Complaint: Somebody cashed a fake check worth {$2900.00} in the XXXX XXXX T.D bank branch and immediately withdrew the funds. I submitted a fraud claim with this bank, but whenever i try to inquire about the status of my claim nobody gives me a straight answer. the fact is that this is my one and only bank account which they froze because my account went into the negative because of the fake check that was cashed. My issue is with the bank taking as long as it has resolving the fraud claim. It happened in their branch the money was taken out of my account by their teller, and its obvious just by looking at my bank statement that i was nowhere near XXXX XXXX Florida the day the fraud occurred. this should have been a simple resolution yet T.D bank does nothing.

Complaint: The bank fail to provide advertised Rental Car Coverage during my car rental, where it instruct its customer to decline CDW offered by the rental company as they are covered by using their card for rental. I was locked out of my rental and the rental company requested payment for its service to unlock the car since I declined their offered CDW. When I called the XXXX XXXX customer service, since CDW is covered as per their advertisement, they transfer me to XXXX XXXX and in turn transferred me to roadside assistance which charged me {$69.00}. A current XXXX credit report reveals that a fraudulent application was submitted with her information that resulted in an inquiry XX/XX/XXXX with TD Bank/XXXX that she did not authorize. An official dispute of this was faxed ( verified received ) to TD Bank/XXXX fraud department XX/XX/XXXX. In response TD Bank provided application data however did not confirm the issue was resolved nor did they remove the inquiry from the credit report. This is a violation of FCRA and my clients federal consumer rights.

I was told I would qualify and per the agent 's explanation wouldnt need to do anything else. With this issue I thought behind me I focused on moving for my new job. When we applied for a rental house we discovered my credit had been marked. This was the agent 's fault. The XXXX complaint was responded that they tried to reach me, but again we had moved and I had updated this with the agents. I want the 30 day delinquent mark removed.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I purchased a car from XXXX of Downtown XXXX from XXXX XXXX a sales representative. Before I even walked in the dealership I had my credit union pre-approve me for the purchase of my vehicle. When I spoke with XXXX I made it clear that I had my loan pre-approved and there was no need for him to run my credit. XXXX explained and assured me that he had to run my credit at least once so they can draft a Sales Contract, he did not make me aware that he will run my credit over 7 different times with different lenders for no reason especially because I was already pre-approved elsewhere. As I was sitting there waiting for the documents to get drafted I got several alerts that someone was viewing my credit, he assured me again that was not the case. Within a week my credit score dropped 20 points and a have 7 hard inquires. Ive tried calling and emailing the dealership to ask why they would run my credit without my consent, since no one called me I walked in and finally spoke with XXXX XXXX a manager ( he was of no help ). As a consumer I feel betrayed and lied to, they miss used my social security without my permission for their own gain. After reading online how this affects many people and no one seems to do anything about it, can you please help. I've called the creditors and they cant do anything, I've tried making a police report and they said its a civil matter, placed a complain with FTC and they are looking into it.

Complaint: There was fraudulent transfers and withdrawals which were made on me and my daughter 's account ( my name is on her account ) on XX/XX/18. I notified TD Bank immediately. These were coming from a XXXX, NY location. I reside and CT. The total amount that was taken was approx. {$8000.00} ( around {$5000.00} from my account and around {$3000.00} from hers. ) I did file a claim and did give the Bank a police report, called SS to freeze my SS # and called Credit Bureaus. I had to keep calling constantly to see what the status was and was told to call the fraud dept. I never was able to speak to the same person nor the actual person doing the investigation. After the 10-day business investigation period, I was told that we were not going to receive our money and that our claim was denied. At one point, I was told that it had to do with an ATM debit card transaction and then I was told that it was from an IP address and was asked if I gave it to someone. I wouldn't even know where to locate it. I totally feel that this Bank is trying to make it my fault and are making me feel like I am the criminal. I asked them to send me the investigation report and give me a case # and the IP # they were referring to so that I can have it checked by an IT person. They told me that the only thing I was going to receive was the letter from the Bank denying my claim and that the IP # was confidential. Was my information confidential to this criminal. I can't believe that is how they treat a customer that has been with them for years. Thank you for any assistance that you give.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX, I purchased furniture from XXXX XXXX XXXX for a 24 month no interest payment plan. First payment was due XX/XX/XXXX and the last payment due XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX I started to have problems. I received a late payment charge. I did not dispute the charge but did call to inquire and the agent said that payments are posted the day the check is received even on weekends. Thus, I monitored my bank account to see when the checks cleared. Recently, I reviewed statements and this is not the case. See attached transaction and posting dates : XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX & XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX & XXXX, XXXX I started to monitor my checking account to see when checks were clearing. All was well until XX/XX/XXXX when my check had not cleared. I called to make a payment on XX/XX/XXXX. The next month XXXX payments cleared my checking account on XX/XX/XXXX. I also pay a XXXX Bank payment ( to XXXX, GA ) the XXXX of each month form XXXX, NY and I mail both checks the same day. The TD Bank payment goes to XXXX, MI. The XXXX 's account has never drawn a late charge. Why only TD Bank? Due a day later. On XX/XX/XXXX I paid the account in full. TD Bank continues to assess a late fee and incomplete payment charge ( {$65.00} total ). I have made extra payments XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ) and have paid the account off early. I believe the extra and early payments should close out the account and that the fees assessed are in error. These early payments should not allow TD Bank to put me a position to penalize me. Therefore, I am requesting a reversal of the {$65.00} and that TD Bank stop mailing me solicitations. Yet, TD Bank says that the early/extra payments don't count as the are not submitted with invoices. A strongly disagree. To summarize : 1. I have proof that TD Bank does not post payments on transaction dates. 2. I have been ahead of the agreed payment schedule since XX/XX/XXXX. 3. I have paid the account in full as of XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX months early according to the agreement. I am requesting TD Bank reverse the {$65.00} and stop sending me solicitations. I suspect that I am being used by others to conduct money laundering activities. However, td Bank thinks that I am not my own. I have to complain to the Federal CounciXXXX that these banks are not enough. Protect the personal information of consumers and cause serious damage to the victims!

Complaint: I have on several occasions sent TD Bank my new contact info. They have repeatedly told me that I have to contact another number by phone to do that. I have told them that I will not do that, as they should have the ability to make the changes. There is a section on their website that allows me to make those changes, but I have noticed on at least one occurrence that it was changed back to my original contact information. My last contact with them, I threatened to file claims with the FTC, the XXXX, and my state 's Attorney General 's office.

Complaint: I received paper bill statements through the mail from TD Bank/Target and was changed to " electronic bills '' without my expressed consent or knowledge. I was in FL over a month with my XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) grandmother in XXXX 2018, my partner informed me of all received bills. Target wasn't one, so I was unaware there of a ~ {$40.00} balance and late fees along with locking the card because it was 2 days late. I called, was told the balance and paid immediately. The rep removed the late charge and told me it shouldn't be an issue after the explanation and since I had the card almost a decade with no issues. I received a notice stating I was reported to all 4 credit bureaus. I called and was told to write, which I did on XXXX XXXX, 2018. I received a response on XXXX XXXX, 2018 stating they investigated and are correct. I called on XX/XX/2018 and spoke with a supervisor at TD Bank and requested when the paperless billing was approved by me but he couldn't find a date. He stated there is nothing he can do. My credit score dropped from the XXXX by XXXX points due to TD Bank doing this.
