Complaint: ALLY FINANCIAL, they have done this to me twice, they call 3-5 times a day after you are late 5 days, they offer you a loan extension to place the owed payment on the back of the loan if you pay right away, once you pay, you get a call usually about 10 days later, but in my case they called about 7 days later requesting back payment, I informed them of the extension payment and they tell you that you had to sign and return by mail, not fax, or email this letter, once I told her that its not been 10 days, shes says my extension request was denied ..there was never a mention of any letter, just payment

Complaint: I attempted to send payment to my landlord via XXXX, which I had done five or six times before without a problem. The transaction was scheduled for XX/XX/2019, and it reported as successful on my end. The money never arrived at my landlord 's bank. I re-sent my rent, again via XXXX, and it went through, but now I have been double charged for rent and have not been refunded for the initial missing payment. My landlord and I have both contacted his bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and they have no record of an inbound payment. I have contacted my own bank, Ally, several times. They closed the ticket the first time after giving me some confirmation numbers that were of no help. I contacted them again twice, with no resolution. They say they are reviewing it and that it can take up to 90 days, but I'll be missing {$700.00} from my account while they pass around my third ticket in their offices with seemingly no recourse.
Summary : I sent {$700.00} from Ally Bank via XXXX to my landlord. It never made it to him, but it was deducted from my account. I want my {$700.00} back.

Problem with paying off the loan
Complaint: My wife had a lease thru ALLY Financial. On XX/XX/2018 a driver struck my wife 's XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX creating a total loss. The lease was still midway thru a 3 year lease. After the other driver was cited and contacting our insurance company they directed us to contact ALLY to get a payoff amount so we could search for another vehicle promptly. On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted ALLY financial informing them of the accident and requested the amount owed to ALLY for the vehicle so we could tell the insurance company. They provided us an amount of {$26000.00} was owed on the vehicle. XXXX XXXX valued the vehicle at {$30000.00} which would pay {$29000.00} after deductible. This made somewhat sense considering i put over {$3000.00} down on the vehicle on top of taxes and fees and we receive employee pricing with XXXX. We in turn had to immediately purchase another vehicle as once the vehicle is deemed a total loss the rental car is no longer covered. We took the amount ALLY provided us and used the {$3500.00} difference between that and what we would recieve from the insurance company towards another car. This is where myself and the insurance company are dumbfounded as ALLY would not give the insurance company a payoff amount. They said the insurance company must provide them with there payout evaluation so ALLY could provide a payoff amount. XXXX sent them the payoff amount of {$29000.00} and in turn ALLY sent them a letter of guarantee to release the title for the car for {$29000.00}. ALLY very conspicuously said there accounting department valued the car to the penny the same as XXXX 's payoff amount. We contacted ALLY notifying them of the error and this is where the predatory practices get really bad. ALLY transferred us to there total loss department. That department confirmed the payoff amount was {$26000.00} but once the vehicle is deemed a total loss it is there policy to collect the full amount the insurance company is willing to pay. I point blank asked them if the amount i owed them at the time was {$1000.00} would they be requesting the {$29000.00} from the insurance company and to my chagrin the female employee stated yes that is our policy. To be clear while leasing a {$35000.00} car whether you put XXXX dollars down or {$30000.00} down ALLY 's standard practice is not to accept what is owed to them it is to financially XXXX victims of accidents of the entire settlement amount to replace there vehicle. We have contacted ALLY with the insurance company many times and the adjuster is mindblown that ALLY wont give them a payoff amount and will only state they will accept the entire check for the vehicle to provide a letter of guarantee. I believe ALLY FINANCIAL is financially bankrupting, assaulting and taking advantage of consumers in there toughest times thinking these consumers will just take give in. I am more then happy to pay them what is owed which they confirmed on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX to be {$26000.00} so all parties can move on from this but ALLY now will not discuss the matter with myself, XXXX XXXX or anyone else besides to say we sent a payoff letter and you can pay that. I have instructed my insurance company to put the claim on hold until this matter can be amicably resolved. But these predatory practices needed to be brought to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau 's attention so that the thousands if not millions of ALLY costumers aren't at risk of this fraudulent activity. I dont know how to pay ALLY and move on from this situation and either does XXXX XXXX. Hopefully this process will alleviate this issue.

Complaint: I purchased this vehicle XX/XX/2018 under the impression that there was a 3 day return policy which was advertised on the website and conveyed to me prior purchased. I returned the vehicle XX/XX/2018 they then advised me that the warranty didnt apply to this vehicle which I was unaware of. I took the car back and they threatened me that my credit would be at risk. They refused to take the car back and basically forced me to take the car after I advised them I didnt want the vehicle. They forced the vehicle on me only to find out there was over {$1500.00} in repairs that was undisclosed. And this was discovered 2 days after purchase. I want them to take back the loan and to make me whole again.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I got a loan in the amount of {$900.00} from XXXX XXXX. They advised on the phone before I received the money that don't worry about the amounts displayed on the screen we don't charge like that so I then decided to take the loan. Over the course of the loan they had withdrawn more than {$2300.00} without my authorization from my checking account and the money owed never went down. I advised my bank to refund their money back and to refund me all money taking on false pretense from the merchant Ally Bank advised they were in the process of returning the original amount deposited if I would continue with the dispute I advised that was fine. I call back and Ally refused to refund me my money for the unauthorized charges due to misleading people who would speak to you before you received your money, XXXX XXXX agents lie to consumers advising one thing and putting another on paper in order to continue to call harass and debit a customers checking account. They charge more than 300 percent in interest which is against the law to the consumer regarding a loan. Ally Bank acted like they were going to refund my money did a dispute and no money was received lost over {$2300.00} in unauthorized charged which I called the bank and advised them.

Complaint: At this time I want to inform you that because your office is reporting invalidated information to the 3 major Credit Bureaus this action constitutes fraud under both Federal and State Laws. Due to this fact, I will not hesitate to bring legal action against you for the following : Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act Violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Defamation of Character On XX/XX/2018 I opened the following case with the CFPB XXXX. This case was closed today, but the information required by law was not provided in the answer from the company. I received the original instrument, according to state law ALLY financial has to provided deficiency notices in order to report a repo on my credit report. This was not received per FCRA this has to be removed because 30 days has passed and the company has not provided the legal requirement to have the right to report this on my credit history. There have been several miss-applied payments to the account in question. Each time a call was made to ALLY financial when each misapplied payment was made.
IN addition to this, I have disputed the information on my credit file and ALLY financial should have notice of this information as well.
The request to provide a notarized copy of the deficiency notices mailed to the address on file has not been satisfied. Legally this would be considered fraud. I will open up a case with the FTC and file a ID theft notice and seek legal action against ALLY financial for violation of FTC up to {$1000.00} per occurrence.
Once again in a timely manner please remove this information from my credit report

Complaint: I have disputed with Ally Financial numerous times that they show I owe them for 2 loans on my credit report. However, its actually the same loan being reported twice. I have submitted 3 disputes through the bureaus directly stating that they have a duplicate trade line but they respond that it is accurate. I do not owe them for 2 loans. It is severly impacting my credit because it shows that I have a higher debt ratio than I truly do.

Complaint: This is about ALLY FINANCIAL. I paid this auto loan off in full. I received my title and payoff letter. On my credit report the loan was closed out but then days later I noticed a duplicate account made with a balance reported. I called a number of times for a number of days. No one would give me a straight answer and there were times when operators were disconnecting calls. It wasnt until XX/XX/19 when I got a letter stating the balance owed was for a repo charge. I never even had a late payment and like I stated earlier the balance is paid in full. When I would talk to someone, instead of correcting the obvious error, they would just bounce me to another department. I am beyond frustrated at this point and feel that no consumer should have to go through this.

I am not currently working since then and am waiting for my severance pay. Complaint: Several companies and credit card companies have kept old information on my credit report even though it has been well over 7 years since the debt occurred and the accounts were closed.
XXXX XXXX Credit Card opened on XX/XX/XXXX has been closed for years but is still showing on my credit report as owing {$1400.00}.
XXXX XXXX opened XX/XX/XXXX has been closed for years and still is showing on my credit report as owing {$890.00}.
XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is showing 9 different accounts on my credit reports and open XX/XX/XXXX and closed over 7 years ago and still showing I owe {$1700.00}.
Ally Financial ( unpaid car loan ) was closed over 7 years ago but they keep sending the debt to new collection agencies and thus lowering my credit score and adding negative debt in the amount of {$23000.00}.
There is also fraudulent activity on my credit reports and I have filed police reports with the XXXX NC Police Department and charges have been filed against the person responsible for the fraudulent activity and opening of accounts with my personal information.
