Round Point Mortgage stated they sold home to another recipient for around {$220000.00} and it wasn't sold to XXXX, Texas Real Estate XXXX XXXX.
XXXX sent me a note that him and his wife bought my house at XXXX County Auction from Round Point Mortgage Law firm XXXX XXXX XXXX.
So, Why is Round Point falsified that XXXX XXXX is not the recipient who purchase my home at auction?
Also, HOPE Program Rep called Round Point Mortgage and assisted me on VA Loan process, we called twice and the second time, Round Point Mortgage Rep stated they sold the house at the auction on XX/XX/2018.
A completed application was faxed and emailed and Federal Government has evidence and one last note, Round Point Mortgage was given evidence on my XX/XX/XXXXXXXX and Pain issues and under Prescribed Medications and XX/XX/XXXXXXXX Treatments with my Primary Physician and Surgeon Dr , XXXX XXXX XXXX.
Round Point Mortgage has violated my ADA Disability Civil Rights Act under Department of Justice and has Discriminated and Retaliated against me because I filed various Federal Complaints and because I am XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and a XXXX US Military Veteran.
Since Round Point Mortgage has violated Federal and State Law in selling my home and facing alledgations of VA Loan Modification, VA Loan Fraud, Corruptions and Frauds there should be a Financial Restitution of the equity of my home to accommondate me on my new home that I like to persue in California.

Complaint: I called and asked procedure to have pmi removed previously, was told on the phone once its paid down to 80 % just call and request. When I called back to request was told I had to pay for a new appraisal. My home was appraised at XXXX when purchased I have paid balance to {$160000.00}. I sent a letter in writing stating I have reached the below 80 % range in addition sent copies of current XXXX which is now {$250000.00} and copy of current XXXX which shows {$260000.00} All payments have always been up to date, insurance kept up, taxes kept up my loan is eligible to have pmi removed and the mortgage company refuses to remove it unless I pay through them a {$600.00} appraisal fee. The property is well kept and worth well over the original purchase price. I have submitted proof and have requested pmi be removed in writing Its my understanding that is the process and the pmi should be automatically terminated but my mortgage company Roundpoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation refused to do so.

Complaint: After refinancing my mortgage in XX/XX/XXXX with the company, I was making payments that should have been escrowed for taxes and insurance. Unfortunately they did not set up the escrow account. I had no knowledge of this until XX/XX/XXXXafter my had had suffered damages from hurricane Irma. When I called my insurance carrier they said I did not pay the premiums and therefore I am not covered. I immediately contacted my mortgage company the agent that wrote the policy and my mortgage broker. The employees of my mortgage company tried to tell me o was responsible for the house not being insured. I continue calling them until I found someone XXXX XXXX who was willing to listen and research what had happened.
Because the house was not insured, the mortgage company placed a forced placed policy on the house that had a ticket price of over {$8100.00}. I continued calling my mortgage company and had no success. After much research into the company I was able to find the names and email address of management and emailed them and the consumer ombudsman. I decided to email them of my problem. Two months later in XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from an XXXX XXXX who identified himself as the owner of the company. I was also in communication with an XXXX XXXX. I was told that I should not be held responsible for the lack of action on the part of the company and would not be responsible for paying the forced placed policy. I was billed for over {$6700.00} putting my escrow account in the negative as a result. The mortgage company had scheduled an assessment of my damages and it came up to {$10000.00} and change. After numerous emails and phone calls to the mortgage company I got them to agree to give me the difference of what my deductible and the $ XXXXso I can get the repairs done and secure my own insurance. The approval of the checks took months, thus delaying the repairs and my ability to secure insurance so the forced place policy that did not cover me and my belongings could be removed. They sent the check in XX/XX/XXXX for a little over {$3100.00} I worked with a general contractor for the repairs done and obtained insurance in XX/XX/XXXX. I do not think it is fair that I should pay the {$6700.00} and change for the premium since they initially agreeed it was their mistake. And now I am in touch with XXXX XXXX and she said that was never agreement made. She is claiming the {$3100.00} check was to help with insurance when that was solely for the claim that was processed for the repairs. I told her if my original policy would have been a set amount I understand I needed to pay that bill me for that but the mortgage company need to own their part in the fiasco. I should not pay for their mistake. I would like a refund for the forced placed policy.

Complaint: We closed on an investment property in XXXX, TX in the beginning of XX/XX/2018. The original loan was for $ XXXX. The escrow should have already been set up at that point to cover all insurances, including flood insurance for the year. The original lender XXXX XXXX sold our mortgage to RoundPoint Mortgage in XX/XX/2018.
RoundPoint on more than one occasion demonstrated terrible communication. They did not have various documents ( they kept asking for things over and over again via mail ), and did not acknowledge our new account until right before XXXX 's mortgage was due. This is relevant because they then over paid the flood insurance to FEMA in XXXX. They sent them an extra {$6200.00} from our escrow.
RoundPoint did not inform me of their mistake. It was in fact, my insurance broker 's office ( XXXX XXXX ) who called me and told me that the mortgage servicing company had paid the flood insurance twice. FEMA sent us back an overpayment check. RoundPoint then sent me a statement in XXXX claiming escrow for the year was going to be short, and that for XXXX we were going to have to either send them {$10000.00}, or our monthly mortgage was going to increase by + $ XXXX/month.
I called them and asked 1. ) Why was the flood insurance double paid?, and 2. ) How can the escrow be that much off when the loan is only a few months old? Their response was literally, " these things happen '' and " you'd be surprised how often this sort of things happen. '' They gave no reason why the flood insurance was handled so poorly, or why the escrow was still apparently $ XXXX off from what was calculated for closing only a few months before.
I have trouble getting them on the phone ( I'm on the XXXX coast, their offices on the XXXX coast ), and the website login doesn't give access to much account info at all. I sent the FEMA overpayment check back to RoundPoint to be put specifically into escrow but they have not informed me of any changes yet. I logged onto their terrible web interface and I see that the monthly mortgage has now been recalculated.
So, in essence this is what happened : XX/XX/2018, close with a monthly mortgage payment of {$1700.00}.
XX/XX/2018, loan sold to RoundPoint.
XX/XX/2018, RoundPoint over paid flood insurance.
XX/XX/2018, Round point says we were going to have to either send them ~ $ XXXX, or our monthly mortgage was going to increase by $ XXXX/month.
XX/XX/2018, I get the FEMA overpayment back into escrow with RoundPoint. XX/XX/2018, RoundPoint recalculates our monthly mortgage payment to be {$2100.00}.
Why are we being asked to pay ~ {$300.00} more a month when we only closed last XXXX? Why are they not taking responsibility for their mistake? I don't understand how the terms of the loan can change this much. I'm not sure what action to take now.

Complaint: Completed a Refinance in in Late XXXX on our house serviced through Roundpoint Mortgage that uses XXXX as a third Party Servicer. The RE-FI was done by XXXX XXXX XXXX ( New Loan ). During the process Roundpoint paid the property taxes through the escrow account because they were due, and XXXX XXXX also paid the taxes on the new loan through escrow, using XXXX XXXX to complete new loan. I have confirmed the double payment through XXXX XXXX County Tax Assessor that payment was accepted on new loan through escrow and payment from Roundpoint was sent back for double payment on XX/XX/2018 of {$2900.00}. Because i knew taxes were paid twice I allowed approximately 60 days to process for reimbursement of overpaid taxes by Roundpoint before I started inquiring about the overpayment with Roundpoint. After this time I have made approximately 8 calls to Roundpoint asking for reimbursement totaling hours on the phone only to get get many variations on what is going on, i have been told by Roundpoint that, nothing is showing owed to me, its under review, still in processing, through conference call with Tax Assessor that it will be overnighted to me on XX/XX/XXXX, to now it will take another 6-8 weeks for reimbursement. Round point has been less than cooperative in resolving this in a timely matter and in truth I believe it is lost in their system. I have researched matter and have documents showing Roundpoint payment on XX/XX/2018, XXXX XXXX payment on XX/XX/2018, and Tax Assessor payment back to Roundpoint on XX/XX/18 Just looking for help to resolve this matter. Complaint: In XXXX, our loan was sold to Roundpoint. At the time, the loan had double charged me on my insurance bringing my mortgage from {$1500.00} to {$1800.00}. XXXX ( # XXXX ) paid my insurance late and was given a cancelation notice and despite receiving a reinstall letter and assurances that I never lost coverage, they decided to apply their own insurance when they sold my mortgage, hence the cost. Eventually, Roundpoint got the refund and this was put into my account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I paid the difference which was supposed to clear my account ( XXXX ). The amount paid was {$2100.00} which cleared XXXX and XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I paid my usual amount {$1500.00} which is supposed to be for XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX, I got a phone call in which I was told I owed {$300.00} something and I explained that the extra escrow amount was for a double insurance, that a new escrow estimate was done and all of this was supposed to be resolved. Once again, I was told that this was going to be fixed and my loan was up to date. Today, I got another call and once again I was told that the {$1500.00} I made wasn't enough and after going thru this once again, I was assured that this was going to be cleared by XX/XX/XXXX. PLEASE can someone get Roundpoint to fix their system? I am afraid that this will affect my credit rating, not to mention, all the time I have spent with this issue.

Complaint: Roundpoint mortgage Co. established an escrow account to pay my insurance without my knowledge, or authorization.
They issued payment to my insurance co. without receiving an invoice from them. In several months Roundpoint, has not been able to resolve the problem. They appear to be sincere about fixing the problem but can not get it done. They have not to sent the letter requested by my insurance co. ( letter head memo requesting the money be returned ). My insurance co. has been waiting for several months for the authorization to return the money. They have no problem in returning the funds, but require the written authorization..
Roundpoint is now sending me late fee notices and requesting I pay the funds back. Rounpiont has agreed that it is their fault. I have continued to pay the amount of the mortgage payment but not the added amounts for the escrow account. I pay my own insurance by bank draft from my checking account.
Please help!!! If you look at their reviews on line you will understand what I am dealing with.

Complaint: Due to circumstances beyond my control, unable to make mortgage payment starting in XX/XX/XXXX. Had to vacate house with my child XX/XX/XXXX. Listed property for sale, did borrower assistance application for deed in lieu of foreclosure and/or short sale, as realtor listed property at less than what was owed. First offer for short sale XX/XX/XXXX. Mortgage company repeatedly claimed missing documents or info, all of which was sent by myself and my realtor. After 6 weeks, buyer rescinded offer. Another short sale offer for cash in XX/XX/XXXX. Exact same thing happened, second application with all required paperwork filled out and sent in. Lost second buyer. Then was supposedly approved for deed in lieu, all papers received and signed with notary, sent in XX/XX/XXXX. Few weeks later, told an additional paper needed signed, emailed to me. I signed it, and like everything else, emailed it back ti multiple individuals at Roundpoint, as well as the loss mitigation email. Then informed needed hard copy by XX/XX/XXXX ( they told me this after XX/XX/XXXX, and I had NEVER been told of a deadline, nor had my lawyer been told. Argued that they should still continue to deed in lieu, and was told by Roundpoint thay they were still working on it. Their lawyer contacted mine. And then wanted that one paper XXXX XXXX XXXX to the lawyer directly, which was done the very next day. Now, all of a sudden, they're saying I have to start the process all over again, which I've done multiple times over the past year. My realtor had said I her 30 years in the business, had never seen a mortgage company do this to someone. Please help me.

Complaint: So this is my complaint # 3 regarding Round Point Mortgage Servicing Corporation since i never gotten fully explained responses and provided numbers - only partial dismissive responses.
So on XXXX I've sent following email to RoundPoint : Good afternoon, Mr. XXXX I just received the respond to my complaint to you and CFPB on my request to update the escrow monthly payment. Your respond contains 3 pages, The first page info that you DID adjust the amount from {$2800.00} to {$2800.00} per month.
The second page disclaimers The third page very general payment history.
You didnt send me detailed escrow analysis for which I asked in my complaint!
You didnt send me updated monthly Mortgage Billing Statement for which I asked!

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018, I called XXXX XXXX XXXX, to inquire how much I need to pay to get rid of PMI, the customer service rep, said {$1700.00}. I made an online payment for {$1700.00} to principle and fax over the PMI request form for removal of PMI, the same day. The lady did not state I needed to have anything else for PMI removal.
I then received a call from an appraiser to schedule an appraisal of my home. I called Round Point and asked how much was the appraisal and all they could tell me was between $ 300- {$600.00}. I then told her I was at 80 % so I should not need one.
On XX/XX/2018 I called again to XXXX ID-XXXX and she stated PMI would be removed, if I paid {$1200.00} then my principal would drop below 78 % and it would be removed. That same day I made another online principal payment for {$1200.00} On XX/XX/2018 I sent an email to Round Point, to request dropping my PMI because now I am at 77 %, but never heard back. I also asked for my extra payments that I paid for PMI be applied to principal, and nothing has happened.
I have made numerous phone calls, sent email for request removal.
I have an excellent payment history, have never been late.
My payments are current and I am at less than 78 % of principal.

Complaint: Hello, Since XX/XX/XXXX, my husband has been paying our home owners insurance directly to our insurance company, XXXX XXXX, yet Roundpoint Mortgage keeps billing me for a monthly escrow for homeowners/hazard insurance.
I have called them numerous times to ask them to remove this monthly charge from my mortgage payment and they tell me that it is not possible. Last summer, they sent me a refund for the escrow balance of XX/XX/XXXX -- due to unnecessary payments to them for home owners insurance that was already paid.
I received an end-of-year statement for XX/XX/XXXX that I had a closing balance of {$1600.00} after the appropriate disbursements were made for property taxes. When I called them in XX/XX/XXXX, requesting my refund ( for homeowners insurance payments, that they keep charging me ) I was told that they could not refund the money until they reassessed my escrow account.
They reassessed the account in XX/XX/XXXX and are still refusing to send my refund. In addition, I am still being charged a monthly home insurance escrow fee -- even though they have received a declaration from our insurance company, twice.
I would like them to stop charging me escrow fees and then holding that money for over a year, then refusing to refund me when I ask for MY money. I have gone through this process with them numerous times and am exhausted each time because they act as if this is the first time, they don't know what I'm talking about, they just repeat the same info and tell me there's nothing I can do.
I was keeping track of our email correspondence through their online secured messaging system, but now they have done away with that feature. So, I can no longer track our documented trail of correspondence. I have asked them for ALL emails and phone recordings from XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX and am awaiting their response.
Please help me resolve this situation. Roundpoint mortgage is stealing my money, or a the very least, holding it hostage so they can gain interest fees. I believe this is a common practice for them as there seems to be numerous complaints of escrow overcharging by them when I searched the web.
