt as being from XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$1800.00}. I spoke to a representative from Accelerated Financial Solutions LLC who said his name was XXXX XXXX about the fact that he re aged the debt and also placed the wrong amount of my credit report. XXXX even read the original date and amount of debt off to me over the phone. XXXX stated he would absolutely NOT send me any validation of the debt or change anything unless I paid him something over the phone. He said the debt has been validated and paperwork was sent. I told him I have been calling and asking numerous times for validation on this debt and have received nothing, he said well it will not be sent and that I need to pay him now. By the end of the conversation he read off my home address and my email and said your request has been noted but do n't plan on receiving anything unless I set up a payment arrangement with him. I told them what he 's doing is illegal and he stated he knows what the law is.

Complaint: Upon receiving a letting in the mail. That they had purchased a debt that had already been removed by the FTC regulartor, I immediately called the company to let them know the debt was not valid. They provided no help or resolution to removing the item from my credit file. I came to consumerfinance.gov to get the information to them in writting. I forwarded to them the information proving that the item had been removed, and that they should cease all attempts to collect this debt including reporting to the credit companies. I received this response from the company '' Accelerated Financial Solutions , LLC received and reviewed the complaint submitted by customer. We understand that Mr . Customer is disputing the account. We have asked the original creditor to provide us with the supporting documentation regarding the above mentioned account. In the meantime, we are requesting the credit reporting agencies remove this trade line and we will cease all activity on this account while we investigate this matter. Upon completion of our investigation and receipt of any supporting documentation, we will provide you with a copy of all material we receive in whatever fashion Mr . Customer would like ( email, fax, etc ). If you have any questions, please call us at XXXX. Our office hours are Monday through Friday XXXX EST. I removed my name from the above response. This debt appears on my XXXX credit file. Accelerated never sent me any information, as they said they would. And are now reporting to my credit file. This is contrary to what they said they were going to do. The original debt had already been removed from my credit file. They purchased the debt after the original debt had been found to be not valid. This is in clear violation of my rights. This item must be removed. From all credit files. I did everything I am supposed to do to protect myself, but accelerated violate my rights.

Complaint: Name : XXXX XXXX Acct # : XXXX Debt Amount : XXXX Best method of contact : Email - XXXXXXXXXXXX I received a letter on XX/XX/XXXX informing me that that AFS bought my XXXX account on XX/XX/XXXX for {$4600.00}, I responded to that letter with a letter asking for an explanation of fees and additional charges, however I also placed a call to gather more information. I really must say that I struggled over which course of action to take to protect myself from what I took to be " retaliatory '' comments during this first contact. I didnt know whether to escalate the contents of the call to in house quality assurance, hire a lawyer or file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and after searching for complaints against your firm, I opted to contact in house quality first. XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX CST - I called AFS and spoke with XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ). After the account verification was done, we began to discuss my account and charges. I didnt dispute the XXXX account, I kept asking about the balance, because my records show a balance of {$2200.00} and what was being presented was {$2300.00} over that amount. She told me that the balance included service fees, however my account was flagged for a reduced rate. She told that I could pay {$3200.00} in several different ways but, it had to be paid in 90 days ( 1, 2, 3 or 6 payments ). I explained that I could not pay that balance in 90 days, no matter the number of payments. As the call progress and I repeat several times that I would like details about the additional charges and that I cant pay the amount in 90 days, XXXX XXXX, tells me ok XXXX XXXX I cant keep throwing numbers out at you what is your best offer. I told her I was collecting information that I would need to speak with my husband about the options given and callback. At that point an already heightened conversation blew up. She accused me of stalling negotiations since I couldnt meet the 90 day request. She then began to tell me that I should know what I purchased and began to read the items out loud several times ( as if being petty or to shame me ), she involved others in her conversation since her co-workers could hear her/us going back and forth of courtesy and procedure. She told me that I need to calm down and I told her I was matching her attitude and method of verbal communication at which point to stated that she would calm down so that I could. She then precedes to get permission from someone to push my account through to them since I am stalling that I no longer had 30 days to negotiate a payment plan that that from this point my file would the accelerated through to them. This part of the conversation felt very threatening, in hindsight it dawned on me that she was talking about the credit bureaus. She kept saying since you acknowledge the debt you are responsible for the full amount. I told I was disputing the validity of a portion of the debt. I kept asking who they were she just said come on XXXX XXXX you know the words you are using and are just stalling. I dont know XXXX XXXX, so I dont know how she knows when I am stalling. I dont know what words in gathering more information about a business transaction proves that a persons shouldnt be allowed time to discuss such matters with their spouses. As I explained I cant commit {$3200.00} of my household budget without discussing it with my husband. I understand that collections can be a stressful experience, however each client/customer/debtor should be treated courteously. I would like to discuss this matter further with someone that is willing to work with me. And not assume I am a bad person because of 1 account in dispute. -- XXXX XXXX

Complaint: I disputed an account the showed up on my credit file. It was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Directly after the dispute the item changed to XXXX. Then when they did not respond the item was removed from my credit file. Neither the original account or the second name of the original account are on my credit file. I never recognized this item. It is identity theft. After the items were removed from my credit file I got a letter from AFS in the mail trying to collect the debt. When I called the company as the letter requested, the person on the phone did not know who consumerfinance.gov was, refused to acknowledge that the accounts have already been removed from my credit file. I tried to explain that the debt his company purchased was not valid. He refused to listen. He offered me no solutions for the hishap. He didnt offer to send a fraud/ID theft package. He also told me the debt was valid, and would n't look into what had already happened. This item is not on my credit file as of yet, and should not be on there. The company needs to stop trying to collect a debt that has already been found to be fraudulent. I tried to included XXXX in this current dispute, but they are still not a valid company with consumerfinance.gov. I included documents to show that cfpb.gov sent it to the regulator ftc, and then the item was removed from my credit file. Please cease and desist any further collection attempts including putting item back on my credit file.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX called me at XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2017 from a deceptive phone number XXXX. They are not a local company to my area. As soon as I answered the phone a man started asking me why I had n't paid my payment arrangement. I asked who he was with and said that I have never made any payment arrangements with anyone for anything. I asked him what he was talking about and he said I had made payment arrangements and did n't pay them. He said I was on recording making those arrangements and I repeatedly told him that I have never made arrangements with anyone for anything because I did n't know what he was talking about. I asked him to send me a copy of the recording if what he was saying was true. He told me " No, I do n't have to ''. I then told him that under Federal law, he had to send me proof of anything he was claiming. He then told me that I did n't know what I was talking about and to shut my mouth. He said that I needed to pay my bills and to shut up and get off his phone. He then hung up on me. He was very verbally abusive to me and called while I was at work and would not agree to validate anything he was claiming.

Complaint: Hi, My name is XXXX i was contacted by a company called Accelerated Financial Solutions on XX/XX/XXXX. Please see link to their website http : //www.acceleratedfinancial.net/ They called me from phone number XXXX XXXX XXXX. They claimed that i had an outstanding debt to XXXX for {$260.00}. They claimed i opened the account in XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXXi was XXXX. I asked for info regarding the alleged debt such as the account number, where the account was opened. They were not able to provide me with any info other than i owed them money. I have never had an account with XXXX. I reached out to XXXX to see if there was ever an account opened with my social and XXXX fraud department told me they have no account in their system with my social. I feel like Accelerated Financial Solutions was trying to scam me. After speaking with the XXXX fraud department I called AFS back and advised what XXXX had told me. The woman is spoke with was rather hostile as i asked for me info on this matter. The woman at AFS claimed that XXXX does n't keep their customer account data forever and that is why XXXX had no record of the alleged debt/account. I told them i felt like was being scammed and I do admit i was not very nice and used some not very nice words. I asked for them to mail me all the possible info on this alleged debt. They claimed they would only send me a one page document with a letterhead claimed the account would be closed.. At the end of the call the woman i spoke with claimed that it was identity theft and due to the account being opened in XX/XX/XXXX( when i was XXXX ) that the matter was closed and that i did n't owe them any money. I am not sure if you all are the right people to reach out to regarding this matter but i truly feel as these people were trying to scam me.
