Complaint: Hello, I signed up for a XXXX credit card a few months ago as part of the checkout process. At the time I was interested in a few furniture purchases and was enticed by their rewards program. During the same period, I moved a new address and notified USPS of the change. However, I havent received the credit card, any statements or correspondence from XXXX since the beginning. Given the lack of communication, I was unaware of any charges that I may have to pay. About a month ago, I was performing a routine credit check on XXXX XXXX and noticed that my credit score has dropped significantly. I noticed that I had some late payments for XXXX. To rectify the matter, I called XXXX customer service and was forwarded to their collection department. I explained the situation to the involved personnel and attempted to offer payment of the intial charge and initial fee. In exchange, I requested them to remove late fees and fix my credit score. However, they refused to engage in any resolution other then full payment including late fees and no engagement on credit score fix. Hence, this is my last resort to get this fixed. I have had excellent credit with always on time payments. I am hoping to get back to that. Thank you!

Complaint: I contacted Target Target/td XXXX XXXX, SD XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX On X/XX/2017, and reported fraud to Target regarding a hard inquiry made by someone who stole my identity. They noted the fraud and confirmed it but have still not removed the hard inquiry from my credit as required by law and even though they, nearly a month ago, confirmed it was fraud. It is adversely impacting my credit.

Complaint: I was supposed to get cash rewards for credit card points. I clicked an option to collect my cash rewards and signed up to have them transfered to my checking account. I was told it would take 7-10 business days. After a month, I still never received the reward. I called and they told me there was a system error and they are manually giving out the rewards. I never received an email, letter, or phone call about this. However, if I was late to make a payment they would not hesitate to charge me a late fee. However, they make me wait over a month to redeem my rewards and then dont even tell me about the system error.

Complaint: On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX afternoon, my husband received a voicemail from Target Credit services verifying some information regarding an application of credit card using my name, social security number and license number. I called the Target Credit Services and informed them that it is not me who is applying for the credit card. I asked them if they apply it online or at the store. They told me that the application was filled out in person at Target located in XXXX, Florida. I called Target and spoke with security manager to ask if they can help me find the person who did it by looking on their video camera. They told me that they can do it but it will takes time and they will just call me when they saw it. The next day, I filed a report to XXXX police officer. My complaints is how can the Target employee accepted this application without a proof of identity. I still received the Target gift card this week which is telling me that it was approved even though it was cancelled already on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX after I spoke with Target Credit Services.

Complaint: We were billed {$25.00} because TD Bank stated our checking account balance fell below the required $ 2.5k minimum. When we opened the account, we were advised that it was the balance of all of our accounts, not just checking which is why we agreed to that account type. There are other options we would have chosen had they made that clear. In fact we were steered away from their relationship checking because it had a higher combined minimum balance even though the total of all of our accounts exceeded the minimum. If the terms of my account have changed since we opened a several months ago, I do n't recall notification of it.

Complaint: On MondayXX/XX/XXXXmorning at XXXX XXXX I discovered at least three fraudulent changes on my checking account with TD Bank. Two were charged to XXXX XXXX ( {$940.00} + {$680.00} ) and one was charged to XXXX ( {$1.00} ). I called TD Bank and reported the fraud. They told me that the card was compromised and the card would be deactivated. They told me that I had to wait for the pending charges that I saw on my account to post before they could dispute it with XXXX XXXX. The XXXX charge dropped off. They told to me to check periodically and as soon as the charges posted they would begin the investigation. I called again TuesXX/XX/XXXXand and again todayXX/XX/XXXXbecause the charges are still listed as pending. My question to them is why had n't they done anything in the intervening 3 days? I asked them to explain the logic of waiting for pending fraud changes to be completed, and then to have to recover the money that was now stolen. I also questioned that a credit card transaction was different from funds being handled as a debit from a checking account. After I got off the phone for about 12 minutes. I checked the email status of the complaint that I had registered on Monday XX/XX/XXXX. ( XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX right after the phone call ) This is what it said : Dear xxxxxx, Thank you for contacting us in regard to your account. To dispute the Debit Card/POS debit charged to your account, please contact our 24 hour Customer Service department or visit a customer service representative at your nearest TD bank store and ask hem to fill out a regulation E form for a merchant dispute. This form will grant us the authority to act as your advocate and research the disputed Debit Card/ POS debit. '' Five minutes ago on the phone TD Bank was still telling me that I had to wait for the charges to post before anything could be done. To add insult to injury I was in a TD Bank branch the morning of XX/XX/XXXX to get another debit card, and could have filled out the dispute Monday morning. For some reason TD Bank did not want me to do that and either willfully lied or misdirects its employees

I was out of the country during that time and my card was not with me. when I went to check my account a month after I returned home ( the man at td bank that I reported it to who was an assistant XXXX said I had a 3 month time period to report it and I was within that time period ).. it have spoken to the assistant XXXX and the XXXX of the branch and filed a report with the nyc police department but it is almost 4 months later and this XXXX is still missing. as I need to pay a caregiver for my husband I need this money but am getting no results from the bank and do n't know where to turn to next. any help you could give me would be most appreciated

Complaint: Reward dollars were available when TD Bank cancelled the card for inactivity. I called customer service numerous times to initiate a change of address, with no success. I also called customer service, both the credit card service and the rewards service, several times to have my rewards ( {$110.00} XXXX transferred to my brokerage account where they would receive an additional XXXX % bonus totalling XXXX {$120.00} XXXX. Although I received an email ( attached XXXX indicating this had been done, the funds never showed up in my XXXX XXXX brokerage account. I have written to TD Bank headquarters about this matter but have never received any reply.

Complaint: For about 2-3 years Ive received ads from TD Bank regarding HELOCs. I do not own a home. I have no idea where they got the idea that I own a home. I submitted a written request ( secure email via my XXXX ) on XXXX to opt out of solicitation. It took the company 4 days to respond to my request. A XXXX ( no other identifying information ) refused to help me via secure email. I had to call their 800 #. I waited on the phone over 20 minutes to speak with a most unpleasant representative. I have absolutely no faith that Ive been removed from their marketing lists.

Complaint: I have an Checking Account with TD Bank and up until this transaction, I have been able to successfully resolve issues with my account with my local branch, located in XXXX Vermont. On Thursday, XXXX XXXX, 2017, I was charged {$35.00} on my checking account for an overdraft charge on the account. When I signed up with my checking account I specifically denied overdraft protection which I knew would knowingly deny charges on my account when funds are not available to avoid being charged a fee. On this charge, my account was - {$5.00} after the bank allowed a {$1100.00} check to clear. Although it was nice that the bank allowed this check to clear ( which would have cost a {$25.00} return check fee ), I believe that my bank was not legally in the right to charge my account {$35.00} when I denied this protection on my account. When I called the main number, they said that my account was ineligible for a refund and that this type of charge is computer driven and can not be refunded. I formally request that the CFPB investigate TD Bank for all automatic charges when the customer has denied overdraft protection. My fear is that many people in my similar situation are being charged this fee. I am sure you do not think {$35.00} is a lot of money but to me given my kids college tuition and my high cost of living expenses, {$35.00} is my weekly grocery bill, so to me, TD Bank has fraudulently taken a weeks worth of food off of my table and probably to many others.
