Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 my house closed. One of the provisions was to pay off certain notes with various lending institutions. One was a credit card at U. S. Bank XXXX. Unfortunately the title company gave U.S. Bank information on a loan rather than the credit card as directed by a Court Order ( XXXX County NO XXXX, XXXX ) thus creating an error.
U. S. Bank has been requested numerous times to reverse their action and pay off the credit card with the loan amount and reinstitute the loan, however they refuse! It has been almost 4 months ; their actions have blocked me from obtaining a place to live. Created a negative impact on my treating XXXX XXXX by not having steady place to live, create a routine so I am able to neither cook a special diet nor maintain a healthy living environment. They instead of paying it off per court order have sent it to collection and adversely affected my credit.
I had planned to move my Tax office to my new home however the office stuff gathers dust in a storage unit and I try to maintain contact thru the internet. I have no office!
As a XXXX Veteran with XXXX XXXX wanting to spend what is left of his life in peace and tranquility I have ended up living out of the back of my van, motels and an apartment while my personal & business items are in three storage lockers.
I have no king size bed but instead a recliner.
All this because U.S. Bank refuses to correct an accounting error and just ignores it hoping as a XXXX Veteran with XXXX XXXX just dies and goes away.

Complaint: I have paid a settlement offer to Cardmemeber Services for my US Bank, Cardmemeber Services Account. I received a letter from the company advising me my credit report would reflect a XXXX balance. However, to date my credit file still reflects a past due balance. I have made several attempts to contact both the company and XXXX to have this infomation updated. Although, the credit reporting agencies of XXXX and XXXX report the balance correctly as XXXX. XXXX refuses to update the account balance after I have submitted four disputes.

Didn't receive terms that were advertised
Complaint: XXXX XXXX offered a {$300.00} bonus for opening a new consumer checking account in a branch between XX/XX/2019 and XX/XX/2019. The two other requirements are 1 ) completing 2 or more direct deposit of {$2000.00} minimum in total within 60 days of opening account and 2 ) enroll in XXXX XXXX online banking before XX/XX/2019. I did open the easy checking account on XX/XX/2019 in local branch using the promo code as advertised and enroll in online banking the same day. I've completed 3 direct deposits and the total amount is around {$2500.00} by XX/XX/2019. So clearly I already meet all the requirement. However, I haven't received the {$300.00} so far. I tried to contact the XXXX XXXX customer service but they sent me back and forth to various different departments and finally directed me to contact the local branch. But the local branch just said I need to contact the customer service to ask for the bonus. Now it goes to an endless loop and nobody in the XXXX XXXX will help me solve that issue.

Complaint: I had received a letter in the mail from US Bank.The letter stated that an application for a credit card using my personal information was received on XX/XX/19.The address on the application was NOT the correct mailing address that I currently use.I tried using the verification number to call and find out what was going on and after being on held for fifteen minutes gave up.I filed a report with my local police department but also want to file a complaint with the proper governmental agency that handles such complaints

Complaint: I went to XXXX XXXX with some girlfriends who had the exact same problem as I am about to describe. Each time we took a cab that was supposed to be around {$20.00}, they charged around {$850.00}!! We called our credit card companies and the two girls I was with had no problem! The credit card company marked it as fraud and handled it. But I did not have the same experience. My US Bank card keeps insisting that it is a valid charge. What cab ride would cost {$850.00}??? I have three charges for transportation : {$920.00}, {$860.00} and {$840.00}. All charges were on XX/XX/18 and the three signatures do NOT match my signature. You can tell they obviously had my signature and tried to forge it. I can not tell you how many people I have spoken with at Cardmember Services - and how many HOURS I have been on hold!

Unable to open an account
Complaint: U.S. Bank was advertising a {$300.00} bank bonus. On XX/XX/XXXX, I signed up for a bank account. They contacted me on XX/XX/XXXX saying they needed further verification, specifically my social security card, state ID and 'foreign ID ' ( green card or Employment Authorization Document ). When I sent in my I-551 stamp, they said they 'can not take an I-551 '. 'I-551 ' is the Citizenship and Immigration Services form name for the 'green card '. They claim to accept permanent residents but in fact discriminated against me by refusing to accept my I-551 stamp, which is legally equivalent to a permanent resident card.
See : https : XXXX This violates local law, California Civil Code section 51, as well as federal law, 42 U.S.C. 1981 ( c ), because they are refusing to deal with me because I am a permanent resident and not a U.S. citizen. Even if I wasn't a permanent resident, they have no legitimate reason for verifying that I am a permanent resident because I have already provided them with my state ID and social security card. Now the bonus has expired and they have essentially defrauded me of {$300.00} due to their discriminatory practices.
