Complaint: I purchased my vehicle back in XXXX 2015 - My XXXX payment was due XXXX/XXXX/2015 - I made that payment on time payment was made in full by XXXX/XXXX/2015. I then contacted Ally the next day to request a ddc. My next due date was not until XXXX but financially my due date being in the middle of month is a better fit. So I requested a ddc and the reps are telling me I must make half of my payment in order to get a due date change. I asked the rep why is it I need to make a partial payment when I just paid you guys the previous day and also my account is not even due at this time. They are unable to give me answer only to say this is company policy. I then was transferred to someone else because I need better understanding as to why this is needed. I was still unable to get an answer. The rep only told me to call in closer to my due date and request the ddc so I waited. I then contacted Ally XXXX/XXXX/2015 to request a ddc they then in turn told me again I have to now make a {$94.00} payment in order to get a ddc I asked for an explanation no rep could give me an answer other than its company policy. I requested supervisor at this time for better clarification on this. The manager still says its company policy, my question is why is it acceptable to collect on an account the is not even delinquent or past due. She could not give an answer only gave me options. Options were to pay XXXX and get due date change to XXXX, or wait until the day I can pay on XXXX I would not get a late fee due to the state but I may get a couple of calls. I do not want to the calls about a payment that can be paid on time and also if I were to pay XXXX and go past due I am still being charged a daily perdium on the loan due to the interest rate alone. The supervisor unfortunately still could not answer the question of why money is requested for an account that was not past due. Since I was getting no where with them I went ahead and went thru ddc process and paid {$100.00} to get it done. Today XXXX/XXXX/2015 Im still waiting for my paperwork to sign and send back my ddc has not been done I went ahead and paid my car payment for XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/2015 so I was charged for 3 days of extra interest which is very upsetting. This was a bad decision to have my car financed with such a money hungry company. I would like an explanation on why Im being charged for due date change and a payment is not due. I will be contacting a lawyer in regards to this to verify if this is even legal. This is a poor excuse for a company.

Complaint: I had a leased vehicle. When I turned it back to XXXX I was billed {$600.00}. I am XXXX yrs old, get food stamps and can not make ends meet. The lease had been paid by a relative who can no longer help. It was financed through Ally. I have been sending a {$10.00} check faithfully every month. However Multiple phone calls continue to come although I have contacted them both by phone and mail. Although I have blocked the calls they continue to leave messages which use up my meager allotment of minutes on my cell, my only phone.

Complaint: cosigned for a loan for XXXX. she had all cash in bank at the time to pay off loan.
when I read the information they had changed that XXXX lived me which she did not and that she worked for me which she did n't. she then paid off loan after ally finanancial said the transaction would happen immediately and then XXXX removed the funds from XXXX bank and took possession of car. Ally financial did not let me know till nine days latter.

Complaint: I have been in contact with Ally Financial 's overseas customer service department, then their fraud department, then several supervisors, and never received several return phone calls as promised about the fact that they have erroneously reported that I paid XXXX payments thirty days late to the credit bureaus, when even by their latest missive that is INCORRECT. A single car payment was {$660.00} per month at that time. Many attempts to have this rectified have them ascertaining that they reported it correctly ; when from what they 're saying and what they sent to all of the credit bureaus {$1200.00}, is not reflective of what they, themselves is incorrect. I have been going on with this issue for two months and either they are n't doing the math, or they 're just refusing to correct their errors. Thank you.

Complaint: i wrote XXXX checks and Ally bank bounced all XXXX and locked my account. When I called to find out what happen, a rep and a supervisor told me the checks were submitted on the morning of XXXX/XXXX/15 and my money transfer did n't arrive until the evening of the same day. I used Ally site to transfer money from my saving account at XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/15 and Ally locked up {$100.00} for transfer on that date. I made a second call the next day and was told by another rep the same story, I then asked to speak with a supervisor who then changed the story line and tried to claim the checks arrived on XXXX/XXXX/15 and the money did n't arrive until XXXX/XXXX/15 and that was the reason why they bounced. The problem is I have a print out from XXXX XXXX XXXX dating the money transferr to Ally bank XXXX/XXXX/15 and a copy of the check transaction dated XXXX/XXXX/15 from XXXX XXXX whom XXXX of the checks was written to, XXXX also states that all the checks had a transaction decline date of XXXX/XXXX/15. Why did Ally bank bounce the checks and lock the account when they had my money to cover the checks? I want to be reimburst $ XXXX+ in fees Ally actions has caused.

Complaint: At the end of my lease in 2014, I turned in my car to the dealership when I picked up my new car. After Ally Financial picked up the car from the dealership, they assessed lease-end fees of $ XXXX. I was able to settle with them for a lesser amount, which I paid in the time requested to settle the account. Due to a system error on Ally 's part, they reported that negotiated difference as outstanding and it was sent to collections. I was able to get this corrected with Ally, but my credit report still shows that as a serious delinquency, even after it was corrected.
