Complaint: TD Bank 's stated policy is as follows " For personal checking accounts and money market accounts with check access : When possible, transactions are processed in order of date and time, most closely reflecting the order in which you transacted. They appear in your Account History in the same order that they occurred, beginning with the most recent. These transactions then impact your Today 's Beginning Balance in the morning, when overnight processing completes. '' TD bank however does NOT follow this stated policy when it comes to direct deposits for payroll. Typically, employers release payroll direct deposits to the respective banks at least 2 days prior to the actual payday. If TD Bank is following their above stated policy, then they should process those direct deposits in order on the date and time they are actually received. TD Bank does not do this .... They HOLD those deposits for as long as 2 days until the actual payday. This is in direct contradiction to their stated policy of processing in order on the date and time received, and only serves to enrich TD Bank with additional overdraft fees when other transactions are processed ahead of the direct deposit that they are holding, even though they in fact have received the funds. This is harmful to consumers.

Complaint: I received a letter from Date : XX/XX/XXXX Re : Dispute and validation request XXXX Ref # XXXX XXXX Customer : TD Bank XXXX/XXXX Credit card Original Client Acc # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Doing business As, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX / XXXX, FL XXXX This company sent me a lot of statement from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX relating to credit card debt because last three month i receive a notice of collection that I owe XXXX credit card the sum of {$300.00}, I reply that I did not know this debt and need debt details, now they sent me about 10 statements from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX beginning with transaction {$50.00} on XXXX + accumulation original debt + interest + penalty monthly up to amount of {$300.00} in XXXX. After reading information from news paper said that XXXX is hacked and leaking many thousands customer 's identities ( in XXXX ) I do not use XXXX credit card. So far, I did not receive any statement notification by email or by mail of Target since XX/XX/XXXX. I think my identity was leaked by XXXX and other guy can use it to apply for XXXX credit card and use it under my name. Why XXXX or TD Bank do not sent monthly notice or statement by email or by letter as other entity issuing Credit card like XXXX, XXXX XXXX, or Banks? Why they hiding the statement? what for? why they intentionally hiding them until the accumulation amount up to {$300.00} from the beginning amount only {$50.00}?? If they sent statement to me monthly, I should have paid in full the first statement dated XX/XX/XXXX {$50.00}!! They must have responsibility to leak identity of customer and did not info customer this problem! in XXXX i must close all my bank account and freeze my SSN to prevent from identity thief. This is not a fair business to hide statement for a long time to collect accumulated penalty and interest, they did harmful consequences by leaking customer 's identity!! I need help from CFPB to resolve this problem asap. Thank you.

Complaint: I was charged a total of {$80.00} on my XXXX credit card for what they said are cash advances. I have never used my card to receive a cash advance. I paid for items through XXXX XXXX and they claim that I used my account to take a cash advance and was therefore subject to a cash advance fee. I have used other credit cards via XXXX XXXX and have never been charged a cash advance fee.This is no different than paying for items through XXXX XXXX or XXXX, but they consider XXXX XXXX a cash transfer service and am subject to the fee. I can understand being charged a fee if I truly used my XXXX credit card to withdraw money from my credit card, but I did not. I have filed a dispute with them, but I received a letter back declining the dispute. I was charged on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, twice on XX/XX/XXXX and the last one on XX/XX/XXXX. Each of these times, I was charged a {$10.00} cash advance fee. I was unaware of these charges, until I received my statement in the mail.

Complaint: I filed for a small personal loan through what a I thought was a legitimate loan company " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' based out of California. I received a telephone call from the " representative '' clarifying the information on the application. In going over the information, the representative stated that he had my bank password, which he proceeded to tell me. Surprisingly, he did in fact have my password. At no time, did I provide my password to him. He transferred money from one account to another, making it appear that the loan was granted. However, TD Bank is stating that fraud was not committed as they are stating that I willingly gave the password to the caller and authorized the three separate transactions.

I contacted my bank and they are unable to locate the any issues. TDRCS/ XXXX XXXX FOR LESS acknowledges that there is a problem but is doing nothing to fix it. Complaint: I went to TD Bank at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NJ XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX ( Sunday ) to establish a Rental Deposit A/C ( Landlord & Tenant A/C ). Tenant 's check in {$3300.00} was deposited same day and a deposit slip provided to me before I left ( copy of bank 's account opening form with all the details and my signature is attached for reference ) On XX/XX/XXXX, after I have evicted the tenant not paying rent for 6 months, I went to the same TD Bank to close the rental deposit account and want to withdraw the deposit to compensate my rental loss. I was told that the rental deposit account was closed in XX/XX/XXXX after no activities for 6 months since account opening and they were unable to retrieve any history of this account. I was asked to request for a statement of this account to be mailed to me and then talk to the Branch Manager with the statement. Nothing was received so I went to the bank again on XX/XX/XXXX and meet the Manager, she was also unable to find anything ans request me to wait for her call after she investigate the case with the Back Office, nothing happened, so I called the Manager on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX to follow the case. The Manager said they are unable to do anything without the deposit slip which I was unable to locate in my files. I raised the question to the Manager that who authorized the closing of the account without my signature and are they able to locate any record of the deposit made on XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX and where the fund goes after the check was cleared. The Manager was unable to give me an answer and keep asking me for the deposit slip and/or the check copy which I can not find. As far as I know, this kind of Rental Deposit A/C can not be closed without my authorization, but no one in the bank can tell what happened. I am requesting the Bureau to help that what I can do in order to get back the fund of {$3300.00} deposited by me to the bank.

Complaint: We have a mortgage with TD Bank that has auto pay so we do not miss any payment. The auto pay is also thru TD. This XXXX, TD Bank apparently raised our Escrow {$50.00} without any notification although neither our taxes Or insurance went up. The XXXX payment was short {$50.00} and TD immediately reported us as late Payment. As soon as I was aware I paid the {$50.00} event though I did not agree. Our Perfect credit score dropped 100 points. We tried to work with TD Bank and their Collections were very nasty and refused to remove the reported late payment stating TD does not make mistakes. We had many mistakes made during our loan process including money removed from our account we did not authorize but we always forgave them

Complaint: I am going to try to consolidate this without get things to confusing. As you know I have been similar incidents with you regarding this in florida. We recently moved here to XXXX from XXXX and XXXX froze credit. when trying to use card i was told to call in and get card updated. when I went to get card update XXXX said card could be updated. In addition to this, XXXX XXXX informed me that XXXX had sent them a bad credit rating and they need to readjust my application. when I went to check XXXX I could acess account and was not able to use the web site. when I attempted to call again was blocked When we first moved here, we need to use credit report for phone and lights, previously we had to locked reports but report should have been open for two from the date I had initially open them, but when contact the recording agency one was XXXX for lights, they said account couldn't opened. Include in this was another incident with credit union and bank account was open at one and ended up at another ; bank records can easily confirm this. Now these two other incidents, so we will need help to address.
