They are in violation according to the ftc because I have never signed a contract with this company and they are trying to falsely collect on a debt.. Complaint: To Whom it May Concern, I am writing this letter in regards to a collection that is on my credit report. It seem that this collection account is being passed around and I have submitted several letters to resolve this issue.
The creditor is SOUTHWEST CREDIT SYSTEMS, L.P. for XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. I don't own and have never had an account with this company. I am asking for this account to be removed from my account. I have filed an report with the FTC about this report and they have listed it as a fraud on my account. This was placed on my XXXX report on XX/XX/2018. Please see attach fraud document. I have sent this information to the credit bureau also.

Complaint: I Received a letter from the collection agency, saying I owed them {$570.00} for an alleged account with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I mailed a certified letter, which was received and signed for on XX/XX/XXXX requesting information to validate the alleged debt. The things I asked for are things that I am by law able to request, and the collection agency must provide. I have yet to receive any of the documents I equested that are required by law to validate the account. It is well over 30 days, almost 60 days past the required time period that the collection agency must respond per FDCPA, and FCRA laws. I have contacted the agency multiple times, and get no cooperation from them. I have every phone call documented with names, dates, and times. XX/XX/XXXX told by rep from the agency that they cant send any other documents besides the bill from XXXX. Stated they did receive my certified letter, but they have been waiting on their client XXXX to respond with the appropriate documents. Transferred me to a supervisor ( name documented ) so I left a message for her to call me.
XX/XX/XXXX Supervisor *XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX called me back, was very rude, and told me that they sent a copy of my last bill to me, and that is proper validation ( which I havent received ) I called XXXX ( name, date, time documented ) and they are not able to pull up any account information with the account number that is listed on the collection letter sent to me by Southwest Credit . XXXX isnt able to verify any of the information required by law. They cant verify anything, I was told that they arent able to pull up any statements, or any balance that may be owed. Rep from XXXX told me the account with collection agency will be deleted, a ticket was submitted for deletion. After this, I have checked daily with the collection agency to see if the account ha been deleted yet, and they tell me it hasnt. Called XXXX back XX/XX/XXXX spoke with Rep ( name documented ) stated the collection agency has all the info needed to delete the account. This is clearly a zombie debt, that can not be validated by the collection agency OR XXXX, yet the collection agency wont delete this account from my credit. This is a clear violation of Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, as well as the Fair Credit Reporting Act. In the state of Texas, a civil suit can be filed, the collection agency fined, and I can seek damages up to {$1000.00}. I am hoping not to have to retain an Attorney, but if the account is not deleted from my credit, I may have to do that.

Complaint: Southwest Credit at the direction of XXXX added a negative credit entry to all three of my credit files for a alleged debt without giving legal notification of the debt. Southwest Credit alleged that they sent to me via US Mail, a debt letter concerning the debt back in XX/XX/XXXX. I am DENYING this alleged debt is mine as I have not heard about this debt and was never notified of this alleged debt until XX/XX/XXXX.
I am a current customer of XXXX, therefore they are fully aware of my current mailing address. Southwest Credit at the direction of XXXX, sent their debt collection letter alleging that I owe a past due balance to a previous address that I have not resided at for over 5-years. I have moved three times since the address Southwest Credit sent their alleged debt letter. XXXX and Southwest Credit seems to be using nefarious debt collection practices to insert negative credit entries onto my credit reports. Again, I have no knowledge of this debt and I contest that it is not mine, nor do I acknowledge that it is my debt. As you can see on the letter Southwest Credit claimed they mailed out to me, the address they sent the letter to is not my current mailing address and has not been my address since late XXXX. I have no idea who that letter went to and I personally never received it.

Item appeared on my credit between XX/XX/2018 and XX/XX/2018, with no prior notification that they had purchased a debt, and that they Intented to report to the credit bureaus. They failed to notify me of my right to dispute.
As this is a clear violation of my rights remove asap.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a notification of a negative credit entry being added to my credit report. This negative entry dropped my credit score by 15 points right away. The credit entry stated that I have a past due bill from XXXX XXXX and that Southwest Credit Systems is the assigned collection agency. I am currently a XXXX customer and began service only 3 months ago. During my installation of my current service, I was not told that I owe a past bill, nor do I have any recollection that I owe XXXX from a previous service contract. On XX/XX/XXXX, I reached out to XXXX about this negative credit entry and the individual I spoke with advised me that this was for a bill where disconnection of service was from XX/XX/XXXX. The XXXX representative would not give me any details about the bill only that It was on their files. Neither XXXX or Southwest Credit Systems attempted to contact me about this alleged past due bill even though I am a current XXXX customer and they have all my up to date contact information. XXXX and Southwest Credit Systems are obligated to contact me first, present verifiable information to me so that I can have an opportunity to address the alleged past due bill before posting the information on my credit report/file. This was not done, and I was given no prior legal consideration or notification. The credit entry claims the file was opened on XX/XX/XXXX.

Complaint: I reported an inaccurate information on my credit report, put on there by Southwest credit systems, L.P. they said my balance was XXXX XXXX dollars, now after my complaint they responded and also uploaded few billing statements with my name and my former address on it, this could have been made up, it also shows inaccurate break down of service they claim i had at a former address, i have been harassed with all sorts of promotions from XXXX in the past but only remember getting internet service that was paid for on time and cancelled when i moved from my old address. The billing information they uploaded is very inaccurate and i kindly ask that they provide a full contract with my signature before accepting service that they claim i owed them {$58.00} dollars. Once again i will like to see a contract and i also will like to see documentation giving Southwest credit systems lawful rights to collect any kind of money from me.

Complaint: Good morning this is in regards to a debt not owed to southwest credit. responding to other complaint to southwest regarding XXXX XXXX I currently am in contact with XXXX and my contract is with XXXX and my payments go directly to XXXX.
Everyday I get harassment calls from XXXX XXXX XXXX and I have asked them to stop calling. I do not have a contract with Southwest credit which is trying to collect a debt not owed to them. In previous complaint southwest sent over to you copy and paste information of XXXX which is not valid.
I am asking southwest to remove themselves also from all 3 credit bureaus which they have to right to add themselves when in fact I am paying XXXX not southwest.
