A man by the name of XXXX told me this via the XXXX whom worked for the financial aid office. Complaint: On XX/XX/18 all of my student loan accounts reported by FedLoan Servicing were incorrectly reported as XXXX days late and continue to be reported as XXXX days late on all of my credit reports. Problem with customer service
Complaint: I received a direct debit bill for {$300.00} on XX/XX/2019 for payment due XX/XX/2019. My online account currently appears to show that direct debit will occur for that amount. On XX/XX/2019, I received an email indicating that only {$5.00} would be extracted from my account. Upon calling Fedloan on XX/XX/2019 at approx. XXXX EDT, I spoke with XXXX ( employee ID XXXX ) and she was unable to confirm that such an email was sent. I am concerned that the improper amount will be debited to ensure that XXXX will count towards PSLF and meet my loan repayment obligations.

Trouble with how payments are being handled
Complaint: Fedloan Servicing has under-counted my qualified payments for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. The company says that it reviewed my account and added two more months of qualified payments. However, I am missing 8 -10 months of payments. I filed a complaint with this office before but the office only reported back what Fedloan Servicing said. I hope this office does more than simply report back on what Fedloan Servicing says.

Trouble with how payments are being handled
Complaint: Hi. I had to resign from my job in XXXX XXXX to move back home to care for my sick father in XXXX, Texas. His health went into decline after my older brother passed away. After moving back to XXXX, Texas, I have struggled to find permanent employment. I have been working temporary jobs through staffing agencies, however at times I've gone from one to four months without any work assignments or income. In XXXX I ended an assignment and contacted AES/XXXX XXXX about my financial situation. I request an Income Based Repayment Plan with them around XX/XX/2018. They verbally approved it on the phone and said they would send me additional details. I did not receive additional information requests or forms to fill out. By XXXX, I called them again to find out what the status was, however they have been charging me for late payments the whole time. In XXXX they said that they received an approval from the Department of Education 's Student Loans agency indicating that I was approved for Income Based Repayment. I uploaded copies of my paycheck stubs and Tax forms. However, AES/XXXX said they rejected me because they did not receive those documents. I asked them why they did not take that up with the StudentLoans.Gov representatives and they said they did not know. I'm now over 6 months late on payments with them and they have not gone down or been adjusted based on my income, however late fees have accumulated. I feel like they have behaved in predatory ways and steered my loans into default by creating stonewalls in every way that I tried to adjust payments based on a change in my finances. When working with federal loans, I was able to upload all requested documents online, easily. This was not the case with XXXX/AES. When working with AES/XXXX, they did not allow me to upload documents online and said they sent things in the mail and they operate by old fashioned mail only. Before moving to XXXX, I paid all of my loans responsibly and I was gainfully employed. My credit score was above 650. Today, AES/XXXX has ruined my credit score and this will make it difficult to find permanent employment since most employers in my field conduct comprehensive background screenings that include credit checks. I would like my credit to be fixed and negative marks removed by AES/XXXX, and I would like to my account to be adjusted so payments are based on income and the fact that I have other loans as well.

Student loan: Federal student loan servicing

Trouble with how payments are being handled
Complaint: I became an employee of a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. While serving at the XXXX I returned to XXXX school and earned my XXXX degree in XXXX XXXX. I used student loans to pay for both my XXXX and XXXX studies. Once I completed my XXXX I researched consolidating my loans so that I could pay them off. I was then led to XXXX XXXX as the only companies that I could do this with as they were a part of the loan forgiveness program through the Department of Education. I applied and began my loan repayment XX/XX/XXXX. After making consistent payments for 10 years in XX/XX/XXXX, I reached out to the company to assure that I would only have 2 payments left in the 10 year repayment cycle. I spoke with a customer service representative that informed me that I had already made 133 payments of $ XXXX/month on a 120 payment cycle. He went on to say that I needed to resubmit my loan forgiveness paperwork due to their partner company ( XXXX XXXX ) fraudulently opening deferments. I have never taken or received a deferment. The customer service rep was also able to verify that I had made all of my required payments. In fact, he saw that I had overpaid but informed me that he would need to open an investigation. He warned that during the investigation that I would need to continue to pay, which I did. In XX/XX/XXXX I received a new promissory note that to my surprise stated that I was not eligible and would have to begin payments on the new loan until XX/XX/XXXX. I was totally shocked to see that they did not give me any credit for the payments of over {$49000.00} that I had made and essentially started the entire loan over from the beginning. As of XX/XX/XXXX, I stopped making payments and reached out to a few lawyers that I know. To no avail. I have researched other cases and found that there may be a class action suit for this. I NEED HELP any help you can offer. This has already negatively affected my credit and caused me a great deal of despair in trying to get someone to help me address this issue.

Student loan: Federal student loan servicing

Received bad information about your loan
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I filed a complaint with the CFPB ( complaint number XXXX-XXXX ) about my enrollment status being inaccurate. On XX/XX/XXXX, FedLoan replied stating that " none of the loans reflect Spring XXXX enrollment. '' This is what my record at FedLoan servicing should indicate as I have not been enrolled at any institution of higher education since XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX that stated that my enrollment status had once again changed on XX/XX/XXXX, after FedLoan responded to my CFPB complaint. This new documentation dated XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX appears to indicate that I am enrolled half-time. This would be incorrect information if it is what FedLoan believes and would directly contradict the statement in FedLoan 's reply to CFPB complaint XXXX-XXXX filed on XX/XX/XXXX.

Student loan: Federal student loan servicing

Trouble with how payments are being handled
Complaint: FedLoan servicing has continually placed me into retroactive administrative forbearance on loan sequences 01 and 02 during times of repayment, while I have been employed by a PSLF-eligible employer, and even while my loans were being serviced by another federal student loan servicer ( XXXX ). In response to CFPB complaints XXXX-XXXX and XXXX-XXXX, FedLoan removed this retroactive forbearance status but in accordance with a letter dated XX/XX/2019 has reapplied it again. Additionally, in accordance with CFPB complaint XXXX-XXXX, XXXX, my prior servicer, verified that I was in repayment with them during part of the time that FedLoan seeks to retroactively claim administrative forbearance and erase my payment history. I am concerned that FedLoan is attempting to erase time during which my loan was technically in repayment status and that they continue to make this error over and over again with no end in sight.

Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Complaint: Currently the FedLoan servicing is reporting two late payments XX/XX/18 and XX/XX/18 for 30 and 60 days past due. I was in a deferment and setting up a repayment plan with them and I have disputed this with them and the credit reporting agencies with no avail. Need information about your loan balance or loan terms
Complaint: My student loans date back to XXXX under the public service loan forgiveness program. XX/XX/XXXX I submitted a request to federal loans to have my loans transferred to them and they confirmed that all of my loans qualify for public service loans forgiveness and took over servicing my loans. I have been paying on my loans since XXXX when I graduated XXXX school and began XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX after Fed loans told me I qualified for the program, I was told I would received information regarding how many of the payments I have made over these last 7 years qualify towards my 10 years ( 120 loan payments ). I have contacted them about every 3 months since then and still have not received an answer when I was told originally it would only take 1-3 months to calculate this. It has now been 14 months and they still have not given me any information regarding my qualifying payments and continue to brush off my requests to have the qualifying payments calculated. I have resubmitted employer information for the 2 places I have worked that qualify for this program and am still making on-time payments every month. Current principle balance is {$310000.00}.
