Complaint: I had a XXXX XXXX card from XXXX while in the XXXX from XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. I obtained the credit cards for furniture and retail in XX/XX/XXXX. I paid all my bills on time and if I wasn't able to, there are several programs in place to help, and I used all of them. When I departed the service in XX/XX/XXXX, I asked that my cards be " shut off '' and my accounts " closed. '' I believe it was in writing as they asked me to for my protection. I didn't have work, and no where to go when I got out with my wife and XXXX kids, so I took my family and went to school. I ignored my bills for about three months while I moved, filed XXXX claims, started school, got a part time job, etc. I was also on public benefits and unemployment. I lived like that for the next two years of automotive school. I pulled my own credit report and found that I was in terrible shape. I made a list, called all of my creditors, made my case, and started paying them off, higher interest, smaller amounts first. I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to figure out a way to pay down my debt. When I left the service, I owed {$7800.00} between two lines of credit. I spoke with their collections department and they wanted me to pay $ XXXX. I worked for $ XXXX part time at XXXX 's XXXX parts, and was on EBT ( public aid ). I asked about other options and they said I could make 6 minimum due payments which started at 3 months worth of overdue payments at penalty APR OF 20 %, then five more minimum payments and they would drop the penalty APR and accept a smaller payment. The original contract allows them to charge a penalty APR indefinitely, compounded over time. I just couldn't come up with that kind of money. We tried combining those payments together and dividing it by six, and it was still something like {$500.00} / month. Still too much, I told them I would just pay what I could when I could. Next I get a notification that my tax return would be garnished. And so it was, XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX they took my tax return. XX/XX/XXXX they received {$3600.00}. Then I don't remember what happened, but I didn't hear anything for several months. I don't see anything due on my XXXX statement. I ignored that account and focused on others. Then I went through my credit report again in XXXX. My debt had climbed to {$10000.00}. They attempted to take my tax return again, but instead my return went to California child support for my wife 's child support bill- and that's an even crazier story. Then I was was offered a job I couldn't refuse and quit school in XX/XX/XXXX. A couple months of moving and the family mayhem, and it's XXXX. Again. I made contact with XXXX, and they had sold the debt to someone else. I got I touch with them. I started paying off all my smaller debts and now have no derogatory marks. I guess XXXX gave my account to TSI. By now, in spite of taking all my tax returns, my bill was {$19000.00}. I paid all but {$4000.00} before I got out, and now owed almost {$20000.00} on an original debt of {$7800.00}. I made contact with TSI and started paying {$300.00} / month for the last ten months. So now I've paid more than the original debt- less interest and collection fees, and owe a remainder of {$17000.00} of interest that is compounding monthly at my original penalty interest rate of 20 %. I recognize my fault in all of this. As a oung XXXX with a huge family I screwed up badly trying to survive. I have paid off debts non-stop for the last 7 years since getting out of the XXXX in the amount of roughly {$40000.00}. I have {$38000.00} in student loan debt that is on an income based repayment plan. I have asked to have that interest rate lowered to my original contract amount, and have not even gotten a response. I'm angry at this point. I'm doing my best to pay this debt, but the amount of interest they are charging is criminal. TSI is keeping both of my accounts open, one for each credit card, and billing me for two accounts. I asked why they wouldn't let me pay off one for {$2000.00} and get it off my credit report, and they said they can allocate my payments between each account as they see fit. That's great. I have to pay a CRIMINAL AMOUNT OF INTEREST on a debt to someone who did nothing to earn the money ( no services rendered to me ), and I get to pay their {$45.00} fee to XXXX twice per monthly payment. I feel this is unfair, but have not found any real legal cause to take up arms. I've read my original contract, my current credit reports from FTC.gov, and the US code regarding fair credit reporting and debt collection. My original contract States that a penalty APR can be imposed indefinitely, or until 6 consecutive " minimum payments due '' are paid, then the penalty APR reverts to the original app of 6.99 %. I feel like I've paid enough to warrant a lower rate. I don't know what else to do. Hire a lawyer? More debt? I'm just being exploited, robbed, outright stolen from. It can't be right.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I received an XXXX credit montoring alert that my credit report had changed. When I checked my report It showed a new collections account from a company called Transworld systems Inc. I gave them a call at the number listed to see what the debt was. On my call they told me the debt was from XXXX, a utility company ( account # XXXX ), and that they would send me a debt verification letter which I did recieve, account # XXXX. The letter was dated XX/XX/XXXX and looks like the debt was a final electric bill from a residence I live at more than 6 years ago. When I explained to them that I never received notification of this debt from either XXXX or XXXX. The representative stated that they and XXXX mailed notices in XX/XX/XXXX to the address listed on the utility account, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. It should be noted that I hadn't lived at that address for more than 3 years as the utilities billing for that address stopped on XX/XX/XXXX per the debt verification letter they mailed, which Ive included. I lived at the address for 1 year only from the date of XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX verified by calling the leasing company. Unfortunately they do not keep lease copies that long so I was unable to obtain a copy. I asked why they would send notice to a place they new I had moved from and they could not give me an answer. It should also be noted that mail forwarding through the USPS only lasts one year, not 3. Id also like to note that I have had the same phone number since XXXX and never received a call from XXXX or XXXX. I called XXXX and offered to pay the debt in exchange for the collections removal from my credit as the collections notice from XXXX was the only notice of the debt I was given to which the representative responded with " no. '' My issue is had I not received a credit monitoring alert I would still have no idea I had this debt in collections. I've included copies of my federal tax returns from XXXX -XX/XX/XXXX showing I did not live at the address they claim to have mailed the notice to in XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX

Have been paying a creditor for almost 1.5 years when I realized that XXXX has a lawsuit that was filed in XXXX. Complaint: Oh XX/XX/XXXX Transworld Systems appeared on my credit report as a collections agency for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX. XXXX, Florida. I was a patient in the Emergency room at XXXX Hospital in XXXX XXXX, Florida in XX/XX/XXXX. The hospital had my Medicare card ( part A and B effective XX/XX/XXXX ) as well as my Veterans Medical Card that has been in affect since XX/XX/XXXX. I immediately called Transworld Systems, they said they could not remove the debt but could file a dispute. I never received a call, bill or any other contact regarding anything owed. I called XXXX XXXX billing. I was told that they had received payment from the va in Full, in XX/XX/XXXX. They told me they would send a letter and tell the collection company. To date they still have the collection on my report. I called them and requested they contact their contact. Im trying to refinance my car and purchase a Home. I need these items off of my report. They refused to do anything until they were Notified.

Complaint: Im going to sum it up quickly I was a former employee of the XXXX XXXX I got terminated XX/XX/XXXX The XXXX headquarter location continued to pay my medical insurance benefits up until XX/XX/XXXX and now wants payment of the bill they paid so I do not agree with this bill so they sent it to the collection U S Treasury and then U S treasury sent it to Transworld System Inc I have sent dispute to both collection agency and nothing is getting done I am just being passed of back and fourth from both agencies. I am in the process of buying a home and its at a stand still because both collections agencies fail to do anything not to mention I sent in supporting documents and request several disputes. Complaint: My loans were in school status and had no problems with credit reporting when service updated my credit report as being 180 days pass due which caused a severe drop in my credit score upon correcting this my credit score went up a little bit but not nearly as high as it was prior. I contacted them and was assured that the credit reporting error would be fixed. While they did fix the issue the score didnt go all the way back up and they did not update their system and nine days later I got a bill says I owed {$880.00} and that my loan was going to go into default. This is a huge problem for me because I have requested consolidation of my perkins loans in with my other loans and this could halt the process for me, which will cause further harm. Additional I feel that the school is playing games because I have an open lawsuit pending against them.

Complaint: I am trying to obtain Parent/Student Loans for my XXXX sons entering college this fall. I was DENIED because TSI has a hold on this account. I called them on Friday, XX/XX/XXXX. They said I owed {$340.00}. They told me this was part of the US Treasury Debt. I said I had paid this debt in full and will attach the documentation. They said this is just the interest left over. They said I still owed {$340.00} on Friday, XXXX XXXX. Blindly, I paid this amount via my debit card to TSI in full. TSI said once they receive payment, I would no longer have any further penalties. They also said to check on Monday, XX/XX/XXXX to make sure that my payment cleared. This situation started because I owed the US Treasury and HUD {$230000.00}. On XX/XX/2019 I was told by Treasury that if the debt was paid in full I would not receive any further penalties and interest. The law firm paid the debt in full. The documentation attached, the Certified Check, will prove this was paid. The check had to be sent to Treasury no later than XX/XX/XXXX. It was at Treasury on Monday, XX/XX/XXXX. The bottleneck is at Treasury. The Treasury has not cleared the check. Today is XX/XX/XXXX. TSI is continuing to bill me interest. This is not something I can control. And, it is not fair that I am being charged MORE for something that I am not causing. Further complicating this issue, is on Monday, XX/XX/XXXX when I called to see if my payment cleared, TSI said it did. However, more money is due. WHAT? They now claim I own an additional {$170.00}. It feels like ransom. The Treasury check isn't clearing so TSI is still charging. I have been getting phone calls and hang-ups from the NJ phone number ( XXXX ). It's harassment at this point. They won't listen to reason. The folks on their side have no clue how to explain what's happening. I have been talking to many people at TSI and no one seems to understand the issue. They are completely incompetent. When I asked them to show me the Burden of Proof of Debt they were stumped. I figured out what the issue was and asked them to see if the Treasury check cleared. Sure enough ... YES, that's the problem. It's because the Certified Check for {$230000.00} hasn't cleared! And now TSI thinks it's ok to continue to charge me for something I can not control. I have done EVERYTHING Treasury has asked me to do and TSI has asked me to do as well. I am beyond frustrated. I have two sons who need their Parent/Student loans and this company, TSI, is hindering this process. My children and I should not suffer at the hands of people who are completely incapable of understanding the situation I am faced with and incompetent in doing their jobs. Please advise.

Complaint: UAS XXXX has had the incorrect contact information on my account ever since they bought out the previous loan servicing company. I have tried multiple times to fix this but it has been an issue for at least a year. Because of their incorrect data, I do not receive any information in regards to loan status, due dates, or past due notices. Due to my loan bouncing around multiple companies, I have been unable to keep track when a payment is due, who it's due to, and what the amount is. In fact, I have received zero communication about past due notices, yet this company has no problem reporting it to the credit bureaus. They make no effort in working with the customer and leave me wonder what is going on.

Complaint: Message I sent them XX/XX/2019 : There is still an issue with my account having a *XX/XX/2019 - 30-Day-Late* mark being reported to the credit bureau every month and negatively affecting my credit. I was a XXXX XXXX XXXX during that time period and should have been in deferment. I sent your company documentation proving that I was a XXXX XXXX XXXX at that time and you put me in deferment as of XX/XX/2019, but DID NOT remove the negative mark from XXXX in your system. I have called 5 times over the past few months trying to resolve this issue and every representative has told me they " put a note on my account '' or will contact an " account specialist '' to resolve the issue and email me confirmation when the issue has been resolved. The issue is still not resolved and no one has ever sent me a follow up confirmation email. As of XX/XX/2019 XXXX XXXX informed me that your company is continuing to report this misinformation. I am very unhappy with the way your company is handling this situation and how long it is taking me to get this issue resolved. On XX/XX/2019, at XXXX XXXX, UASconnect wrote : Dear ..., Thank you for contacting University Accounting Service . We apologize for the inconvenience in your part. As we check there is a benefit applied on the time that it was reported negatively. We already reported it to the credit agency to be removed but then it still exist. Kindly file for a consumer dispute or have the credit agency call us together with you on the line so that we can resolve the past due notice in your account verbally. *There are several other emails where they can not look up my account or can not figure out how to resolve this issue and just say to call. When I call they say they will fix the problem but never do. I have made several calls to XXXX XXXX initially the late mark was removed by them in XXXX but then reappeared two weeks later once UAS sent their monthly report. XXXX XXXX said there is nothing they can do to permanently remove this late mark because UAS 's system will continue to report the mistake monthly until they fix it internally. This issue has been going on for four months and is negatively affecting my credit score. UAS is claiming they have tried to resolve the issue but it does not reflect in my credit score. I have never had a problem with a loan servicer, this company is ruing my credit and I am not sure what to do at this point.
