Complaint: I have been working with Roundpoint Mortgage on a short sale for several months, after working with XXXX on a short sale for a few years. XXXX sold the loan to Roundpoint. The property in question is appraised at XXXX, I have an offer on the table for XXXX. After multiple rounds of providing tax returns, bank statements, pay stubs, and packets of forms including things like the uniform borrower agreement, Roundpoint continued to ask for more and more. Each time they would ask for a document I had already provided - but now they need it on different letterhead, or signed in a different place, or in a different font - it was getting ridiculous. I received a hearing to appear in court with 5 days notice. I appeared, and Roundpoint 's attorney did not. After much legwork it become apparent that the bank either did not confirm the hearing with the courthouse or canceled it, and I was of course not notified. I called the law firm on the summons, and found out the property was scheduled for auction the following Monday, and Roundpoint had not notified XXXX ( who was driving the auction I believe ) that I was actively working on a short sale. This was on Monday XXXX. The law firm looked up my case, and confirmed that if Roundpoint notified XXXX before the auction, they would postpone it. On XXXX, I found out that Roundpoint rejected the short sale offer back on XXXX and sent me a letter, which I have not yet received. The auction is now Monday morning - which leaves me no course of action. Throughout this process I have provided all reasonable documentation requests, while Roundpoint continued to change their requirements. I do n't understand why Roundpoint refuses to work with me. I do n't understand how they can just keep changing their requirements and rules to avoid having to accept any short sales.

Complaint: Roundpoint Mortgage has not handled the modification process in a timely manner. They take a very long time to review the information provided. Then they will request the information again as the previous documentation becomes outdated. Single point of contact will not return calls or get in touch with client in a timely manner. It took the XXXX XXXX about three months to be able to speak with him and multiple phone calls. Roundpoint keeps delaying the process and has not been actively trying to help out the borrower.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2011 I become unemployed. At that time my mortgage servicer was XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ). By XXXX I ran out of funds and I applied for mortgage modification and I head great difficulties to have the mortgage modified by XXXX, regardless, I used XXXX different mortgage modification company to help including XXXX MHA approved, Credability with no avail. XXXX sold my mortgage without resolving my modification. The mortgage changed couple of hands since. I am XXXX years old and XXXX, but because I was turned down with my modification and I need to keep my house I was forced to go back to work. I applied for modification to have my mortgage interest rate reduced not raised. The servicer Roundpoint Mortgage Servicing Corp. offered me a totally dishonest modification they are raising my interest rate from XXXX to XXXX. They are stilling my house, I am XXXX and my XXXX benefice is {$2000.00}. I have to XXXX as soon they will make my house affordable. Is insane to force me to work until I will be XXXX to pay the mortgage.

Complaint: To Whom this may concern, I am writing you and filing an complaint against RoundPoint Mortgage regarding my property at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, Il. XXXX there is a foreclosure sale date set for XX/XX/XXXX set to sell the home my husband, daughter and I currently reside in at XXXX cst I started sending documents to them in XX/XX/XXXX, well before the XXXX days prior to the sale of my home. I have dealt with XXXX other people regarding a loan modification at Round Point mortgage regarding this loan .I spoke to a XXXX XXXX who is no longer with RoundPoint Mortgage who assured me that once the paperwork went through, the sale would be postponed along with the underwriters. I have provided the proper documentation needed to do a loan modification, the hardship letters, the tax information, and bank statementsmedical statements and other personal documentation .I have sent missing documents when they were requested, and in the span of XXXX weeks left messages for someone to call me back to tell me if I was missing any other documents.i received no phone calls until I received a phone call on fri. XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX at RoundPoint mortgage and was told I had a lein against my property from my association that was back from XX/XX/XXXX which I did n't know that was on my property. I then got the information about the lein from the association that day and emailed the proper documents that said my lein was released on sat XX/XX/XXXX. I then got a copy of the release from the association and emailed those documents on XX/XX/XXXX. I also went to the recorder of deeds in XXXX XXXX and had the lein released today XX/XX/XXXX. I emailed this information to loss.mitigation @ roundpointmortgage where I have sent all other correspondence. I spoke to XXXX and he told me the documents were n't shown in the system yet, as it take XXXX hours to get into the system and to call back on weds XX/XX/XXXX which is clearly after the sale date. I have sent all the documents needed in the time frame I have been told that they were needed to be in to ask to stop the sherriff 's sale of my home. According to Roundpoint Mortgage, the paperwork was not received in the time frame they needed. I should then have been told on Friday that there was n't anything more that could be done to stop the sale of my home. I understand my loan was in default and I was trying to do everything in my power to remodify my loan but have been given a run around. I then spoke to a XXXX who is an underwriter at RoundPoint mortgage on the evening of XXXX who told me there was NOTHING that could be done to stop the sale. XXXX XXXX
