Complaint: US Bank closed my account unfairly over a year ago. There were unauthorized charges which they didn't allow me to dispute when I called over the phone. They said I need to verify my identity at a branch and I did, on multiple occasions. They still wouldn't let me dispute those charges even though I faxed my identity documents for verification. They closed the account with approximately $ XXXX negative balance. It's unfair and I demand immediate access to my account and the ability to dispute charges or I'll seek Justice via trial by jury as granted by the 7th amendment. It's unfair and frustrating and has caused me financial hardships and ruined my financial reputation as I'm unable to open checking accounts.

Complaint: I called the US Bank Credit card number on XX/XX/2019 to see about lowering my interest rate ( now north of 23 % ). I asked them if they would change my card to a platinum card instead of a travel rewards, that way they can still make money and I save some. The usurious rate that they are charging should be illegal. 23 % I so much that I couldnt possibly dent it properly. Im not asking them to close the card, Im asking them to not charge an arm and a leg, specially when rates right now are so low. It seems completely abusive and I believe the cfpb needs to be made aware of that these big banks are doing to their regular consumers. They said no. That there was no invitation for me to lower my rate right now. I explained how it would be smart to do this cause I could get a balance transfer and terminate my relationship with them. They still said no. They will charge me 23.99 % on a {$14000.00} balance. Which is fantastic for them! They keep this up Im positive they will be the new XXXX XXXX.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX I purchased a home with XXXX XXXX for XXXX and was sold out to US Bank in XXXX! My home was severely damaged by a storm in XXXX of XXXX. I filed an insurance claim with my insurance company, XXXX XXXX. I received 2 checks for the damage to my home and they were both made out to me, US Bank and another company. US Bank instructed me to sign the checks in the amounts of XXXX and XXXX and send to them and they would send it back so I could repair my home! It has now been 1 year and 5 months and I have not received anything to fix my home and they are saying they never received the check in the amount of XXXX! My home has severe water damage and the roof is falling in and we have mold throughout the home! I stopped paying for my home because we were in a daily battle over letting me fix my home and they put my home up for sale so I had to contact a lawyer in order to keep my home! I have called in a licensed contractor to give me a new estimate on the damage to my home and he stated this home is a total loss! He stated the rafters and decking of the home are severely water damaged and the home should not be lived in due to the amount of mold in the home! I have lived in this home for 12 years and 2 months and I only paid XXXX for the home and as of today US Bank states I owe XXXX! I have contacted everyone possible for help in this matter! Please help!!!!!

In person we visited the bank with the death certificate and all information they required to close all accounts. Once the accounts were closed and settled we transferred the remaining funds into a trust for the beneficiary. Our daughter is still receiving emails and letters from US Bank regarding her accounts. XX/XX/XXXX : an email survey was sent to her, they want to know how they're doing. I responded to the survey, which was from XXXX XXXX XXXX on behalf of US Bank. They responded back to me they will pass the information to US Bank. XX/XX/XXXX : email sent to advise her about the updated XXXX alerts and to confirm the correct email associated with the account. XX/XX/XXXX : email received " are you missing out? '' presumably to promote services. XX/XX/XXXX : letter received regarding account terms, late payment fees, airline/travel service fee changes. XX/XX/XXXX : letter sent advising Visa card attached to account has been cancelled because of non-use.

Complaint: On or about XX/XX/XXXX, I tried to open an account with XXXX XXXX in Texas. I was told by the officer that I could not open an account because I owed money to US Bank. The officer told me the exact amount owed to US Bank ( {$74.00} ). I called US Bank and was directed to the recovery department. That department told me about charges in a closed account. I told them that I was not aware of these charges. I asked them to send me a copy of the statement that contained these charges. After I received a copy of the statement, the statement showed that the account had been closed on XX/XX/XXXX and the balance was XXXX. And, the statement showed that there was a debit card transaction on XX/XX/XXXX to which I knew the merchant did not first obtain an authorization from US Bank. If the merchant had first obtained an authorization from US Bank, it would have been denied. The statement showed on overdraft fee and also showed a fee on the account which was NOT listed as a fee on the schedule of fees at the time I opened the account. When I opened the account, I was provided with " Your Deposit Account Agreement '' and with " Consumer Pricing Information ''. I consulted these two booklets and I believe that I have a strong legal case against US Bank. I called the recovery department of US Bank and thanked them for sending me a copy of the statement showing the charges. I was then asked if I was ready to pay for the charges that were due. I said no and stated that I had reviewed the terms of the Deposit Account Agreement and Pricing Information that had been provided me at the time of opening the account and I do not believe the charged are valid. The person in the recovery department said that it was not the correct department to dispute these charges. They directed me to contact the person who opened the account. I still had the business card of the person ( XXXX XXXX ) who opened the account and I called that person on XX/XX/XXXX. That person said that the branch manager was not there that day and that I would have to call the branch manager on XX/XX/XXXX. I called the branch manager ( XXXX XXXX ) on XX/XX/XXXX and she stated that the account was closed and 60 days had expired since the account was closed and therefore I had no right to dispute the charges. I explained to her that I had previously called the recovery department of US Bank and they were asking me to pay the charges. I told her that I believed that I had a legal right under federal law to dispute the charges and that the recovery department of US Bank had directed me to her to discuss the charges. She again restated her claim that I had NO legal right to dispute the charges.

US Bank is reporting incorrect information on this account and I want to explain why they are committing multiple violations to the FCRA by doing this. I have never been late in my life. This is the first time that a late payment is reported in my credit history. They are reporing a late payment on XX/XX/XXXX. US Bank is being unreasonable because THEY NEVER HAD CALLED OR MAILED A NOTIFICATION when the payment was late, as required by law. US Bank is committing violations to the section ( 609 ) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act by reporting FALSE AND ERRONEOUS INFORMATION. NEGLIGENCE and UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES, MISSREPORTING LATE PAYMENT are other violations that they are committing under the FCRA, and the list can go on once I sat down with my attorneys. I have a Pending mortgage for {$500000.00} because of this wrong information being reported. I didnt even know about this until my mortgage company denied me the loan. This is affecting me in a huge way ; mentally and physically. I am demanding a DELETION LETTER from US Bank. This inaccurate mark must be removed or corrected ; otherwise, I will not have another option but file a law suit for all the violations committed. I hope to solve this through this portal because I really dont want to go to court ; but if I have to do it, I will not hesitate. Please see ATTACHED BANK STATEMENT as proof of funds at the time the payment with US Bank was due. Proving this was not a money factor or even worst that I wouldnt want to pay.

Complaint: I have a checking account in which I post all my payments. I usually have problems but I can solve them through the branch because Customer Service is literally awful. This time in particular I was trying to set a payment in one of my credit cards that the online banking did not take. I did several attempt in order to pay earlier my balance and then don't get charge with interests. I couldn't do it in both of my checking accounts. Finally the website let me do it on XX/XX/XXXX that it was the due date. That day the Credit Card wasn't payed because I had the money in my account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I check the bank as I usually do every day, and I see that the bank issue a check to pay the credit card. When I received the statement of my credit card, I was charged with late fee and the interests.

Complaint: I closed on my home on XX/XX/2019 not long after closing I begin to receive phone calls text messages, and a email from the loan manager at U.S. Bank where I received my home loan. First I was told that they didn't know that the property was located in XX/XX/XXXX county, than I was told that the program IDA stopped offering assistance to XX/XX/XXXXcounty in XX/XX/XXXX of this year, but they will honor the {$7500.00} dollar down payment assistance that I received if I sign a new contract agree to all terms and conditions, but everyone has to agree. Then I received a message from the loan manager at U.S. Bank stating that if I don't call her they will be calling my loan which means they will require me to pay off the mortgage in full, because they don't have any legal documentation necessary to keep the loan intact. I asked the loan manager several times for the new contract, but was unsuccessful.
