Complaint: I have been a customer of wells Fargo for over 5 years. I noticed that as soon as i decided to have my check direct deposited I was being charged fees that was unwarranted. I believe wells Fargo deliberately sequenced my checking account to reflect me not having enough in my account to cover minor transactions so they could charge me overdraft fees. Now they said my account was not eligible for overdraft service so why am i subject to those fraudulent fees.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2017 a counterfeit check of {$490.00} was cashed and that money was removed from my account. I noticed it on XX/XX/XXXX and called and filed a dispute. They offered no credits or solutions for that amount money from a check that doesnt even look real. Due to the almost {$500.00} coming out of my account, i was charged XXXX overdrafts of {$35.00} on XX/XX/2017. At this time i have not received credit for my overdrafts ( XX/XX/2017 ). From XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX, i called in many times. The reason for my repeated phone calls is that nobody could tell me how soon i would get a resolution. At one point an associate told me that because this is covered by Reg E they dont have a timeframe that they need to resolve this issue ( really? ). I finally told them that i want to file a complaint which only made the situation worst. I was transferred to a very nice associate who was supposed to be able to handle these escalated calls. Unfortunately, she couldnt handle a counterfeit check claim circumstance so she conferenced called me into that area. I was on the phone waiting for at least a half hour before i hung up. She called me back to ask if i hung up and wanted to know if i wanted to start at the beginning of the line again waiting for that other department. i asked her to wait on hold for that department and call me back - she couldnt do that. i asked her to have someone from that department call me back - she couldnt do that either. it seems this person who was supposed to be able to handle escalations couldnt do anything. I finally got my credit for the check on XX/XX/XXXX ( still no credit for overdraft fees ) I realized today i needed to write a check - which i rarely do. i went into the branch and they wanted to charge me {$3.00} for counterchecks. i didnt want to pay that and the associate couldnt waive it so i asked to speak to a manager. i spoke to a very nice man in the wells fargo branch in XXXX delaware who told me that it wasnt stores fault what the back office did and they couldnt waive the {$3.00} ( what? ). I told him that i dont care who im talking to and that its wells fargo 's issue. he finally waived the fee and he submitted a complaint for me but the whole mentality of " not my fault '' was crazy to me. Im not sure what i want out of this except for the fact that in total i have spent about 10 hours on this issue. i still havent received my credit for overdrafts.

Complaint: I have filled a number of complaints about this company and the way that my mortgage has been handled. Most recently I filled a complaint stating that the bank was asking me to provide information that we had already provided and or information that was not relevant to my request to short sell my home. I received a response from Wells stating that they did in fact find errors in the way that my account was handled and that they were asking for things that were not needed. Also they approved my request for a short same right away after they admitted that mistakes were made. I am not sure that they reviewed the entire 23 months of my short sale process so far, or only the recent months. I want confirmation hat the entire time frame was reviewed because we have been going through this, and having the same problems this entire time! The customer service and the staff knowledge at Wells Fargo is horrible! I called to address this with Wells Fargo and explained that if they made mistakes on my mortgage and that it caused me to fall even further past due then they needed to fix the reporting as they were at fault for the time frame that this has been taking. The individual that I spoke to claimed that the entire time frame was reviewed but I have a very hard time believing this given their track record. She also told me " you have not made a payment for 22 months ''. Why yes ... I have not paid for 22 months because I have been trying to short sell my house and I can not make a payment while trying to sell my house! She assured me that she would review this and would reach out to me with her " findings ''. Shortly thereafter I get a letter in the mail ( attached ) stating that they were not going to change the way that the account was reported. I find it so sad that this bank can just mishandle accounts and not have any accountability for their actions. If my account was handled confidently and in a timely fashion I would not be this far past due. We probably could have had this completed MONTH if not YEARS ago!!! I know that Wells Fargo is known for opening checking accounts without the customer 's knowledge but it appears we should add " ruin customers financial futures for the fun of it '' and of course not hold you accountable. That sounds about right. Shame on you!

Complaint: Wells Fargo Bank offered a {$250.00} bonus to those who open a checking account with them and make 10 debits on it within 60 days. Three members of my family took advantage of that offer and the other two have successfully completed the debits and received their bonuses, but they singled me out for different treatment and froze my account without telling me. My debit card never worked and they told me I needed a new one but that one did n't work either. No one told me the real reason, and the 60 days is rapidly passing without my being able to fulfill my debits. Every time I ask what the problem is, I get a different answer, and every time I satisfy their queries, they come up with a new roadblock. I asked for my original deposit back if they would n't let me make debits on it, and they refused because they have frozen it. I have health problems and am depleted from dealing with this, with still no resolution. I have gone into the local branch three times and spent a great deal of time on the phone with them, as well as their HQ, including their fraud department. So far I am still being treated very differently than my other family members, who did exactly the same thing in exactly the same way. They keep making new requirements of me, that were not required of others, and when I meet their requirements they make new ones. Enough is enough.

Complaint: This is a simple request. I want Wells Fargo Home Equity Loan to report the correct Balance and monthly payment amount to the credit reporting agencies. Specifically, HELOC # XXXX was reported XX/XX/2017 ( see attached ), after filing a dispute with all three credit reporting agencies one month ago, that the monthly payment was NOT {$11000.00}. The current monthly payment amount is {$1200.00} as of XX/XX/2017. The principal balance on XX/XX/2017 was {$410000.00}. Please report the XX/XX/2017 monthly amount due and the principal balance on that date. This issue of incorrect balance reporting and incorrect monthly amount due has unfairly raised my monthly expense profile for Debt To Income ratio calculations. It creates unnecessary confusion for lending requests resulting in denials of credit and depresses my FICO score unfairly.

Complaint: I took out a loan for about {$70000.00} to finance XXXX pieces of XXXX for my XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX with a 7-month grace period. The funds were not released until XX/XX/XXXX. The XXXX failed in XX/XX/XXXX, and I contacted Wells Fargo Equipment Finance to make an offer to settle with no response. They contacted me about a week later to find out how to pick up the equipment, and no follow up calls were made. In XX/XX/XXXX, WFEF contacted me via email to tell me I owed them {$100000.00}, and that I was severely delinquent in the loan ( still under the grace period ) and repeatedly told me I made " XXXX '' payments ( the first payment could n't possibly be due until XX/XX/XXXX, and possibly as late as XX/XX/XXXX ). They calculated the {$100000.00} based on all the payments I would have made over the 5 1/2 years of the loan, including the interest for 5 1/2 years. 1. They intentionally misrepresented the amount currently due in order to intimidate me and possibly try to push a settlement. 2. They intentionally misrepresented the delinquency status of my account ( not delinquent at all, referred to as " severely past due '' ). 3. Not sure if this is just semantics, but they referred to the loan as a lease. It was not a lease, it was a purchase agreement they financed.

Complaint: The representatives of XXXX went to Wells Fargo Bank in XXXX, GA, on Wednesday on XX/XX/2017, and submitted documents on a promissory note. All representatives of XXXX sat in an office as we presented documents in order to process said documents. The intent of visit was clearly stated. Calls were made to confirm if the papers submitted were in process there was one document that needed to be changed and we retrieved the needed document. The Personal Banker said that, " It 's a go '' indicating we were ready to exchange on the promissory note. Then representatives of XXXX came in on Friday, XX/XX/2017, He attempted to open a business and savings account, which we did not request and, avoiding the very reason we came into the branch, which was to exchange legal tender ( promissory note ). We explained our intent and he then referred us to another Banking institution of Wells Fargo to speak with someone who dealt with our particular financial needs. We then, met with the Personal Banker 's, referal and then he explained that they do honor promissory notes as legal tender, negotiable instruments. He said we ca n't use our promissory note but Wells Fargo creates their own promissory note. We were then directed to corporate at Wells fargo. Several other calls were made to the corporate offices in California, one in XXXX and the other in XXXX XXXX, in attempts to exercise our rights regarding the promissory note according to the UCC law which is under the Federal Reserves and Maritime Law. [ Admiralty law or maritime law is a distinct body of law that governs maritime questions and offenses. It is a body of both domestic law governing maritime activities, and private international law governing the relationships between private entities that operate vessels on the oceans ]. There were 2 of the 3 callers that were very rude and unprofessional and absolutely hateful and mean, when asked questions regarding their position and if we could speak to someone else in a higher position. We got blown off and talked to as brutes, just overall violated our constitutional and civil rights and turned away without the anticipated services rendered that are due us. The corporate office representatives told us they do n't do promissory notes but two branch manager told us they do them and have done them. We have an actual recording of the conversation with one of the managers telling us that he has done several promissory notes and that Wells Fargo create their own ( PN ) on a certain type of paper. While on the phone with the corporate office representative of Wells Fargo, a call was made to the person we spoke to and we were informed by the corporate office representative, that the manager at the bank said he did n't tell us they do promissory note, it was a misunderstanding.
