XXXX and XXXX have both completed their research and determined that AMERICAN EXPRESS was not established by myself but XXXX keeps verifying this accounts. Also, when I called the company they responded that XXXX did not send them all of the verifying evidence to confirm each account is unverified.

Transferring points to airline miles is one of the stated benefits of the American Express Platinum Card that I have. Complaint: I have maintained a credit score in the 800+ for the past 20 years. On Monday XX/XX/XXXX, I applied for a home equity line of credit and was advised by the bank that my credit report showed a charge-off and collection status for an American Express account in my name. This information was reported to the credit reporting agencies by American Express ( AMEX ) in or around XX/XX/XXXX. Therefore, my application would not go forward. Between Monday XX/XX/XXXX to today ( Thursday XX/XX/XXXX ), I have made over 100 telephone calls and sent several e-mails ( copies attached ) to AMEX. AMEX has not issued the letter they promised to send me stating that the report they made to the credit bureaus was an error and would be deleted from my account. E-mails and telephone calls to the chairman 's office and executive office have been ignored. AMEX refuses to provide any information whatsoever regarding the application information associated with this account they provided to the credit reporting agencies. I also filed disputes with the credit reporting agencies but the incorrect information reported by AMEX report WILL NOT BE REMOVED until AMEX initiates removal. I HAVE NEVER APPLIED OR CARRIED AN AMEX CARD. I HAVE NEVER LIVED IN TEXAS. 3. I have lived at two ( 2 ) addresses for the past 30 years in homes jointly owned by my wife and I. I never lived in Texas, but American express reported a Texas address associated with the derogatory account information AMEX reported to the credit bureaus. I never receive a call or any mail regarding this account from AMEX or any collection agency. I have been married ONCE and will celebrate 30 years next month. ALL CREDIT APPLIED FOR IN THE LAST 30 YEARS HAVE BEEN DONE JOINTLY WITH MY WIFE. 4. I am now withdrawing the needed funds from my XXXX and will have 20 % withheld as well as other penalties. 5. I am over XXXX years old.

Complaint: I have been an American Express customer for more than 5 years, frequently using their cards and amassing membership reward points. I went to use the points today that I have used over the years and was unable to. They are " reviewing '' my account, but are unable to tell me when the review started, what triggered the review, or when I would be hearing back regarding the review. Furthermore, I was not contacted about this review - only my own attempts to use the points demonstrated the review implemented. I have {$4000.00} in points being held hostage with no explanation.

Complaint: I currently hold a bluebird card through American Express, and this is the third time this month that I have had issues accessing my money. There has been zero help trying to assist me with the problem. The first two were issues on their end, this last issue they are claiming that XXXX is having issues with their system and there's nothing that they can do to give me back my money now. I was rudely told to contact XXXX and basically hung up on once I asked to speak to a supervisor. Contacted XXXX they have instructed me to contact my credit card .... Here 's a brief summary of what I've been charged. I made a {$160.00} purchase on XXXX that cleared. On XX/XX/XXXX I again was charged XXXX that also cleared, then another transaction of XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX says merchant hold for review. Then on XX/XX/XXXX another XXXX purchase was placed on my account, putting the account into an negative balance. No one at Amex seems to want to help me.

Complaint: Enclosed is the documentation for the fraud claim. Numerous accounts were opened and charges were made in my name. There were numerous cash advances and balance transfers. I am appealing the entire card and all the charges. Listed below are the reasons for the appeal. Please consider them. Thank you. My sister opened numerous cards in my name and continued to charge on them until I discovered the accounts and closed them. All contact information is hers, including the mailing address, email info, and phone numbers. My name is on the bill, and my SSN is on the account, but all other info is hers. 1. I have never known any account number of any credit card issued. There were 13 cards opened, and I had no access to the account numbers. 2. I have never physically seen any of the cards. 3. I am blocked from accessing the account information online, because she directed the verification code to her phone number and e-mail. I am still unable to access most of the credit card statements to print for documentation. 4. She made it seem as if I set up the accounts, with password and login appearing to be me. But all contact information is hers, since she set up all accounts without my knowledge. 5. The mailing address in not mine, but the bill is in my name. I have never lived at that address. 6. She never told me about any charges before or after they were made. I have never learned of any charges on any card. 7. She has made numerous cash advances without my knowledge. It wasnt me who made the withdrawals, because I have lived overseas for 15 years, and am not physically present in the US or in Ohio. 8. She never told me the accounts ( sometimes two cards with the same company ) were being made. Never asked permission. 9. She never volunteered any information about the cards in general ( account numbers, balances, etc. ), until I asked her about them recently, which led to the fraud claim. We ran the credit report, because we got a notice from XXXX regarding a decrease in the score. At that time, I learned about all the cards and the total balance due. 10. I have never seen a bill from any credit card company, online or on paper. 11. I live overseas and could not have been present to make the purchases. Please see the alien card and passport at proof. 12. The wrong contact info is on the account. 13. All usage was only for her needs. 14. She did not seek approval for any cards issued or any charges. 15. I do not know when the accounts were opened. 16. The billing address and the contact information is hers. However, my name is listed as the owner of the account. The name listed on the account is XXXX XXXX XXXX. My legal name is XXXX XXXX XXXX. The two names do not match. I have supplied documentation of my legal name and the billing statement. Please note the mismatch of the names. In XX/XX/XXXX, I ran a credit check and discovered this account had been opened in XX/XX/XXXX ( without my knowledge ). She never informed me of the account or any of the charges. For these reasons, these accounts are fraudulent. Please advise me how to proceed. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. That is my husbands phone number. If possible, please call my husbands cell, since he never misses calls. If you call, please note the 12 hour time difference ( ahead ). Thank you for your attention. I have called AMEX fraud department three times since XX/XX/XXXX ( when I filed the fraud claim ). They have assured me the account will be cleared but it has not ( as of XX/XX/XXXX ). It is currently under dispute.
