Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 the supposed lawfirm SUTTEL & HAMMER sent a letter claiming I owe a debt in the amount of {$4300.00}. They claim that XXXX XXXX has retained the firm to collect its claim against me. I do not know SUTTEL & HAMMER. And they have failed to verify that they are authorized to collect a debt from me. On XX/XX/2019 I sent SUTTEL & HAMMER asking them to verify the debt. I asked them to provide licensing and permitting information that proves you are legally allowed to collect a debt from me. I stated that if they are unable to verify the debt they agree that XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX is a victim of identity theft. I asked them for an authentic signed contract between them and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX showing proof that they and that are now or were at one time in business together and other supporting documentation that gave rise to the alleged obligation XXXX is claiming owed. I asked for a statement admitting whether they are the holder in due course or whether they are a servicer. I asked if the loan has be securitized and they CUSIP number for which it was securitized. I asked them to make available for visual inspection my original wet ink promissory note. I asked them to provide copies of current licenses and permits that allow them to collect this debt for a third party as a licensed debt collector in CALIFORNIA, informing them that fines and felonies are the penalties if they are not licensed properly should I not be the true party of interest in this debt collection bill copied and enclosed. I gave them 30 days to respond and they failed to do so. Instead, on XXXX XXXX SUTTEL & HAMMER committed fraud by advancing a writing without providing procedurally proper validation of the alleged debt. They sent payment copies and copies of billing statements which is not validation.

Complaint: I received a notice from suttell and hammer XX/XX/2019 stating that XXXX XXXX XXXX has referred the above account to their offices for collection. I responded XX/XX/2019 asking them to verify that the debt was mine, exercising my rights under the FCRA, they sent me over 100 statements with my name and incorrect address on it. The failed to comply but I was served with papers today XX/XX/2019 being summoned to court for breach of contract, I don't recall signing a contract with Suttell and hammer, they didn't have enough decency to provide the contract with my signature on it that I am breaching, they are in violation of the FCRA.

Complaint: I was issued an unsecured credit card by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, a credit limit of about {$5000.00} dollars.I made payments on the balances due until XX/XX/XXXX when I had a Baby, lost my job and could not continue payments.On XX/XX/XXXX, SUTTELL and HAMMER, PS a Debt Collection Agency, Sued me without properly notifying me of the lawsuit that a Judgment was filled against me for default on my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and they placed a LIEN on the Property my Husband owned prior to our marriage.Because Washington is a community property State, this LIEN has adversely affected my Husband 's Mortgage payments, our Credit and ability to refinance the Mortgage to get some money for immediate needed House repairs we occupy with our Kids. I had no knowledge about this LIEN until XX/XX/XXXX when my Husband tried to refinance his house.I reached out to SUTTEL and HAMMER, PS, the collection agency representing XXXX who filled the Judgment to have the LIEN REMOVED on the property but they refused, they also threatened severe action against our Property, Unfairly threatened that if the Settlement funds comes from the Refinancing or Modification of the House, they would attempt to collect the principal amount plus all accrued Interest over the 10 year period.They insisted that the LIEN will not be removed until I pay the principal amount of {$6000.00}, filling fees, Attorney fees and interest fees, a total of {$17000.00} dollars. I explained my current financial situation to them that I am currently unemployed but to no avail.They wanted a Settlement of {$7000.00} before removing the LIEN on the house but gave me only 5 days to pay it or pay the full amount, they also refused any payment plan that I proposed.

Complaint: On going collection since XXXX. Received collection calls & letters regarding a XXXX XXXX XXXX ( I was an authorized user and my son XXXX XXXX was the account holder ). I responded with a Cease & Desist letter as well as a Verification/Validation letter requesting proof ; such as application with my signature to the law firm handling the account, Suttell & Hammer. They provided a copy of the application and a recent statement of the account. The application only has one applicant and one signature XXXX XXXX. I responded with a letter advising the application does not show my name or signature and that again I was an authorize user and according to the credit law I am not liability for repayment. In addition, the account holder filed Bankruptcy and was discharged XX/XX/XXXX. I provided proof of the Bankruptcy. Suttell & Hammer filed a lawsuit against me for the XXXX XXXX account on XX/XX/XXXX. I received a copy of the lawsuit where the Proof of Service claims I was served XX/XX/XXXX at my son 's home, which I use as a mailing address. I am not a XXXX female as stated on the proof of service and I was in the state of Idaho in XX/XX/XXXX. I am retired and I travel from California, Idaho, and Hawaii. I have been dealing with this issue far too long. I have sent countless proof that I am not liable for this debt, proof the law firm sent me as per the Verification/Validation letter yet they still continue to violate the FDCPA, FCRA, and FTC laws. I sent a Certified Letter in XX/XX/XXXX summarizing this issue as well as requesting to file a Motion to Dismiss with Prejudice since I am not the responsible party and to provide proof of the matter.

Complaint: This is a XXXX credit card debt. XXXX lost my job due to economy downfall. Prior to my job loss I had perfect credit and my XXXX card was paid on time. XXXX Card debit was turned over to SUTTELL HAMMER & WHITE XX/XX/XXXX I was served papers informing me I was going to be sued I called immediately and began making voluntary {$50.00} month payments.Each year I received a letter telling me to call to review my account, which I did.
