Termination fees or other problem when ending the lease early
Complaint: U.S. Bank tried to pull a quick trick and charge me for the plates that was returned on the vehicle at XXXX 'S XXXX AND XXXX in XXXX CT. They called the plate fee a lease termination payment due in which the vehicle was already returned and the account closed six months before they sent me their fake lease termination bill. Now they are starting to hit my credit with false claims that I owe them {$870.00} in which the payment has late fees etc. This banking company should be totally ashamed of their tactics. They even have the nerve to send me invoices for there so called end of lease term statements in which I immedialely file them in a round receptacle that resembles a trash can.
On my credit report it shows all payments paid as agreed except the fake one above that they created six months after the keys and vehicle was already returned to the dealership listed above with the plates on it. Shameful tactics this banking company uses to ruin good people credit with their complete and total lies. They need to be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.

Complaint: I contacted Elan Financial Services. I made arrangements with XXXX to pay debt off {$99.00} per month on hardship and reduced interest rate. I have made the payments as directed and on time. Today at work on my work phone I got a phone call from Elan about the same debt I made arrangements to pay. For questions the company had been contacting at my cell phone. Why out of the blue after the debt is up to date am I being called at work.

Complaint: This complaint is formally filed because on XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX titled LENDER-PLACED INSURANCE CONFIRMATION OF NON RENUAL. US Bank Home Mortgage is the institution that I have my mortgage with. The RENEWAL reason given by the mortgage company for the reason for non-renewal was Request of the Name Insured Mortgage. I am concerned with this institution not only vandalized my home, stole all my jewelry and money that I kept in my safe at home while I was working for the XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX Virginia. This institution knowingly that I was paying for my own insurance at that time, contacted my prior insurance company XXXX XXXX to tell them that my house was vacant when in fact it was not. Yes, I could have rented it out since I was working outside the area ; however, this action of them to get inside my house ; change my lock from the back of the house and steal from me is unjustifiable.
While working for the XXXX, I was the person warranted holding the agency Credit Card with US Bank Home Mortgage. I was in constant communication with this institution while doing a Modification to my house in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXXwhich the modification was never approved and no reason was given.
On XX/XX/XXXXmy house was hit by hurricane Mathew and since I was the one paying for my house insurance, I proceeded to file the proper claim. The insurance company paid in part for the repair of my house and the checks sent were sent and endorsed under both XXXX XXXX XXXX and myself. I sent these checks to US Bank to be endorsed so I can provide the proper repair to my house because the City of XXXX XXXX inspectors were taking me to court almost in a weekly basis due to failure to make the repairs.
US Bank had told me, that they would not approve any company to do the repairs unless they were Class A Contractor. This caused a delay of the repairs since there were not Class A contractor available at that time. Us Bank refused to allow a license contractor to make the necessary repairs to my home, because US Bank Home Mortgage was the lender mortgage. As a result of US Bank action, I was fined by the court which I am now appealing to the Virginia Court of Appeals.
I need this complaint to be investigated as to why all the harassment and the fact that I have been paying my mortgage which in the past US Bank Home Mortgage has returned to the XXXX XXXX, the institution that I bank with.
I am enclosing the prior complaint and attachments as well as the letter received from US Bank Home Mortgage cancelling my insurance effective XX/XX/XXXX, at XXXX XXXX.
Lastly, this situation and prior actions from US Bank Home Mortgage only confirm what I suspected from the beginning ; US Bank wants my home at all cost ; however, I have invested a lot on my home and have a lot of equity invested in it.

Complaint: Our loan payment has been sent to US Bank from my husbands employer, the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for the past 6 years on the XXXX of every month. The last payment was sent on XXXX with a stub attached identifying the loan acct number and our name. On XXXX the employer received the check back with a letter stating that the mortgage acct could not be identified. There was a phone number and extension on the check but the employer was never called to give the mortgage number and the stub with the identifying information had been removed. On XXXX a second check was sent by 2 day mail through USPS and via tracking information, was received by US Bank at XXXX XXXX at the front desk of XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX XXXX, MO XXXX. As of XXXX at XXXX, my mortgage payment has still not been processed, I am showing delinquent and have incurred a XXXX late fee. My husband and I have both called multiple times to no avail. I have spoken to XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, and when I ask to speak to that person again I am told they can not be found. I have been put on hold for approximately an hour each time and nobody seems to be able to tell me where my payment is. I have never dealt with such an inept, system and need help in finding a resolution. Thank you

Complaint: This is the second time this problem has happened with US BANK. I login to the app two weeks ago and the US BANK app tells me my available balance was XXXX dollars maybe a little more. This was around the time of XXXX XXXX. I made a few purchases that were no more than XXXX dollars. After I made those purchases my account was still positive {$15.00}. I hadn't checked my account online for 6 days. When I log in on that 6th day I see that my account is in the negatives and that two overdrafts fees were applied tAVAo my account 5 days after i made any purchases. When I called US Bank someone told me that my account was already in the negatives when I made those purchases. I was told that several times. They kept telling me that I was look at my account balance which is wrong!! When I log in to my account my AVAILABLE balance is the first thing I see. SO I hung up the phone. I go into the bank branch in XXXX XXXX last week they told me something different. I was told that I never had XXXX dollars as an account balance or an available balance. They refused to refund my account for all those overdraft fees. I am very angry with US BANK because i keep several different things from over the phone and from the branches themselves. I can't take screenshots of my account when I am logged in on the app so I can never prove to them that I'm not wrong!!! If this happens a third time, I'm filing a lawsuit, This bank is wrongfully taking money away from me and I can't prove it because I can't screenshot what the app is showing me about my account. There are huge discrepencies in US BANK 's system. I tried to open up an account with a different bank but I can't because I " OWE '' US BANK money. I don't owe them anything. This is a horrible bank who REFUSE to admit they are wrong. I want XXXX dollars refunded back to me and I want the option to close my account and take my money and business elsewhere to a different and better banking institution. This is the second time this has happened!

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 at XXXX XXXX. PDT, an unauthorized ATM card withdrawal from my checking account was conducted at the US Bank branch ATM in XXXX, California. I am a US citizen but one of my checking accounts is held at the XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, XXXX, so the transactions are recorded in my bank records in XXXX XXXX ( CNY ). The amount was debited was XXXX CNY ( approximately {$300.00} USD, based on exchange rates as of XX/XX/2019 at XXXX XXXX. PDT ), along with a XXXX CNY foreign transaction fee ( approximately {$4.00} USD ). Then, a second unauthorized ATM card transaction of XXXX CNY ( approximately {$810.00} ) USD ) was conducted at the same location on XX/XX/2019 at XXXX XXXX. PDT, along with a XXXX CNY foreign transaction fee ( approximately {$9.00} USD ). My card was not stolen, as it was in my wallet, which was in my possession over 6,200 miles away. I have tried to remedy this situation through US Bank, but they refused to help me. Problem using the card to withdraw money from an ATM
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I went to evolve bank atm to withdraw {$820.00} dollars from the atm. The machine didnt give me my money but the funds were taken off of my card. That day I called US Bank ReliaCard who owns the card which my child support money goes to. I opened a dispute they said that I would get my money within 10 days so I waited and waited I called back and asked what the status of my claim was and they said that they closed out the dispute XX/XX/XXXX nothing was wrong. The next day I called evolve and asked them what was going on and they said on the XX/XX/XXXX they sent an email and my money to them letting them know the atm was over {$820.00}. So XX/XX/XXXX I opened another dispute and evolve sent another email saying they already sent my money to them and I need my funds. The manager said I can open as many disputes as I like and they all will be closed out they are very very rude. So Evolve and I three way called them and they would hang up on us every time we called. I know that they have my money and evolve is doing everything to help me out by tracking where my money went and this is my last chance to get my money before I have to get a lawyer involved.

Complaint: I opened a credit card with my bank in XXXX. The card was apparently provides by a company called elan financial. I paid off and closed the account in XXXX. In XXXX I tried to prequalifybfor a mortgage and was informed that the account was showing on my credit report as open, delinquent, and over limit. I tried on several occasions to contact elan financial, and left numerous messages, but my calls were never returned. On the rare occasion that I actually spoke to a human I was told that my account was in collections, and they were not authorized to discuss it with me, at which point they would transfer me to some other department who never answered their phone, nor returned my calls. I disputed this with all of the credit reporting agencies, who simply replied that it was " verified ''. So I filed a complaint with the CFPB. The credit card company finally responded to that complaint, claiming they reviewed their records, and had no record of phone calls or messages from me. They also alleged that they tried to call me on XX/XX/XXXX & XXXX, and left me messages. I received no phone calls from them at all, on those days or any other, and have received no messages. I am happy to provide my call logs to show this. It is possible that they have incorrect contact information for me, though my phone number has been the same for over a decade, and since well before this card was closed. I think it more likely that they are flat out lying to avoid admitting that they are trying to take me across. ( My phone number was included in my complaint to the CFPB, so they should have had it. ) When I received their response, I AGAIN called and left a message, again receiving no response whatsoever. They did provide some limited documentation in their response, among which was documents showing that the outstanding principle was {$490.00} as the last payment that they have record of. They further state that in XXXX of XXXX the charged off the debt with a balance of {$630.00}, and sent a 1099-c in accordance with IRS regulations requiring said form to be sent with any cancellation of a principle amount greater than {$600.00}. However, by their own records, the principle amount was less than {$600.00}, {$490.00} to be exact. I would sincerely like to be contacted to resolve this in a mutually beneficial manner. It is also of note that my credit report still shows a charged off amount of {$930.00} dollars, which no one has yet to offer any explanation for, despite numerous disputes with each of the reporting agencies.
